quick question po, mag book ako ng Cebupac Ticket ngayun for Incheon or Osaka sa Passport details ng sister ko Philippine Passport lalagay ko ngayun pero pag alis nila next year June 2016 baka NZ passport ng hawak nya kase approved ng citizenship nya wala ba issue yun? sa CebuPac or sa Immigration pag alis nya from Manila? thanks!

^I think yes sis, tapos na. June 2016-September 2016 ang promo nila now.

Mukha ngang tapos na pero parang hindi sila nag promo nang march 2016 for japan. Siguro hindi talaga kasama japan sa sale for that period kasi sakura season.

Talking of documents, CebPac just came out with an advisory regarding use of fraudulent tickets/falsified documents.

CEB Advisory – Fraudulent Use of Tickets and Presentation of Falsified Documents

​Cebu Pacific (CEB) recently intercepted passengers who attempted to use tickets booked in the name of other persons. These passengers presented fake identification cards which were allegedly provided by unauthorized travel agencies who sold them confirmed Cebu Pacific itineraries with bookings under different names.

CEB has demanded travel agencies involved to cease and desist from engaging in these unlawful acts as soon as possible. CEB has also reported to the Philippine National Police (PNP) passengers who presented fake IDs in an attempt to use tickets booked in the name of other guests.

CEB reminds the travelling public that passengers and travel agencies who engage in these fraudulent transactions may be charged with civil and criminal actions under existing laws, and may face imprisonment of up to 20 years.

I wonder why ganun ang ginagawa ng mga travel agencies. Sila kaya itong mga nagbubulk buy sa mga travel expo?

Last travel expo kasi andaming nag-aabang sa batanes and then yung mga nauna sa pila abot 100 ang binibili. Not sa cebpac obviously.

^^ i read in one FB forum na the punishment includes lifetime ban sa pagsakay sa Cebu Pacific + pinababa talaga sila ng plane. Nakakahiya yun ha. To save a few thousands, kahihiyan ang katapat.

Possible din na sila yung nakabili ng tickets during seat sales (na alam naman natin na most of the time e anlayo pa ng travel dates), tapos biglang di sila matutuloy or merong mga di makakasama sa group. So these people try to avoid losses (since non-refundable ang promo fare) by selling those tickets and providing fake IDs to the buyers.

Any idea kung kelan magsesale ang cebupac na parang piso fare nila ulit? I was waitin for nov 1 kaso wala e. 50% off lang. Ano ba yung kaparehas ng piso fare? Yung mga all in na nila na mga 3000 yun ba yung parang piso fare dati?

^babawi daw sila this year from lugi last year. Remember the overbooked seats issue in CebPac?

they are quite good at expanding to provide very low cost fees compared to PAL or other airlines. Ok na din na pabawiin natin sila for better rates next year! hehe!
