Just had my CAS...and we're having a healthy baby boy Ü 

Nagtago lang nung last part, kinlose ang legs and tinakpan ang mukha sabay talikod. Supladito! Haha. But i'm so relieved na okay naman lahat ng organs, fingers, toes... kagabi kasi kinakabahan na excited ako. I can't sleep! Napanaginipan ko pa. Hahaha, ang OA lang.

first post here!  I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and had my CAS at 24 weeks.  All is well and we are having a baby boy!!

will do my OGTT naman next week.. haay dito ako kinakabahan... hope all will be okay!

my vitamins are Obimin+, Trihemic and Calciumade.

hello first time here! currently on my 211st weeks.. hindi pa ko nagpa CAS maybe this week..
@foxlady: ako din naka set na yung mind ko sa chinese gen but then nagka prob si HMO..
Taga Valenzuela pa naman ako so need to find another hospital. Si OB kasi Chinese and Asian Hospital lang handle nya..

Anyone makaprovide ng feedback sa Our Lady of Fatima Medical Center Valenzuela?

I had my 2nd Color Flow Doppler Ultrasound last weekend at Medical City.  Sadly, the result was worse than the first one.  The myoma is blocking the blood flow towards my baby.  And since myoma is growing, there's a tendency na pigilan din nya ang growth ni baby Good news is as of last weekend, normal pa rin ang weight and size ni baby for her age.  Pero kailangan akong i-ultrasound weekly to monitor her, magastos pero para sa baby ko... I'll do anything and everything.

Walang niresetang gamot si OB, talagang monitoring lang.  If the situation gets worse, kailangan ng ilabas si baby, she'll be 32 weeks this coming Friday.  Aside from monitoring, pinagpahinga na rin ako ni OB from work.  I mean, work from home na ko.. to at least mabawasan ang stress ng pag-commute and also para makatulog ng 8-10 hrs a day.  Kailangan ding imonitor ang kicks and movements ni baby, at least 10 kicks/day.  Kapag hindi daw na-meet, pacheck up daw ako agad kay OB.  Thank God, sobrang likot ni baby since the last ultrasound.  Ramdam na ramdam ko sya and very obvious ang "pag-alon" nya sa tummy ko 

Hopefully may improvement sa next doppler ko... ayaw ko pa syang lumabas sana man lang umabot kami kahit 37 weeks....

Sis, aabot yan. Let's pray na di na lumaki yung myoma mo. Ako meron din pero buti na lang maliliit. Di ko lang sure kung tatanggalin yun ni OB kasabay ng panganganak ko.

Natanong mo na si OB mo kung safe tanggalin ang myoma during delivery?
Sabi kasi sa kin ni OB, kahit daw ma-CS ako, hindi  nya tatanggalin ang myoma kasi delikado daw... hindi ko alam kung general practice yun or sya lang may ayaw.

Actually, she asked me prepare 2 bags of blood for possible blood transfusion once I give birth.

Ako rin may myoma. at 19weeks pinag iron supplement na ako ni OB. wala pa naman nabanggit na magprepare ng blood, pero possibility daw ang CS at transfusion.

ioobserve pa yung myoma..

sana okay lahat at gusto ko rin sana na NSD at no complications as much as possible..

I had my 3rd Doppler Ultrasound yesterday and this time, lahat ng hindi magandang results nung first 2.. lahat nawala... prayers really do work!  Thank you sisses for all the support and prayers... sobrang salamat talaga.

2 sonologists ang gumawa ng procedure.. I think SOP ata sa Medical City na laging 2 ang nag uultrasound. 
The only difference this time, 2x nilang ginawa ang ultrasound kasi the first one, walang nakitang diperensya everything was normal.  And since, walang nakitang abnormality si Sono1...he asked Sono2 na icheck maigi.. Sono2 said everything was ok talaga.  Even the notching which is a sign of pre-eclampsia.. wala...

Prayers.. prayers.. prayers... and of course I also did my part... malaking tulong din siguro na nabawas sa daily routine ko ang  total of 3.5 hrs travel time per day going and coming to/from work. 

Sana magtuloy tuloy na ang magandang condition namin ni baby ko

Mga sis may idea naba kayo ilang weeks before for expected delivery date dapat mag leave na from work? my edd is nov 11.. so as early as now i am thinking of leaves na dapat ko itake before manganak.

^Yung iba ang ginagawa two weeks before. Sa case ko, 1 week before my edd yung inapply kong maternity leave. Gusto ko sagarin para mas matagal yung time kahit papano after birth.

sisses saan kayo nagpa-CAS? Ang hirap kasi kaparamihan hindi sila nag-aacept pag holiday. sa New World sabi isan patient lang dw per day. and kailangang kalangan ba talaga to? thanks.

Sis lovelymaeve, I think at least once kailangan ng CAS but of course with your OB's advice.  I had mine sa New World SM Annex, P1500.00.

@lovelymaeve - alam ko nagreply na ko sa post mo but i think the moderator deleted it for text speak daw yata. Anyway, I had mine in New World Makati near Makati Medical Center for P1500.  As far as I know, CAS is optional but for high risk pregnancies, if I'm not mistaken, including those who got pregnant at age 35, OBs will advised their patient to have it. But if your pregnancy is not high -risk it's optional. Better ask your OB sis. 

By the ways, to other sissies, what are the vaccines your OB has given you as of this time? Did you get the Anti-tetanus vaccine? Also, have you discuss your birth plans to your OB?

Steroids - 2
Pampakapit - 1 lang.. di ko kinaya ang presyo kaya nag-stick ako sa oral meds

@ foxlady - 3 shots ang anti-tetanus mo? ako wala pa kahit isa. Birth plans sis, kung ano yung gusto mong method. Ako kasi gusto ko talaga normal without epidural. Told it with my OB several times but i'm not sure if she's taking me seriously. Kaya sa next visit ko sa kanya i-discuss ko na talaga yung gusto kong birthing method at anong mga option sa akin sa makati med. I want to give birth via NSD without epidural or any pain medication unless doing so will put my baby and me at risk. Sana magkasundo kami.
