im starting to sell positions na as i will be needing funds. good thing kahit paano nakarecover ng kaunti. kung a few months back, i'm gonna sell kahit at a lost. timing is everything talaga

^I agree sis, kaya pag nareach na yung TP benta na, pero tingin ko naman temporary lang din tong kay TEL.

Is it ok ba na bumili ng TEL at ififlip ko lang sya?  Sobrang mura kasi....

^Why not? Just know your entries and exits. Technicians see TEL dropping to as low as 1,500. They're also saying TEL must go back to 2,100 level for us to be confident that this is really just a temporary thing. Otherwise... doomsdayers will prevail.

Everyone is affected by TEL's drop. UITFs, MFs, and VULs, wala rin takas. Ang bibigat niyang mga yan sa TEL, being that it is the heaviest weighted stock in the PSE.

Palakasan na lang ng loob ito. Either you believe that TEL just spent on new infrastructures to improve their network connections that's why their income dropped, or they're really on their way to become the next Nokia with their poor service and stiff competition coming in from Telstra.

^Did they? I don't follow it. But MVP himself did mention rising competition, even just locally from Globe, who they lost 5 million subscribers to.

Started investing last August 2015. 5 bluechips companies lang. Tas I always try adding 2k every month since student palang naman ako. So far JFC palang nagbigayng ngiti sakin. Haha. Im actually following Bro. Bo's advice. More of an investor than a trader. Okay ba talaga na i-leave ko lang don for like 5to10 yrs yung investment ko? Nakakatakot lang kasi baka biglang maglaho yung Citisec. Hahaha.

^^COL Financial is fine. They are just a stock brokerage firm. They act as a middleman. If COL close up shop, your investments with the companies whose stock you bought like JFC will remain. You can go straight to JFC to get those stock certificates. If you want, you can keep your own records of what stock shares you hold for your own peace of mind.

What I think na pwede madehado in case of a stock brokerage closing is your money in your cash balance.
