^if not flower stands sis, anong gagamitin mo?

we're going to drape the side of the pews with tulle and then nakatali lang dun yung flowers. minimal flowers lang kami (since i'm not a fan of mga ganun).

So naka set up na yung guest tables. Ang may separate seat lang for the ceremony is mga Principal and secondary sponsors. Di ko magagawa yung may nakasabit lang sa gilid ng chairs like sa nakikita ko sa pinterest. i thought of making parang musical notes na lang instead of flowers sa aisles dahil music theme yung wedding namin but then after ng kasal di na sya magagamit unlike pag flowers pwede ma uwi kahit papaano. So pag iisipan pang mabuti. Hehe.

Ah i see. gets gets. siguro you can make use of the flower stands na din, but still pwede mo pa yun icustomize and incorporate mo your wedding theme. di kase ako personally mahilig sa bulaklak, hehe.

All suppliers booked and nakapag downpayment na.

Gusto namin formal attire, so boys coat and tie girls long gown.

Appreciate all your inputs mga sis. Thank you.

^sunday ba wedding nyo sis? I'd say a lunch reception can be as romantic as a night event depende na lang kung pano ang feel ng venue, and ng event itself. Also, if you're concerned na baka mabore sila, then dun papasok ang reception program nyo. Besides mga kaibigan nyo naman mga guests nyo so if mabore man sila wala silang choice! Lol.

Pwede mo rin iconsider nga na magsurvey sa mga guests nyo if magstay ba sila or uuwi din sila. Ang downside lang nito is kayo pa ang mag aadjust for them. kung mahahassle pa kayo sa pag adjust ng time for your venue and suppliers etc, i don't think worth it yun. For me lang ha, it's your day so do whatever you please :)

^^sis ako din Sunday evening ang wedding namin in Antipolo.  Though pwedeng pwede pa naman din talaga umuwi ang mga bisita, noon pa nag heads up na talaga kami sa kanila kasi we are serving alcohol and we expect the reception to last until midnight.

Most of them nagsabi na that they'll be on leave kina-Mondayan. Some will also stay overnight in Antipolo. tama, it'll depend on the program for them to stay.  We are having a band and then rockeoke latter part of program.

Thanks mga sis. Yes, Sunday yun wedding namin. Mukhang romantic naman yun venue and kaya yun Forest House din naman napili namin for its feel. For the program naman, we will only have a short program more on kainan nga etong event. Wala din kami kinuhang performers. Ceremony, picture taking, AVP, trivia game, cake cutting, toast, speech, SDE. Meron daw na hindi yan makaka aattend kasi hassle for them.

Sis mag survey ka kaya among invitees or mind condition mo na sila early on na Sunday evening ang reception alam mong may mahahasale but thats what you want and siempre you want them to be there. Parang ganyan. Hehe. just to get a feel if they will stay nga ba if dinner reception.

Meron talaga sis. Let them not attend if they feel na mahahassle sila. Choice naman nila yun.

Sunday wedding din kami. Initially, ang main criteria ko for a wedding date was gusto ko holiday sya. So that every year when we celebrate our anniversary, eh walang work so we could go out of town, or something. But then with the wedding celebration we had in mind, sinakto na lang namin ng Sunday yung wedding, tapos kinabukasan yung holiday. This decision though was made prior to anything.

Hahaha.. Siguro I will have an answer to that after sumagot ni Forest House regarding ventilation. Na-brought up kasi ulit yun lunch vs dinner, kasi yun concern na naka coat and tie guests tapos mainit kasi lunch dahil di aircon yun venue.

Sa bagay most restos in baguio naman walang aircon. But then weigh mo na lang what you really want. For now siguro ask your suppliers na lang din if possible na imove yung time ng party. If lenient naman sila with that baka mas madali ka makapagdecide.

sa min sis yung nahirapan kami idecide is if lunch or dinner ang reception. mahirap nga kasi umuwi if dinner and mainit naman if lunch. however, h2b decided it to be a dinner event pero hanggang 9pm lang para hindi masyadong antukin ang mga kids and mahassle sa pag-uwi mga bisita.

Siguro lahat sila inisip uuwi agad after lunch.

blackgreen, is it possible for you to have the wedding on Saturday night instead?

I wouldn't take it personally naman if they prefer a Sunday lunch so they won't have to take additional leave -- I think the fact that they're willing to travel so far shows that they really want to be there for you. :) Every day off counts when you have a busy year -- I'm flying 7 hours on a Friday night in November to be at my friend's Saturday night wedding, and then I'm flying home on Sunday para I don't have to take time off. Super stressful but I don't really have a choice because I'm rapidly running out of leave days; if she got married on the Sunday I might not have been able to make it.

^hindi pwede sis eh. Non-negotiable namin yun date since yun date ng anniv namin as bf-gf. Thanks for your suggestion.

I will ask na lang our venue na kung pwede mag provide ng ventilation para di maging mainit and siguro we will tone down the dress code para di naman uncomfortable for them na daytime wedding pero coat and tie. hahahaha

You're having a Baguio wedding, right? I think daytime formal weddings are lovely as long as the temperature is comfortable :)
