Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start this thread because I want to ask about the process of getting SSS. I just recently started working and already have the SSS number but I don't have the ID yet. Can someone please help me out on how to get the SSS ID the right way? Thank you...

hi newsoul, bring with you the application form for SSS ID (download on their website) and submit together with your valid ID at any nearest SSS office. You will be ask to pay the applicable fee, have your photo and fingerprint taken and wait for your ID to be delivered on your address.

^ sis kahit saang sss branch pala pwede? Good to know. Buti napadaan ako sa thread na to haha all the while kasi I thought sa main branch lang pwede e malayo sa east avenue pa yata sa QC. Since may sss sa binondo dun na lang ako punta hehe.

hi mga sis, pa help naman baka may nakakaalam ng sagot. my aunt who is in US asked me to inquire about her sss pension. napasilip ko naman and sabi "eligible for pension" bali monthly pension ang labas. 15 years siyang nagbabayad sa sss nung nandito pa siya. but since nasa US siya gusto niya sana na gawing lumpsum ang pagclaim ng benefit niya instead of monthly pension. pwede ba yun?

yes sis, pwede yun..i know someone who did the same..i just dont know how can she apply one since she's abroad:)

^^pwede ata at dun sa Annual Confirmation of Pensioner (ACOP) at dun sya mag apply at may form atang fill up.

^ and ^^ thanks mga sis! willing siya umuwi to process. she wants to make sure na may makuha siya para hindi sayang yung paguwi niya

naku i'm not sure how long will is the SLA before the lump sum amount will be release.

^siguro after 6 months kasi yung father ko after six months pa narelease yung pension nya after nyang mag apply nung nag 60 years old sya at nag pa recompute sya kasi 36 years syang nag work tapos 34 years lang ang sa computation ng SSS.

^ and ^^ need ba na siya mismo magclaim ng check? kasi kung uuwi aunt ko siguro mga one month siya dito max na yun. baka pwede representative?

^sis, bali hindi din ba pinili ng father mo na monthly pension? lumpsum din kinuha niya?
