For me sis blackgreen ok lang din ang lunch reception, it can still be as romantic as dinner. Baka you can adjust by changing attire, gusto niyo ba talaga naka-suit? baka pwedeng minus the suit pero formal pa rin. sad din kasi kung maraming friends na hindi makaka-punta, hindi ka rin naman pwedeng magtampo kasi every leave day counts. but may advantage din un, bawas sa cost. hahaha.. ang mean lang!

 sis belle_v2g me too! after more than a year of preparations, 4 months to go nalang at napapadalas ang wedding nightmares ko.. and just when I thought sobrang smooth ng wedding preps namin biglang may stress. mukhang we need to change venue. nakakaiyak na!

Where is your venue sis and why do you need to change?
Funny yung nightmare na yon. In total fairness, di ko sya makalimutan. Usually when I experience these, di ko na maalala when I wake up. What happened is I had my wedding daw sa bukid. Umulan so nag alisan mga guests. Hahahah! Tapos my host was wearing white gown at mas maganda pa sakin. Shots ng photographer ko puro reject. Tapos late na wala pang food. Omg.. total failure talaga! Pero I don't remember being grumpy, ang cool ko pa daw nung araw na yon as in "I chose to fully let go" nakaka inis! Hahahah! Ayoko na ng ganung nightmare.

belle_v2g, i can't help but laugh at your description especially the "fully let go" part! i can relate because u had them, too. now, not so much. i wonder if they'll come back closer to the wedding

2 months na lang but plenty of things to do.  can't wait til this prep is over. but I'm more of excited sa thought na uuwi kami ng MNL.

Sis akesanchez, thank you. Lunch na rin final decision namin. 90% ng guests gusto lunch. Hahaha.. Yun sa attire na lang ang kelangan namin iadjust. Sabi kasi sa dress code thread pag walang tie semi-formal yun, so I need to describe na lang siguro sa mga guests anong attire gusto namin. Lagay ko na lang sa website ang what to wear na gusto namin. Hahaha..

Why do you need to change your venue sis? Ano naging problem?

Nakakatakot ang mga nightmares niyo! So far, I haven't had one. Hopefully, wala talaga because I get really horrible nightmares. As in habulan and patayan level na hindi nakakatuwa. Haha!

natawa ako sa habulan and patayan lol!! sis caleeice natatawa ako nasa panaginip ko ang host naten ay naka white gown pa daw. (I'm pretty sure she won't do that sa actual though)

Crazy if she would do that! Haha. By the way, thanks for recommending our host! I just found out from my cousin that she didn't get to meet the host which is included in our OTD package. She only met her emcee on the wedding day itself. That won't work for me though because I want my fiancé and I to meet and get to know all our suppliers and establish some level of familiarity with them before the wedding. So I'm super happy that I followed my instinct and booked our host!

We found out na maraming renovations na gagawin, we're booked sa ville sommet. During our ocular last year, ang sabi nila was they were planning that renovation that same year, I don't know what happened kung bakit hindi natuloy nun and biglang ngayon nila gagawin. Ang sabi samen small portion of the garden lang biglang when I let our wedding coord take over, sobrang dami pala. In-advice na niya ko na i-ready sarili ko for a change of venue kasi for her malabo talaga. I trust her naman kaya ayun, stress! 😭

Ako naman mga wedding nightmares ko yung tipong biglang hindi sisipot si h2b, sinabi ko yun sa kanya, he told me imposibleng mangyari yun baka na-traffic lang daw siya. Hahaha..

^grabe naman that kind of stress they gave you sis.. pero buti na lang you have enough time pa to prepare and move your reception to another venue. i hope everything will be smooth na after this.
did ville sommet gave you a refund?

Buti nalang din hindi peak season for weddings ang date namin, kaya bawas sa stress.. My wedding coord will work on it, pero dapat lang ibigay nila ang full refund kasi fault nila yun. Ayaw namin i-risk yung more than 1 year of planning namin tas masisira lang sa panget na ambiance dahil sa renovations nila.

^Hassle naman sis. Hope you'll be able to find your new venue soon and that your current one doesn't give you additional reasons to stress you out.

hi mga sis, ask ko lang mga ilang months yung allowance niyo sa pag papagawa ng wedding gown? for December bride masyado bang maaga pag nagpa sukat na ako ngayon April? thanks!

^hi sis miah! It depends sa couturier mo. Since peak season yun December mas okay na makakuha ka na ng slot sa kaniya baka kasi sabihin madami na sila customers di ka na ma-aaccommodate.

Hi ladies! Chika lang, we'll be going to the Discovery Weekend this Fri-Sat. Nakakatawa lang kasi we were supposed to attend a pre-cana seminar at San Agustin Church instead kasi it's cheaper and I really don't want to be away from our son for 2 whole days. What can I say, clingy mom ako and he's never spent more than a night away from me since he was born haha. 

So ayun, I was supposed to ask for an endorsement for the pre-cana from Santuario de San Antonio, aba hindi daw sila nageendorse sa ibang church/organization, dapat daw sa accreedited lang nila. E we ran out of slots na for the CEFAM pre-cana, their accredited seminar, so no choice but to panic and book the Discovery Weekend kagad kasi yun nalang yung may slot. Pinagalitan pa ko nung secretary (San Antonio brides, kilala niyo na yun haha) kasi daw kabilin-bilinan niya na unahing magpareserve for the seminar.

mga sis question. nag avail ako ng video package with SDE kaso lately naisip ko talaga magtipid sa wedding. originally kasi, morning ceremony ang gusto ko para sana wala ng gastos like sa sounds and lights, mobile bar etc.. kaso sabi ng videographer, mahirap daw pag umaga kasi hindi na halos makita yung SDE since maliwanag, hindi kaya ng projector.

so iniisip ko na wag na lang talaga i-play yung SDE namin, i-upload ko na lang sa mga fb accounts namin ni H2B after the wedding. in that case we no longer need to rent projector. tapos masusunod ko pa yung original plan namin na morning ceremony.

tingin nyo mga sis, ok lang yun? kayo gano ba ka-important yung SDE para sa inyo mga sis?

^How important that the SDE gets shown is actually up to you. If you won't show it lang during the reception itself, don't get disappointed that there is not as much feedback/ excitement about it as you thought it would have after you uploaded it to fb. Kasi elderly people don't go fb naman a lot. And a lot of even younger people aren't as active as we are on their social networks. They won't go online just to look for your video. So yun lang naiisip ko, dont expect that when you see the guests again lahat sila nakita yung video mo at pag uusapan. Baka hindi.

Wala bang way to dim the venue while you show the SDE? A huge part of the cost that goes into it is because same-day processing sya. So more stress and pressure for the team. If possible, good to be able to show it padin day of the wedding so all the guests see it and its one of the entertainment mo nadin during the program. Unless you have a lot of bands, avps etc to show instead then maybe you can skip it.
