Parkwood Playschool

Hi Sissies,

I'm a newbie here. I just want to ask if meron dito na sa Parkwood nag aral or nag aaral ang kids? I visited and looks very promising yung program nila. Gusto ko lang sana mag gather ng info from experience nyo.. The only thing that makes me hesistate e nalaman ko kasi working palang sila to get Dep Ed accreditation/recognition. DI kaya magkaproblem sya pag lumipat sa ibang big schools since Parkwood is preschool only?

Baka me idea kayo mga sis.. Or suggest a good preschool near Countryside/Rosario  area. I ve been to Woodstock, Our lady of woods, ANTS already pero parang mas bet ko Parkwood.. Hay pls help me. Thanks in advance

hi sis. i too considered PP nung naghahanap ako ng preschool for my son. nice nga feedback sa kanya, kaso malayo masyado for us. so hindi kami natuloy dyan pero i enrolled my son sa school na relatively bago pa din. wala pa din Dep Ed accreditation. we raised this concern during their PTA meeting and we were told that it takes time to get that, may requirements daw kasi kailangan ma-fullfill yung school before sila ma-accredit. anyway, we spent 3 years in that school wala naman kaming naging problem when my son transferred to grade school na. so if you really like to PP for your child and having no Dep-Ed accreditation is your only concern, go ahead with PP na lang, especially if it's very accessible to your home. in my experience, hindi naman pansin masyado yung preschool pagpasok ng grade school eh, as long as may 1 year kang preschool na report card, makapasa anak mo sa entrance exam nila, they'd accept your child.

Hi Sis, okay naman ang PP except location, katabi kasi welding shop tas dental office and sumunod gasolinahan. Wala din silang fire exit. They claim din na progressive school sila. But from what I learned, hindi naman. Ang pagkakaalam ko kasi dapat ang progressive is child centered. Yung sinasabi nilang one-on-one time nila, sa workbook lang pala nangyayari yun. Like kung advance and anak mo and he already know yung numbers, during one-on-one time, hindi tuturuan ng more yung bata. tutulungan lang sagutin yung worksheet. Very disappointed. Yung owner/admin, hindi din ganun kaopen minded sa suggestions ng parents. Bawal din ang Christmas party but meron highlight and trick or treat. My son have been asking me about the story of Christmas kasi hindi man lang magkwento ang teachers. Bawal daw kasi. Medyo hindi approved ng head kahit nung magsuggest sila that they do Xmas. We tried to push this years Christmas party but in the end, sa labas kami ng school kumain. Imagine, me mga pinag aralan din ang mga parents.  Nagleave pa sa trabaho to be with your Child's Xmas get together, dahil minsan lang sila maging bata pero pinagtabuyan kayo and sa labas kumain. Sa tabi ng kalsada, walang electric fan (suggested a lot of times even when someone is willing to donate) at 12 noon.

I am planning to enroll my 20 months old daughter there at Parkwoods Play School. Sana ok.
