Hi sis Chili1113. Again, thanks for recommending ever engraving this saturday pa pick upin ng mom ko tapos the envelopes nasa calligrapher pa din, this saturday din nya ibabalik sa ever. So maybe next week mapadala ng mom ko yung invitations for my guests na taga dito

Mica Samar is doing the calligraphy for my envelopes.. I know her personally that's why I chose her. She's good. You can check her works in her IG mica_s. Last time I checked I believe nasa website yung rates ni inkscribbler. Bit pricey but I bet they're really good.
If you want cheaper alternatives I can share you my calligrapher's details.

Hi girls! Question: for save-the-dates, how many months before the wedding are these usually sent out?

I'm actually thinking of creating a wedding website (kung sipagin ako, haha) instead of a Facebook event. Planning to use that as a "save the date" notice also for our guests.

Hi sis. Iba-iba ang sa amin. We sent out electronic save the dates almost a year before the wedding for those who are living abroad and will be flying in for the wedding. Actual save the date cards were couriered to them around 8 months before the wedding.

For our principal sponsors, when we formally asked them if they could stand in as our ninongs/ninangs, we gave them actual save the date cards. That was probably around 8 to 10 months before the wedding.

For everybody else, we created a Facebook event and announced our wedsite 6 months before the wedding. We didn't send out actual save the date cards to guests anymore. For guests who don't have FB accounts, we told them personally or had our parents inform their guests to save the date.

we sent out save-the-dates exactly one year from our actual wedding day. just a simple layout and no more print outs. sa facebook PM and viber lang isa isa. natuwa naman sila
kasi since we got engaged dami na nagtatanong when is the wedding and hindi sila sure if they are invited lol.

for the PS sinabihan namin sila personally and we might give a token along with the formal invitation when we have it na. around 3 months before the wedding siguro.

Hi reese, we mailed save the dates out about 7 months before the wedding. We included the website URL on the cards (since we didn't print out na all the travel/accommodations information).

^ thanks ladies! Appreciate your replies I'm meeting with my friend who'll do the calligraphy and design of our invites + save the dates. My wedding is in October and we're targeting to share the STDs by end of May or first week of June. Siguro naman this is enough time noh? All those who need to fly in have been informed din naman beforehand.

Hi, ako din, im currently waiting for the design na ng save the date ko. Wedding is this December pa pero for my guests na out of the country, they've been asking me when is our wedding na. Kahit nasabi ko na dati, may mga iba mga 5x ko na nasabihan, hindi nagsstick sa kanila. May mga iba naman from here na lagi nagttravel, so baka daw maitapat pa nila sa wedding ko since December vacation time paa ko. So hopefully by May masend ko na via facebook and viber lang din 😊 simple lang save the date ko, clean and elegant ang sabi ko, calligraphy font for our names 😊 i included na din dun yung venue namin since out of town kami para informed din sila na hindi sa manila or sa province ko 😊

^ sis funny but true. may iba rin akong friends na nakakalimutan yung date kahit nag send na ko ng STD. at least they remember the month though. lol
