Hi sisses! Just learned this from the other thread but I think its not proper to ask there so, I just created a new thread I did checked the site and its cheaper nga Photographers usually charge 20k for their cheapest album. Now, just want to ask, has anyone tried this? Ok ba ang gawa? Same lang ba sa product ng photographers talaga or mas mas maganda pa rin yung kasama sa packages ng photographers? Any opinion mga sis?

yes, i have made 5 photobooks already and the delivery is within 7 days from the date you make order here in sg. you will be doing the layout yourself. the program is easy to use and is basically drag-and-drop. you can also opt to just use their readybooks templates if you don't feel up to layouting. the quality of the paper is really nice - glossy, magazine-type pages. so how awesome your photobook will be will really depend on you and your crativity

^sayang dapat pala nagpagawa na lang din sana ako ng photobooks dati nung nasa sg ako para may hardcopy ako nung mga shots ko. Problema lang kasi ibang format ng photo yata ang tinatanggap nila for the files  baka mag-iba ang output sa final print, tinamad na tuloy ako mag re-edit

Sis 120515, may pics ka ng photobook mo? Would like to see sana kung maganda ang actual product nila. Enhanced pics pa rin ba ang ibibigay ng photographer kahit service only lang?

^ i'm not sure on whether the photographer will give you enhanced pics. i think you can discuss it with your photographer. i'll take photos of my photobook so you can see

17glut, you can order even if you're in Manila.  Mine (not wedding related) arrived 3 days after uploading the photos.

What i did was i downloaded the photobook designer found in their website, worked on my design offline and then uploaded everything when i was done.  You can either use their templates or design your own (I usually do the latter).  I always choose delivery via courier (for an additional fee, ofcourse).  So far, wala pa naman ako naging problema.

files should be in jpeg. If file is too small for the size/lay out you want it on your fotobook, may mag aappear na "!".  So you will know if photo will not come out clear. 

Upon placing your order,  you can choose naman the type of paper you want, size, cover, etc.  If you're buying discounted coupon online,  check na lang alin yun dun.
But you can upgrade naman din if you want during final order.

^aware naman po ako sa procedure, i even used their program din before pero i never proceeded kasi for some reason the photos i put in just doesn't resize properly. Naka RGB din kasi lahat ng shots ko when I edited them pero accdg to them they would need CMYK for the print outs to match the ones on file. Ang bigat pa ng uploading due to size of the files kaya tinamad na ko magre-edit at that point.  ang mura pa naman ng fee sa kanila, sayang sana pinatos ko na lang din ...

I think their photobooks are good quality (I've used them for personal projects before), but whether or not it's comparable to your photographer's albums depends on exactly what kind of album they're offering. I'd expect a professional album to be lay-flat (so that each spread opens perfectly flat, unlike a book or magazine), with much thicker paper; but some photographers offer a photobook style and I wouldn't pay a premium for that.

Most professional photographers work with trade-only suppliers, but there are a few companies who sell lay-flat or flush-mount books to consumers like Artisan State and AdoramaPix. I haven't used them personally but there are lots of reviews online.

Meron sila high-end I would assume that's comparable to those of photo suppliers but I've never heard of any feedback on that yet.

it's "premium silk" so i guess it would fall under the "glossy" category but it's not shiny

Okay quality ng Photobook Philippines, ordered a number of times already. Madalas kasi sila mag promo sa mga online buying sites haha, for personal photos ko ginagamit.
