Prenup Outfits

Hi guys, we're having our prenup shoot in about 6 weeks. We do not have a stylist so we will have to think of our outfits ourselves. I am not a fashionista at all and neither is my fiance. Our shoot will be in an open location, zero props (we're not the type) so I'm planning to wear maybe 3-4 flowy dresses and also prepare maybe 1 casual outfit for when we ride a 4x4.

I already had my flowy dresses made, so problem ko nalang is yung casual outfit namin ni fiance, as well as his 3 outfits matching my dresses/ gowns. He refuses to wear a suit kasi summer shoot and super papawisin lang daw sya. What am i supposed to make him wear then? Hindi naman pwedeng naka dress ako tas medyo casual sya. Helppp Any suggestions would be welcome!

Hi sis! Don't you want to get a stylist? They can help you lessen the things that you need to think of and just enjoy the shoot

^It's beyond my budget eh. I'm already spending so much for the HMUA to come along since my shoot is over 3 days, not to mention the prenup video itself is 55k service fee, and I'm spending about 25k for my outfits alone.. Wala pa food, accommodations, and gas namin dyan. So getting a stylist is not an option for me. My prenup is actually more expensive than my SDE.

I found it helpful to have a stylist kasi while you're doing your wardrobe change, they prep your next shoot. I suggest prioritize lang sis. Looks like you're spending a lot na, get someone to help you.

^I consulted na my video team and they said kaya naman wala. Usually wala na nga daw pag far away shoots kasi extra gastos pa for the couple to bring one alone and they're already spending so much. Unfortunately wala talaga akong sinet aside na budget for a stylist so not an option talaga for me.

I'm not worried about setting up the next layouts rin kasi we have a lot of time (2.5 days shooting time halos) and all my layouts do not involve any props, just us changing clothes, HMU (if i want) and change of location lang talaga. It's a travelling shoot and we'll stop wherever we feel is nice to shoot.
I will bring along a HMUA for the 3 days though, even if it burns a hole in my pocket.

Hi sis sparkling jewel, where exactly is your location? did you push through with your Batanes prenup? or beach sa may Caramoan ba yun?  Are your dresses super formal? I don't know why it came to mind but  I just remembered the prenup of Oyo boy and Kristine Hermosa, si Kristin eh super formal and si Oyo boy wasn't.  Baka pwedi nyong gawin inspiration yun. hehe..  Maybe this would help   Attached is the link.

^Sis bonzaigirl, my location will be in Ilocos. As in all over Ilocos. haha  It will be a video so we want to capture the vastness of the different places. Mahilig yung team sa aerial.

kame naman, we did our research on the internet and we bookmarked the looks that we liked pero we found it sooooooo difficult to search for the pieces that we wanted. 
we spent more than 3 hours scouring malls pero all we bought was one dress. nakakapagod pala na masakit sa ulo. a part of me wishes tuloy to hire a stylist na lang....

^Fiance and I are scouring his closet this coming weekend, he's confident he has pieces to match my dresses naman daw. Pero i might still go shopping to add 1-2 outfits

We did not get a stylist because I do have a lot of outfits and I cannot justify the cost just to have someone dress us up. Sayang eh

Mine was complete then we hit a dead end with husband's outfits so we asked from a fashionista friend. The suggestions turned out well naman.

Tell you fiance to suck it up hehe he could remove the coat naman and fan himself and drink lots of water

We had our shoot summertime starting lunch. Imagine the heat! But we had fun and I didn't hear much complaint from my husband haha!

^Sana nga sis. Kasi yung fiance ko, nagpplan palang kami he's already complaining of the heat! :| I wish he would suck it up since we're only having one prenup anyway.... and we already paid for a good team, spent for a good location which cost massive out of town fees, i had dresses made, andami nang sacrifice in short.. i will hope and pray it turns out well!

BTW, you mentioned 3 flowy dresses mo? Do they have different cuts, lengths, and colors? I was thinking baka same layouts lang. You are also bringing extra clothes right?

We had 3 layouts but like 6 sets of clothes. I used all of my main outfits but my husband used 1 backup. Better to be ready pa din just in case?

Yes sis, lahat iba ibang color and cuts. Plus i might shop for another 2 outfits na mas casual just in case. Since my shoot is over 3 days and we have time to add random locations we see along the way, i will definitely need extra clothes. Thanks for the advice

Hi! Hope we can revive this thread! Nagpatahi ako ng 2 gowns sa Kamuning, tela (chiffon and gena) around Php 900 and labor is Php 2K medyo reasonable na. 1 week nila gagawin, will update once nakuha ko na sila tomorrow.

Sis, saan kaya makakapagawa ng cheap parachute gown, yung maganda liparin ng hangin? Anong klaseng tela kaya?

I'm also currently looking for pegs for our prenup shoot. hopefully divisoria will provide good options kasi we don't want to spend much in clothes since we'll be spending much on the logistics, food and lodging.

Hi mga sis, these are our planned outfits for the prenup:

1. White long sleeves + Khaki shorts/skirt (same kami)
2. Light blue off shoulder midi dress (mine) and white chino shorts + Light blue polo for him
3. Gown (will borrow from Mel) + suit (him_will rent from gardini)

Meron pa kami isang plan, which is denim pants for him and denim skirt for me. Ano kayang magandang top dun mag sis?

BTW, we bought clothes but yung mga nabili namin yung tipong magagamit namin after kaya mostly casual lang yung outfits. Our location is by the beach and yung isa parang lighthouse and old church. No props or set up. Wala din kami stylist, di na kaya ng budget.

^for the denim mini skirt sis, okay sya to match with white offshoulder cropped top and white sneakers. ☺ or di kaya black cropped top + black ankle boots.
Suggestions lang if you'll be having a beach prenup,better wear hair extensions.It requires minimal retouch time while still retaining that dramatic look.
Hair color is a plus and don't forget your nails. ☺ Goodluck!
