^^If you are averaging down, wait a little muna. If you are just entering now, technical analysis says no, even if Jollibee is okay fundamentally. In fact, sell signal siya ngayon. Index stocks like JFC, MBT, MEG, URC, and etc. are still reeling.

Overall sentiment on the PSEi is wait or stay out completely (unless you know how to stock pick). Best strategy now is lighten up, gather as much cash as you can, so you have lots of ammo when it is time to strike.

Although the Philippines was looking resilient against Greece, China, and other global issues, you can see that we are still affected. Only fools believe that it has no effect on us, i.e. "malayo sa atin yan, walang epekto yan."

Hi mga sis, sorry kung medyo OT. I've asked before about company stocks. I was advised that I should open a dollar account para dun ko deposit yung dividends. Now, I want to sell na and pastop ko na yung deductions ko monthly since may ibang kailangan pag ipunan. Same lang ba yun, kailangan pa rin ng dollar account kasi malamang in USD yung check na makukuha ko from the proceeds? Nacurious lang ako, so ibig sabihin lahat ng may company stocks (international company) eh merong dollar acct? Ang hassle lang kasi, wala akong dollars haha. Sa BPI kasi they won't sell USD kung gagamitin mo pang open ng dollar acct eh. Pls help! Tia!

^depende ata sa broker sa us sis. kami kasi ang alam ko pwede naming makuha in peso, ihuhulog na lang sa bank account na nilagay namin sa profile. hindi ko pa lang nasubukan since hindi ko pa nagagalaw yung stocks ko ever since. kahit yung dividends namin dun lang din pumapasok sa account namin sa broker, so never experieced receiving a check.

When I was working before in American Company sa Pinas (solar cell plant) each employee have their share sa stocks.
Yes, meron dapat dollar account. Nagbenta kase ako that time ng shares so need ng $ acct para dun ihulog yung money.
 I just exchange my peso sa dollar dun sa local na nagpapalit para makapag open ako ng dollar acct.

Salamat sisses purple_girl and girlush. Hirap din kasi magtanong sa HR namin kasi hindi rin gaano familiar. Try ko email ying support siguro para ask kung pwede deposit nalang nila sa acct ko yung proceeds, pag di pwede bili nalang kami dollars. Thanks ng marami.

Whew, get ready for Monday! Support broke and 7,000 is looking weak. Technically, we are not yet in a bear market, but by the time that we really are (according to textbook definition), it'll be too late to do anything. This is why it's very, very important to set trailing stops and cut loss points!

Wasn't able to check the stock market for a week and then BOOM! Ang laki ng loss dahil sa DNL. I immediately checked FN for updates tapos ayun pala merong 100% stock dividend. Whew!
