Did anyone go to the fair over the weekend? Grabe, inquired with Christine Ong-Te events for the heck of it, na-curious lang ako though I could tell she was probably out of my range.

Almost stepped back when her assistant told me how much her OTD package costs. Wowowee talaga.  I don't blame them though, they really are one of the best talaga based on what suppliers and past brides tell me.

If only unlimited ang budget haha.

Angiejune19 No worries, sobrang bilis lang din namin e. Hindi na ako nagpa-trial, baka matagal pa e. Only supplier from there na we're seriously considering are the Ateneo Chamber Singers. Wala pa kasi kaming singers for the ceremony, plus they're willing to give alumni discount haha.

sissies question, do i have to demand for a contract first before down payment? it's for our ceremony and reception venue.

Ako sis laging to follow. Like si Ate Blessie(florist), Bridehouse (wedding gown), God's Grace (P/V), after a couple of days nila nasend and I won't sign naman if hindi ako agree sa terms. Normally yung mga nabook ko sa bridal fair ang may on the spot contract (HMUA, mobile bar).

Hello mga sis! August bride here. Booked all suppliers na except for aisle flowers for the ceremony. budget wedding kame. I saw sa mga bridal fair mga ceremony set up na pasok sa  budget namin but still not decided. My friends offered kasi na mag diy sa flowers sa aisles. Marunong naman sila. madami na din sila nagawa na weddings kaso wala naman sila gamit like pots Or flower stand. As in from scratch mag start. I'm thinking kasi baka mas mapamahal. Pero they told me na mas makaka mura pag sariling gawa. So i really can't decide yet. medyo matagal pa namam so pwede pa pag isipan ng maigi. Hehe.

Congrats sa mga sis natin na graduate na. Ang laking tulong ng mga tips from all of you. God bless!

thanks sis! i will ask for a contract then. actually sis our ft is on sat and hindi raw namin sila makakausap nun kasi may on going event sila. so will go there for ft only and hopefully masilip yung decor at set up nila. hehe

^^ pwede pala yun sis? pano kung yung reservation nila eh non refundable (like ours) at may hindi ok sa yo sa contract? will ask to revise na lang?

^actually ako sis kasi me initial meeting kayo so dun kayo mag-aagree verbally. Normally naman non refundable talaga ang dp. Tapos magdodown na kayo if naging ok kayo sa initial meeting. then after a few days, sesend nila yung contract based dun sa discussion nyo and if me gusto kang ipabago, di mo naman need mag-agree agad, laging subject for review yung initial contract. So far ok naman kami, like si florist, me namiss sa contract, i called her up to clarify etc, tapos on the same day binago nya yung contract tapos naging ok na. ang wala ko na lang contract is si caterer, business proposal pa lang kasi and we're still under discussion dun sa setup sa reception. Once mafinalize na everything, that is the time that she'll give me the contract. I trust her naman so walang problema yun.

Hi sis! Actually personally hindi ko prefer ang flower stands for our aisle decor. Ang daming pwedeng alternatives lalo na kung DIY ka. Yung friend ko, flower boxes ginamit nya then tinali lang sa gilid ng pews ng church. I think meron din dito sa GT na luminaries lang ang ginamit so nasa floor lang. Ang daming ideas sa pinterest. Yung florist namin suggested na flower stands din pero hindi ko talaga bet. Kaya hindi namin gagamitin. Hehe.

^ also think of kraft paper cones that you can hang from the pews. or even use recycled cans that you can paint in your wedding colors. we won't have flowers in any if our decorations, all our decors are made of paper and ribbon ^
