Will go around hkg with my husband (finally!) On the 15th to 17th. We're not going to dl, op, hindi rin priority ang shopping. Mas type ko picture picture na masasabing nasa hkg talaga kami. 

What can you suggest sisses? My husband will arrive on the 15th around 8am siguro. I told him diretso na lang kami sa np360 (yun yung may big buddha di ba) to maximize the time pero sabi nya punta daw muna sya hotel. E sa may central area yata hotel namin (will check later) and my colleague said it's quite far from the airport. Do you think ok lang to visit np360 in the afternoon? May magagawa pa ba kami after that or ubos oras na dun?

One more thing, I've been reading about octopus card and honestly, hindi ko maintindihan hahaha. Iba ba yung mtr sa pinaka main train nila? Sabi kasi dun sa site, "unlimited mtr rides" yung 2 kinds of tourist octopus card, na valid for 3 days.

^Kung wala naman kayong ibang gagawin that day aside from NP, you can go in the afternoon. Marami naman magagawa dun sa area na yun kasi after niyo sa NP, you can check Citygate.

^thanks sis for that. Actually wala pa kaming clear iti sa trip namin, nagreresearch pa lang. Non negotiable sa kin yung np360 and macau. Do we need 1 whole day in macau? Hindi naman kami magca casino, stroll lang, picture picture. Yung hotel pala namin sa may causeway bay area. Yung natanungan ko, medyo mahal daw train ride from airport to central station. Any tips which octopus card should we get? And are there other ways to get discounted tickets for the cable car going to the big buddha? Takot ako sa heights, kaya ok na sa kin yung standard.

^just get the regular Octopus card, wag na yung Tourist Octopus card. The Octopus card is like a debit card na you can use sa transpo ninyo i.e. MTR, bus, Star Ferry, Peak Tram, etc. Pwede nyo rin gamitin sa mga retail/grocery shops na nag-aaccept nito. Pag naubos yung laman ng card, mag top up lang kayo at any of the machines you'll find at most MTR stations. After your trip, just return the card sa airport (arrival area) and get your deposit of HKD50.00

Re airport to hotel, mahal if you take the Airport Express train all the way to Hong Kong station. Mas mura if you get on the MTR via Tung Chung but you'll have to take the airport bus to Tung Chung first if you go this route. Otherwise, take the Airport Express train to Tsing Yi (first stop) then transfer on the MTR to go all the way to Causeway Bay.

^^Kasya na sis 1 day sa Macau. Ganun din ginawa namin, di kami nag-casino tapos 8am nasa ferry station na kami then around12mn nakabalik na kami sa HK.

mga sisses, help naman. i'm torn between golden crown guesthouse at cosmic guesthouse. which is better? 2 days at 3 nights lang kami ng mother ko sa hongkong kaya skip na namin OP at DL. More on sightseeing kami like sa The Peak at Nanlian Garden, shopping sa night market at siyempre food trip. Saan mas maganda magstay? And kung may marecommend din kayo na ok na itinerary. 9 pm dating namin ng hongkong, may 2 days free kami and then after that the next day 8 am flight pabalik ng manila. any suggestions to maximize our time? thanks mga sisses. first time ko kasi and bale birthday gift ko to sa mother ko. diy lang ako. gusto ko na magbook ng hotel, sa september na kasi alis namin. thanks mga sisses!

hi there mga sis. my family emergency kame recently so umuwe muna kameng pinas and just arrive yesterday. pansin ko sa thread na ito maraming nagtatanong kesa sumasagot. hehe =) anyways, sa friday june 12 na alis namin so we just book dorsett mongkok. will follow their shuttle service route and magback read and research na lang nga.
i will give you my thoughts on our travel pagbalik namin.

^ Mura na yan, sis, if via PAL. We got ours before P8K din but April travel at di pa kasama doon yung terminal fee at airport tax.

Was able to buy Missha BB cream 50ml for only HKD 68 from HKD 218 in Sasa. What a steal!

Yat Lok napuntahan ko for the roast goose, roast pork and soya chicken. You have to order and eat quick but mabait naman sa amin na tourist kasi hindi kami minamadali unlike ka-share namin sa table na local; you share a table kasi maliit ang lugar. Hirap din hanapin. We went there before 6pm wala pa pila. Crispy skin ng goose and for the price it was reasonable. Roast pork nothing special, soya chicken was good too, tasty because it was yellow chicken.

next week trip namin sa hk, kaya lang as per accu weather maulan during our stay. huhu sana magbago pa forecast. sayang naman kasi baka mahirapan kami especially my parents seniors na kasi plus with LO pa.
