Our wedding was yesterday and everyone says na ang ganda ganda ng make up ko and super fresh look all through out the day.. Pati yung hairstyle na peg ko nakuha din nila, pinterest peg highly recommended Ms. nini marquez

Mga girls, question naman, yung sa mga kumuha ng makeup package na kasama yung 2 mothers, pano nagawang make-up-an si MIL? I mean, si MIL ba kelangan pa pumunta sa hotel ni bride? or pupuntahan ni Make-up artist sa hotel where groom is?

^^ i also chose between val and tippy. halos same kasi sila ng price and both have good reviews. but when i consulted with our photographer, he said they are both really good but with tippy i get more than just a makeup artist, i get a superstar. lol he gives a lot of support daw kasi more than others. and he also makes sure that the makeup matches the style of the photographer.

My MIL went to my room for her make-up. Mayone explained that she had to because it will take time if the HMUA will still set-up their stuff in the groom's room. It also makes things easier because while Mayone si doing my mom's make-up, the hairstylist is fixing MIL's hair, then they switch after. This set-up saves a lot of time

Ah oo nga no.. thanks sis caleeice! Inisip ko naman baka may team B na pupunta kay MIL kaya lang dyahe naman kung Team B lang mag make up sa kanya.  In that case, papasundo ko na nga lang si MIL.

hiwalay ba kayo ng prep venue ng groom? kasi kung same area lang, i guess walang problem the MIL has to go to the bride's area since dun nakasetup yung makeup artist. but if hiwalay kayo, hmm siguro better pa din if sa area ni bride magmemakeup si MIL. hehe

most of the time si bride talaga ang nauuna sis. kase after make-up ni bride may preps pictorial pa with the bouquet, gown, etc. tsaka mas matagal talaga ang duration ng pag-aayos sa bride. like for my wedding, after ng make-up ko diretso pictorial then my hmua team started working on the ento/family naman and pagkatapos ng solo pictorial ko, tapos na din yung ento/family so pics with the family and ento naman.

Patulong naman. Ok ba si tippy talaga? He has an ongoing promo kasi though cheaper si val kasi mas madaming heads free. Im torn! Val or tippy. Ok naman kasi both works nila, cheaper lang si val kaya lang naghhesitate ata ako kasi I've read reviews na late sya though some says hindi naman.

Hi sis, it depends on how many people are in your HMUA's team.  During my friend's wedding, her HMUA had 4 team members, and aside from the bride, there are 8 people na additional na mamakeupan.  The main HMUA did the brides's, while the other 3 did the rest of the entourage's hair and makeup. 
For my wedding next year,my HMUA's team is made up of 4 people to do my HMU and the groom's +5 additional heads. And I'm also hiring another team to do 6 more additional heads.

Matagal ayusan ang bride sis. Kasi kahit habang nagpipictorial,if evver na pinagpapawisan ka na, magrerequest yumg photo/vid mo na iretouch ka. Or ipowder ka ng hmua mo. Ganun yung ginawa ng photo/vid and hmua dun sa wedding ng friend ko. And even for my church wedding next year, nakalagay sa contract na the main hmua will do my hair and makeup and will do retouch before i go to church, and do my second look during the reception

Sis yannuh, mauna kang mmakeupan kase may pictorial ka pa for preps. Habang nagsshoot ka, saka aayusan yung iba. Don't worry about the hulas, hehe kase airbrush naman yon saka air conditioned yung place ng preps mo.

so yeah, i am copying all your responses and printing this thread now. 50 days before my wedding and me and hmua has a misunderstanding. tell me sissies if im just overreacting pero naloka ko when she asked if i will allow her team to do my second look on my wedding day instead of her kase she's running to another gig (star magic ball thingy) and there's this celeb na memake-upan nya on the same date. Di pa daw sya nagcommit dun kase she has to wait for my approval before sya pumayag pero i really find it super offensive to think na i've booked her a year ago and indicated sa contract na she'll be the only one to do my hmu, retouch, prenup, etc. So i told her that. then she said, nagdecline na daw sya sa kabilang party, saying sya na daw pati sa second look ko. wala na. naimbyerna na ko. plus 10 heads ako so sayang talaga yun. haii mga sis, any affordable HMU na marerecommend nyo, pls let me know. budget bride here.
