i've been lurking here for quite some time now. we're planning a sept 2015 budget wedding and we have not booked anyone yet! we already talked to some suppliers and they said sept is not a peak season so it's okay kahit medyo late na kami.

December 2015 bride here as well I have not been active here in a while, but time flies so fast! So back to preps na ulit. I have booked na the ff: (since last year pa!)

Yun pa lang so far. We have been to 2 expos only, where we booked Infinite Soul and INP. Medyo naguguluhan na ako sa expos sa totoo lang hehe.
This weekend we might go to the SMX expo to check Dangwa Florist, I got  flyer last time (last yr pa), when I check all florist flyers that we got this morning lang sila cheapest, layo ng price. Sana same price pa rin. Pero may other suggestions ba kayo? I do not want to splurge on flowers.

Hi sisses! I just had a quick question regarding the bridesmaids gifts. Kasi I want to do that idea I got on Pinterest, yung parang "will you be my bridesmaid" present, where I will get a nice box and put all these things inside along with a personalized note asking each person to be my bridesmaid, so that its special talaga for them. But does this count na as the entourage gift? Or should I also give them another gift on the wedding day itself as a thank you? For the groomsmen kasi, we will only be giving them their gift on the day of the wedding. It will be laser engraved crystal decanters with matching whiskey glasses and a bottle of alcohol (h2b's request).

I wouldn't mind giving them another gift, especially if all I am going to put in the "will you be my bridesmaid" box will be a bunch of nice but random stuff (like the box clutch I want them to use during the wedding, a personalized necklace, headpiece to use for the wedding, nail polish, etc). But all those costs add up, especially if I am going to have 6 bridesmaids! Is it nakakahiya to only give that box as a gift, then no more gift na on the wedding day?

^ giving your bridesmaids gifts isn't a requirement, just something nice to do. my gift for my secondary sponsors/bridesmaids will be their dresses. i think they will already appreciate the great "will you be my bridesmaid" box and won't expect anything else on the wedding day itself ^

^di naman kelangan may gift sa bridesmaids. I guess okay na yung idea mo na box of random girly stuff.

For us, shoes ang gift namin for all our entourage, the groomsmen +bridesmaids + kids. Gusto din kasi namin pareparehas sila ng shoes na susuotin sa wedding since mismatched na yung dresses nila.

Sa wedding ng friend ko, since their theme was children's party, they gave us (the entou) chocolates.

^hi sis,  i think what you will be giving them when you invite them to be your bridesmaids is more than enough. Like what the others say, hindi naman required to give gifts to the entourage. I think the practice is just popular in the US because the entourage pays for their own dresses (and it usually costs a lot to be a bridesmaid bec they shell out for bachelorette parties, bridal showers etc) so it became customary for the bride to give a gift to her girls.

Hi mga sis! Wala kasi kaming theme ni h2b sa wedding. What can you say kung ang maging parang motiff namin is white? White bouquet, white floral centerpiece, white linen, white wedding cake, white design of the reception, etc. My gown is color light blue.  Appreciate your inputs mga sis

Wala kami budget for styling so kung ano yun gagawin ni Forest House yun na design ng reception, they are requesting lang kung anong requested style/design/color na gusto namin.

hi blackgreen, it's very elegant. maybe you can consider adding wood and candles to complement the white decor. you mentioned that your venue has a rustic vibe so adding some wooden elements and candles would complement the overall look
