@jazrina -sis, un nga sabi ng iba natanungan ko. Other lying-ins kasi have more expensive packages pero midwife lang pala magpapaanak. Will have my check-up maybe next week and will check out the facilities of the lying-in.

I just gave birth last Oct. 6, 2014 sa St. Raphael Foundation and Medical Center sa Mabalacat City, Pampanga and my OB is Dr. Donita Bacud. Meron din syang lying-in, pero I choose to gave birth sa hospital because it was my first pregnancy so medyo nakakatakot. Binayaran lang namin is 15K plus with Philhealth, it was induced or forced labor. 2 days ako nasa hospital, so kung 1 day lang mas mura pa. It was NSD, and sa private room ako. For CS I think it will range from 20K pataas.

Sis ranielli! Ang mura naman manganak sa inyo. Pero pang government hospital lang yan dito sa qc. Huhuhu. I have heard scary labor stories from government hospitals. Para daw silang kinakatay and not compassionate mga tao. Pero kung 1st baby nga, maganda sa hospital. Maganda lang madaming options. Hehe

Southern Luzon Hospital namin plan since dun work si hubby. Quote na binigay ni OB ay 50-60K for normal delivery and 80-110k for CS. Based yan sa hospital rates (where OB has no control of, sa PF nya lang siya may control, hehe). Kaya nga kinakausap ko na si baby ngayon na magnormal delivery kami at kung kaya, no epidural (wishful thinking haha).

Hello mga sis! Update on my previous post. I just had my check-up with my ob, this time sa clinic nya sa lying-in in cubao. Ang ganda! Ang linis. Na at home ako agad. Im considering painless delivery there (20k compared to 40k sa delgado) pero we are still saving up for cs kasi prone kami magkakapatid sa big babies (sisters had gdm, fingers crossed sana hindi ako!)

Sis foxlady, sino ob mo sa chinese gen? Private room ba yang qoute sayo? Mine, I gave birth last yr. June 2014 sa chinese gen din. Total bill ko including of total of 34k payward nga lang but with aircon na din 3 nights, almost 4 days.

Dito naman sa Cebu, if sa Chong Hua sabi ng OB ko ay 40-50k for normal with her pf na. Di ko pa na ask ang CS. Plus 15-20k if may epidural.

my OB in UST quoted Php70-80K for normal delivery, kasama na ang simple room dun (hindi ko lang na-clarify if that simple room is private na)

kapag CS naman daw around Php120K

yan eh if everything is normal. Pag may complications si baby, tataas pa daw.

I gave birth in Manila Adventist nung March via repeat CS. Ang package nila for uncomplicated CS is 50k sa ward kasama na newborn screening ni baby. We paid around 56k ata kasi nagmorphine ako dahil hindi tumalab yung spinal anaesthesia. I had a really nice experience, the staff were very kind and maayos ang ward since private hosp naman sila.

^ I am planning to give birth at VT Maternity Hospital in Marikina. di pa ako nagpapaquote sa OB ko, pero my cousin also gave birth there 35k ang binayaran niya.. Magkaiba kami ng OB so, di ko sure kung pareho lang ang charges.

Yung isang high school batchmate ko nanganak din sa VT recently. Nagtanong ako kung magkano ang total ng binayaran niya: ang sabi niya 50k scheduled CS, kasama na ang pedia at included na ang Philhealth deductions. Same kami ng OB, kaya sa tingin ko, dapat mga 50k ang ihanda namin.

Quote sakin ng OB ko is 80k for NSD (all in na sya I think) at St. Luke's QC. Kaso yung quote nya is just based on her previous patients. Yan daw kasi yung normal na binabayaran ng patients nya with no complications.

Would you know if mura sya or mahal sya for a private room?

Hi sis abigrace! May I know sino OB mo sa delgado? Mukhang mas affordable si OB mo kasi ang quote ni OB sa akin sa Delgado is 80k...32 weeks na ako and need ko talaga makahanap ng affordable OB...thanks!
