It is due to flight realignment daw. Any idea what's the reason behind?

There are a number of reasons, some generally are:

1. For international flights, usually realignment sa allocations of an airport to the airline. Airlines kase pay for the use of terminals (may tiering din dito, e.g. mas mahal pag nearer, and if normal people hours yung flight sched, etc.) - and some airlines might 'buy' extra schedule (e.g. expansion to that market), kaya there's a possibility na mabbump-off yung other airlines (usually LCCs) to a later/earlier sched -- or itatapon ka sa other terminal nearest to the original.

2. It could also be na nagrealign din cos hindi profitable yung route, so planes get pulled off that route - pwedeng adjustments lang within the day (e.g. from 5x a day, naging 2x na lang) complete cancellation, additional (or connecting) flights, or itatapon ka sa other terminal nearest to the original I experienced this one time on AirAsia when it cancelled Mnl-Dvo i was rebooked to a Mnl-Cebu-Dvo route

3. It could also be that may limitations yung airport, e.g. it is up for a scheduled maintenance or nasira dahil sa bagyo/lindol, so there would be temporary closures so adjust-adjust lahat ng airlines serving that destination.

And when planes get rescheduled (due to a number or a combination of factors), magccascade na yan sa other destinations within the airline network, e.g. Plane 123 flies Dvo-Cebu at 9-10am, then to Cebu-Mnl at 11am-12nn. But if Plane 123 gets readjusted, making Dvo-Cebu at 7-8am, then if Cebu-Mnl pa din sya, marrereadjust din siguro to 9-10am na -- OR ginawang Ceb-Bacolod pala at 9-10am and the 11-12nn Ceb-Mnl gets cancelled and will be served by Plane XYZ pero 1-2pm pa. Any adjustment usually affects all other flights and airport allocations - lalo na siguro on international code-sharing flights. So it could also be wala naman talagang anything wrong with our chosen sched or airline, but due to adjustments sa ibang flights/partner airlines, nadamay na din yung flight natin

Incheon samin on Nov.12. Resched to 13 pero I called to have it changed to Nov. 11 kasi we have a flight going to jeju on the 13th. So additional booking for accomodation pa. And walang free tix. Siguro kasi yung papunta lang ang na-reschedule. Pero super hassle pa rin. Ayun. Heads up na lang. Sayang kasi ang mga booking. Or any additional booking lalo na if you're on a budget. Yung officemates ko na going to Japan naka-hold ang mga for booking sa hotels gawa nito.

Sis, a fellow gtalker, papunta lang din ang naresched ng 1 day pero may free tix pa rin sila. Sa email ba na nareceived mo may mga options silang ni-mention? May ibang agent kasi hindi aware sa free tix, tulad ng unang kong nakausap, kelangan pa nila idouble check.

Nong una, di ko rin masyado na gets yong sinabi ng fellow gtalker natin na may free tix bukod sa full refund or rebook. Automatic daw yon pag namoved ng 1 day, may complimentary 1-way or RT travel vouchers sila binibigay.

then nag text sila ng flight schedule realignment, same date alis Manila medyo na adjust lang oras tapos hindi ko napansin na yung Seoul-Manila naging June 19 na, kahapon ko lang nakita nung nag add baggage ako, eh nag accept na ako dun sa realignment nila, nag text na ako...hotel booking namin ay hanggang June 18 lang, then check ko sched sa website unavailable talaga lahat ng June 18, pwede pa ba sila tawagan na ibalik sa June 18 instead na June 19?

May i ask po: di ba aside from our handcarry baggage na 7kg, we are allowed one shoulder bag? Pwede kaya na medyo malaki yung shoulder bag ko? Yung parang stylish ecobag na hindi makapal (pero palapad). Dun ko na lang sana lagay yung toiletries and gadgets ko. I'll make sure na lang na di mabigat?

Yes, usually I have a backpack + malaking ecobag na may pasalubong, keri naman sa kanila na dalhin - or i just don't appear na nabibigatan hehe if your toiletries have lotion/liquid items, just make sure na hindi lalagpas ng 100ml each item. CAAP is kinda strict about it (they are the ones who man the xray part, not the airline)

Sissies, dito ko ba nabasa na kapag di kayo tuloy sa trip, you can refund kahit yung tax or fee? I am planning to move my flight pabalik ng manila, iniisip ko kung kuha na lang ako new sched then parefund ko yung sa orig flight ko?

PS: have you hesrd about yung mga passengers na pumupunya sa airport ng maaga to ask kung pwede sila sumakay sa earlier flight on the same day? May extra charge ba yun?

^haven't experience na pinasakay ng maaga.. unlike sa  PAL pwede..

regarding refunds if valid ang reason and with proof then may refund yan. If wala nothing din..

Hi sis FOURever I think you're referring sa standby yung may confirmed flight ka pero mag take ka ng earlier flight same day.  Sa PAL ang alam ko meron pero sa CebuPac wala din sa pagkaka alam ko. If you do it they will consider it as rebooking/reschedule which is subject to a change fee and fare difference if there's any.

Hi. Naranasan ko na makasakay sa mas maagang flight. Ginagawa ko iyan pag galing ako legaspi papuntang manila. Usually iyong past 12 noon ang flight ko pero pag before 9 am nasa airport na ako, nagrerequest ako na kung pwede sa past 9 am flight ako sumakay. Pag may bakante, pumapayag naman mga cebu pac personnel. Walang extra charge.

Pwede rin sa Cebupacific na magpalipat sa early flight, as long as hindi puno. Naka-try na kami.

Wait nyo muna mag close check-in time ng earlier flight, mga sis. Pag close na, saka kayo lumapit sa counter at ask kung pwede kayo sumakay doon. Papayag naman ang mga taga-cebu pac kung may bakante pa. Present mo lang ticket mo at bibigyan ka na nila ng boarding pass. Wala na additional payment.

pwede kaya to sa international  flight?If ever kasi [textspeak!] earlier flight is 6:30 am e ang flight namen is 9:25 am. Worth it kaya magrisk na pumunta ng maaga sa airport?
