How do you address doctors on the inner envelope? I've read na it's supposed to be "Doctors XXXXXX and XXXXX" as in you spell out the whole word? It looks kinda weird kasi and parang i just want to use Dr. hahaha

Sis maukris, use Ms. (It can be used for both married and unmarried women). My bridesmaids are all married except for 1, so i used Ms. with all their names.

hi sisses, just a quick survey: is the 5k, 50pcs printing and design package by Sweetscapes a good deal? Or can I just have them design it tapos hanap ako ng ibang printing shop? Walang emboss at walang gloss yung printing nila, you have to pay additional for that daw... I am torn between Sweetscapes and the usual Kenneth Uy invites. Sweetscapes kasi uso calligraphy and personalized, while Kenneth Uy is a more popular name that has laser cutting as well... Yung mga bet kong designs ni Kenneth Uy will also tap 5k, more or less for 50 pcs.... thanks much sisses...

sis dcpdane, we had kenneth uy invites.  inabangan namin sila magjoin sa bridal fair, kaya we were able to book the design that we wanted for 20% discount

hi sis, thanks for the input my MIL had kenneth uy rin kasi for her church wedding months back. very nice yung samples nila sa bridal fairs and good reviews naman sila.. napansin ko lang medyo malabo yung pagkakaprint sa monogram ng envelope nila MIL. baka isolated case. pero yun lang, the rest mukhang oks naman. wala naman reklamo MIL when dealing with them...

Girls question: when you receive an invitation for an overseas destination wedding, would you bring wrapped gifts pa?

Not naman to be picky but it's hard enough to fly the dress to and from the venue; so I'm not sure how I'd go about it if may ibang bitbit pa haha And I find any note or even mention of preferring cash in invitations uncouth pa naman

^For destination weddings, the couple can register for gifts somewhere. Then those gifts can be purchased by the guests in advance and delivered to a specified address. Some guests  prefer to give cash gifts. My brother had a destination wedding, and no one brought a wrapped gift on the day itself. =)

Thanks chili1113! We're not going for a registry kasi; we've both moved to our own flats and may gamit na talaga kami that we'll pool together (if anything, doble doble na furniture and appliances namin haha). But good to know that people didn't bring anything bulky na to the wedding

sis yan din original budget ko nung super start ng preps namin. kaso nung umattend na ako ng mga bridal fairs, yung mga elegant-looking, parang impossible sa budget ko. yung mga may laser cut nasa 100/pc eh. pero baka may mas mura sa divi or recto. yung 50 pcs ko, 5k ang usual quote sa akin.

oo nga e ang ironic, mga guys pa pala yung maarte sa ganitong details haha! nakakatuwa kasi mas nakikilala ko fiance ko because of this

divi-devoted ang family ko since tondo kami lumaki haha. nung debuts namin ng sis ko mga almost 10 years ago, divi ang invitation namin at maganda naman para sa taste namin noon. tanda ko tig-35php lang each or 25php. pero di ko lang alam na ngayon kung lumelevel na ba sila sa designs tulad ng mga nasa bridal fair... kaya baka di ko muna i-divi ang ibang parts ng kasal ko hehe

Ay ibang level ang kaartehan ni hubby kase literal na art director siya (yung work nya). Ang hirap humanap ng Photographer dito sa Pinas grabe kasi pag di niya type di namin pinupursue. Hanggang ngayon naghahanap parin ako..

Actually, nowadays,  it's really not that taboo to input if your preference is monetary.  You just have to put it in a way wherein it's still discreet.  2 of my friends who are based overseas had done these things. This is especially needed for  couples who are based overseas, or couples who had been living together and have their own homes.

And to answer your question, nope, I brought money and had put it in a congratulatory card.

What if most of your guest di pa naka attend ng event/wedding na may program, or pinaghandaan...
Sino ba ang makakapag control nun? Coord ba?
