Hello! I already got my invites in a dark gray envelope. My supplier said if she does calligraphy it won't work with black ink so I agreed to do it without calligraphy. Do you have any suggestions on how/where to put names of guests aside from calligraphy? And can you suggest a calligraphist? I think it would work if a silver/white ink is used.

Juicecolored may mali sa printing ng invitation ko. Nagkamali ako sa surnames ng 2 entourage ko. Magkapatid sila and surnames ng mom nila ang nailagay ko. Huhuhu sana magawaan pa ng paraan, hopefully this Monday makakuha na ako ng feedback kung they can reprint kahit 20 pieces lang para lang dun sa mga nakakakilala sa mga kids na yun. Though yung mommnaman its ok lang daw. Nakakahiya nga lang. Huhu ang ganda pa naman ng invitation ko kaso diko ma absorb kasi nastress ako. Huhu

finally got our invites and we're super thrilled!! nakakakilig yung outcome, worth it lahat ng stress while working on it. our supplier is global invitations. we booked them during a bridal fair last May for their cheap (but quality) foil stamped invites. we started working on the layout nung July and only got our invites last week. buti na lang we started early. the first layout they sent was horrible! halatang d pinagisipan. the artist assigned to us doesn't make any effort at all, kung ano lang yung sinabi ko, yun lang gagawin niya. eh im not naman an artist so hanap hanap pa ko ng peg and check with them if it works out of not. kaya tuloy ang dami naming revisions and they reply only once a week. sobrang stress kasi hindi lang naman ito yung inaasikaso namin and i couldn't just let it go kasi i've put so much effort in it already. the truth is, i really like them naman kasi hindi sila madamot. the package we got was really sulit compared to other foil stamp suppliers. looking back though, i realized i should've just gotten a professional layout artist to do the job. could've saved me from all that trouble. anyway, we got there in the end and now im super happy and sooo excited to distribute the invites! this is it na talaga!

Good for yousis bzbee! ang tagal din pala ng process ng pagawa ng invites, sana may tumangap pa sa amin na supplier kahit 2 months na lang kami. 

sis kisses1417, ok lang yan, maintindihan naman siguro nila yan dahil invitation lang naman.. ang mahalaga hindi principal sponsor sis at maganda ang invitation

monopoly19, in case you would use calligraphy on your envelope (and i agree it would look good) you can indeed use silver or white ink. just use the bleed proof kind. Can your supplier still do the calligraphy and you can just supply them with a bottle of silver or white ink?

finally delivered about half of our invites today after a week delayed from the printer plus calligraphy. nakakastress din pala ang invites.

Our invite supplier was super stress-free, but sa distribution ako nastress haha. We're about 38 days to go and i am down to my last three invites. Have to give them by this week to meet the ideal RSVP deadline

Nakakaloka may kilala ako 40 days to go they havent even started on theirs daw. Most printers have a 3-4 week leadtime from start of design stage to completion of printing so best to start early talaga esp if maarte ka sa design.

sis bzbee we also booked Global Invitations yesterday on Before I do Bridal Fair cause they agreed to work on our invites in a matter of month. sana kaya at sana walang stress haha anyway may napili na si H2B na design nila may mga pinabago na lang ako so i'll wait for the mock up.

we got print divas 5x7 invites. thru e-mail lang kame nag uusap for the layout. mali ko lang is nung sinabi for mock up na siya, akala ko they will print one then send a pic thru email din, ayun pala pupunta sa office nila! nag antay ako for almost 2 weeks!

good thing din kase naihabol yung name ng priest at na correct yung misspelled last name ng isang ninong. sana mabilis lang ang printing nila.

My invites (design and printing, envelope liner, monogram seal, envelope addressing) were all done by Annasthetic Designs based in Marikina. Medyo malayo from me but they are super pleasant to work with and super prompt all the revisions every 2-3 days. Printing leadtime is 2 weeks.

I have already distributed most of my invitations too, buti na lang nag reunion family namin, ang bilis ng pagkakadistribute ko. Siguro I have mga 15 invitations pa sakin pero mga 5 na lang yung ako mismo yung magbibigay. The rest, uuwi pa lang from abroad. Ang saya ng feeling pag nagagandahan nila invitation and they so loved the calligraphy in the envelope adressing hehe the foil stamp too is super worth the extra pay. Lakas maka kilig ng invitation! 😃😃😃
Naka reorder na din kami 20 entou sets lang sa error ko but Im letting it pass na kasi nagkamali takaga kami pero buti na lang nagawaan pa ng paraan wohooo!

Hapoy too that when I give my invites, they're so excited too. Yung iba mag oovernight pa sa hotel. Nakakatuwa lang 😃

^ glad you worked it out! i also agree about the kilig with invitations. i used to think i could get away with tipid invites but i became so arte OC with it hanggang sa lumobo na ang budget. but it was super worth it. mas nakakatuwa pa because i can also feel that h2b is happy and proud of the outcome kahit kontra siya to spend more from the beginning. lol

@tiffany24 better kung may napili na kayong design. i think kaya naman yun. maybe they didn't feel the need to rush ours kasi our wedding was 6 months away pa when we started. sana lang hindi mapunta sa inyo yung artist namin na matagal magreply lol. kulitin mo na lang sila over the phone or punta ka sa office nila. mababait naman sila kausap.

^Same here sis! I feel guilty kasi I think I am getting carried away with invitations and my current budget is already double of my initial budget. Well because we had to also add 70 pcs =(

I told myself in the beginning that invitations is one thing I wont spend on. But right now, I cant help it!! Haaay part of the temptation kasi is when the printer told me they will give me bridal fair rate to upgrade my invitations and I know the price they are giving me is really good. The supplier's full letterpress prices are only half of the prices or Printsonalities and Write Impressions-- but mahal pa din. But I cannot turn down a good deal haha

our invites are for printing na!!! decided to get print city as our print supplier. my layout artist and print supplier are both very prompt and responsive kaya very smooth ang transaction namin. excited for the final outcome!!!

after 1 month mag follow up, nag bigay din siya ng first layout ng monogram. okay. hindi ko masyado nagustuhan so I asked kung pwede irevise some or kung may iba pa design,

now, December na, wala padin. kahit response manlang sa mga emails ko, wala.

Thanks sa advice sis bzbee naku medyo kami ang problema kasi may mga hinihintay pa akong names galing kay H2B, hindi siya maka decide  medyo nakaka stress
anyway, sabi nila kaya daw ipush ng end of week ng december.. sana nga
i'll visit their office on Wednesday.

had mine by print cafe - festival mall branch. they have classic and elegant designs - not that expensive too.

Ang ganda mag print ng WINK. Sa sobrang ganda, nag tanong ako if they print business cards. Hahaha. Ang ganda talaga.

We got 10% discount (print-ready). Ang downside lang IMO is that they charge an additional of 35 pesos for the colored envelopes. :O so instead, I bought from Office Warehouse (same size!) at P55/10 pcs
