got back last tues from our 5day hk trip. grabe super napagod kami. it started raining sa hk nung sunday till monday kaya ending, sakto paguwi namin from hk nilagnat si LO. na quarantine pa kami sa airport. now ok na si LO, sakin naman napasa yung fever. LOL.

Anyway, some tips, we bought our entrance tickets in advance via golden crown. super helpful to buy advance tickets if you're going to ngongping. super haba ng pila sa tickets palang, so pag dating namin dun tuloy tuloy na and konti nalang pinila namin, yung sa cable car ride na mismo which is fast moving naman. disney tickets din tuloy tuloy ka na sa entrance. yung sa peak tram, grabe suuuppperrr haba parin ng pila. walang pila sa bilihan ng tickets, dun sa train nila super haba and tagal ng pila. may kasama pa naman kaming 2 oldies and my LO so hirap talaga. and ang init pa.

sa macau trip naman namin, we had a bad experience sa cotai. suggest ko lang, always reserve time slot especially pauwi. since we bought our tickets sa golden crown, we got anytime/anyday sailing. dun na daw mismo sa cotai mag pa stamp ng preferred time. when we arrived sa terminal, walang pila sa bilihan ng tickets, so we were able to book the next available time. we didnt expect na pauwi pahirapan pala. around 8pm we arrived sa terminal pabalik ng HK, next available time na daw is 3am!!! grabe nagulat kami, parang bakit ganon naman. then we heard some filipinos saying na technique daw talaga yun dun para mapilitan mag check in sa mga hotel. only thing na advised nila samin we will be placed on stand by daw if there will be available trips daw but not guaranteed. eh pag kita namin sa pila ng nakastand by naku mang hihina ka talaga. but no choice but to line up narin. hubby tried going to macau terminal naman to check turbojet, may avail pa daw so pumila sya, kaya lang ang bilis magkaubusan ng trips, pag abot kay hubby pang 11:20pm na yung sched na avail. since nasa middle na kami ng pila sa stand by sabi namin wag na kumuha sa turbo. so bumalik na si hubby sa taipa. around 11pm, ayun pinapasok na nila lahat ng nasa stand by. di ko alam kung nag add ba sila ng trip (na sana mas maaga nila ginawa) or talagang totoo yun sabi ng iba na strategy lang nila yun. so tip, ALWAYS book your trip in advance. with exact date and time. super hassle pumila. from 8pm-11pm. awang awa ako kay LO ko. pati sa dad and mom ko.

^ Did you buy your ferry tickets from GC as well? I've read about the ubusan ng tickets during evenings here and on PEx kaya what we did was we got na rin our return ticket in HK pa lang. Nung kinuha namin ticket namin to Macau, meron na rin back to HK so we were able to book our preferred time in advance.

Ganun din ginawa namin. Sa HK terminal palang bumili na kami ng return ticket. Hindi kami sa GC bumili nun kahit sa New Yiu Fai kami nag-stay kasi tulog pa daw yung owners haha maaga kasi kami umalis nun para masulit yung Macau trip namin.

Anyone who stayed recently at Dragon Hostel? OK pa rin ba mga rooms dun? Nagrenovate kaya sila? Going back to HK this September and looking for other guesthouses to stay. Nagtaas na rin kasi sa Taisan where we always stay pero medyo luma na facilities kaya I'm looking for other options.

^how about sa golden crown sis or sa cosmic guesthouse. We stayed in cosmic last January and okay naman experience namin.

^Yes sis, kasama rin sa consideration ko yung Golden Crown, pero sa Cosmic, di masyado kasi sa Mirador Mansion sya. Medyo crowded kasi kaya matagal mag antay sa lift.

yes sissies sa GC narin namin nabili yung macau tickets namin. wrong move lang talaga, we thought kasi basta may hawak ka ng ticket ok na, yun pala need to reserve your preferred time. we got back sa apartment namin 1am na. super pagod. but ok narin kaysa naman 3am pa.

we booked our accommodation pala thru airbnb sa jordan. small apartment lang siya but ok naman hindi naman kami nahirapan 8pax all in all. dami rin kainan nearby so pag morning take out lang yung sister ko dun na kami sa apartment kumakain. saves a lot of time.

we were able to try pala yung scrambled eggs ng australian dairy, yummy nga siya.

Hi! I made this IT for my parents' trip to HK tom till Thursday. Di pa naman final since I have yet to book the tickets online via KLOOK. Kindly see naman if doable? My parents are both 60 years old na and semi tamad maglakad ng matagal. Hehe. They have been to Disneyland and OP in the US kaya ayaw na nila dun.

**I just found out na public holiday pala sa HK on July 1. Mas madami ba tao? Sarado ba ang mga MTR Ferry etc?

730PM flight back to Manila.

Is this doable? Hindi ba nakakapagod masyado for them?

Has anyone tried at Hotel Pandora (Ensuite B) at Nathan Road, Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Near Jordan MTR station.

My brother's family were booked last year at Silka seaview Hotel... Hindi ko carry ang mahal.

As I've checked at AirBnb, nasa 2,978 pesos ang per night sa Hotel Pandora, good for 4 persons na sya.
May cleaning fee nga lang sila.
We'll be staying for 6 days sana.

Anyone from our FN ladies tried this hostel?

^^ Sis from TST medyo nalayuan kami sa Avenue of stars, medyo mahaba-habang lakaran siya hehe.

Sa Ngong Ping naman sis, have your parents buy their tickets in advance either sa CTS or in GC kasi suuuuper haba ng pila sa Ngong Ping mismo. When they have their tickets in advance konting line na lang sa sakayan na lang ng cable car mismo.

^Ay ganun ba Hehe. If mag taxi na lang sila from the hotel and back? Tapos sis ask ko na din if sasakay sila sa TurboJet dun sa China Ferry Terminal going to Macau, pagpabalik ba ng Macau dun din ang baba nila sa same terminal? Or dun sa isa dun sa sa HK Island na terminal?

^ Mas convenient siguro sis mag taxi na lang from TST and then back.

When they buy their Macau tickets sis, buy na din sila ng ticket back to HK para sure na same terminal lang. Cotai Jet 'yung sinakyan namin and dun kami sa Sheun Wan Terminal back and forth. Pagbalik nila sis sa HK, remind them na lang to check sang terminal sila kasi dalawa ang ferry terminals sa Macau (China Ferry Terminal and Taipa Ferry Terminal) baka maligaw sila.

Wala bang 2days Tickets sold sa GC? Nakita ko kasi 1 day ticket lang.
Gusto kasi namin sulitin ang DL; birthday kasi ni LO

Kulangin po ba yung laman nun kung 6days kami?

^ 50$ sis ang deposit tapos 100$ ang initial. Kukulangin siya. 4 days kami (Macau pa 'yung one day dun), nag load kami ng 200$ may sumobrang konti lang.

sisses kahit normal weekdays mahaba pila sa bilihan ng tickets for ngong ping? saan po mas advisable bumili ng round trip tickets from hong kong to macau with scheduled time?

^Yung ginawa namin sa Macau sis 8am andun na kami sa terminal tapos bumili na kami nung ticket pati return ticket with scheduled time. Pinili namin around 12mn para masulit namin yung Macau.
