So, are you still going to invite him/her to your wedding? Hehe, just kidding. 15K is A LOT for a design for a friend.

^kaya nga! I was looking forward to Ink Scribbler as well but hubby wants a pop up design for our church and its really nice.

Yes he still is! Just shrugging of the idea that he charged me so high! Kaya ayun I told it to our other friends because one was thinking of asking him also to do an invite for her child's christening in which she's thinking it would be free too but I told them it won't be.

my brother in law will be having a destination wedding in Vietnam (we all live in Australia but his fianceé has a Vietnamese background) so they'd like a boarding pass for their Save the Date, and passport for their invitation (1 main invite and 1 RSVP card)

Super highly recommend  Sweetscapes. Leean is currently doing my invitation layout and we are on the final draft. Grabe siya, super prompt. She was the one pa who emailed me this morning just to let me know that she is now back online after the short Christmas and NY break she took.

For those who booked Global Invitations, how early should I get in touch with them for my September wedding? Our layout is super simple lang and I don't think we'll be needing a lot of (e-mail) consultations naman regarding it. Thank you!

hi girls, what do you call the type of printing na nakaraise yung text? is that embossed? im eyeing a simple and classy invites lang. no decors, but the text must be cursive and raised. is that expensive?

Hi! Any suggestion for a useful wedding invitations? Yung hindi nila itatapon. Hehe.

We just made a draft wedding guest list. Parang more or less 20 invites lang ang need gawin for 150pax kasi puro big families kame. So h2b says we can splurge naman daw on invites.

Also he said sa mga principal sponsors yung sosyal daw na invites ang gawin, para isipin daw sosyal yung kasal, baka sakali magbigay ng malaki. Haha.

Saka we have congressman, mayor, president ng big companies and government agencies, alam nyo naman sa probinsya ang daming kakilala ng mga magulang nya. The problem is, hindi kame kilala ng mga taong to, tapos kinuha pa ding ninang/ninong ni future MIL. Haha! Kaya sabi dapat daw maganda yung invitations.

I need suggestions. Thanks!

^sis rowan sakto pala kasi nagbabasa basa din ako regarding sa print process sa invitations, yes embossed ang tawa duon but meron pala iba't ibang klase ng embossed printing. Here's the link to fully understand printing emboss. 😊😊

Hmm, I don't think you can avoid having your invites end up in the trash no matter how pretty they are, hehe. I'd suggest a classy design (muted colors) and veering away from kitschy stuff (bi-folded, may caricature, etc etc) if you want to convey a certain theme sometimes the best invitations are the simple and classy ones, google ka nalang and you'll see samples.

Also, I can't help but ask kung iba na ang criteria for choosing principal sponsors nowadays? Just a question/observation... But that's off-topic so feel free to ignore :-P

^ i agree with sis reese17, sometimes kahit gaanu pa kaganda ang invitation, you end up throwing it away after the wedding ng couple kaya better make it simple yet elegant para hindi rin sayang, i guess you can use your excess cash to something else sis that's my opinion lang naman like mas bonggang souvenirs.
