^i agree. proven several times that paper application is faster than online. visa din ng parents ng friends ko, 2 days lang umaabot. sakin 1 month, when it should be the other way around. anyway, i applied for a longer stay period din kasi kaya pinamedical din parents ko. at least they were granted 18 mos visa and they don't have to exit every 3 mos.

How did you apply for longer stay? Is it a different type of tourist visa or just the regular one?

Hi rowan, for my parent's application, there's a question in the form asking how long is your intended stay in australia, i went with 6 months instead of 3 months. Ang choices kasi 3, 6 at 12 lang. Tapos may isa pang question na, what are the specific dates that they should be here, so nilagay kong reasons (kasi ako ang gumawa ng application) yung anniversary namin ni hubby, 7th birthday ng eldest ko at due date ng panganganak ko. I also provided letters from the doctors, and my invitation letter stating that I will be shouldering all expenses. tapos ayun, pinamedical sila (6k each sa nationwide) kasi more than 3 mos stay ang nilagay ko sa form. after a month may grant na sila. 18 mos validity and 1 year maximum stay per entry
It is still the same tourist visa na subclass 600.

australia is a nice country and kahit na di pa ako nakapasyal talaga dito i know i will have fun pero sa totoo lang i feel so empty and sad. i feel so alone.

i can say the city is nice even if i have not yet been to tourists spots but its different. i feel so alone and lonely.

i feel so empty. i can't call this homesickness kase i get to talk to people back home. maybe because i really don't want to be here but i just need to be here. yung andito na ako eh why not make the most out of it. well... di lang ako naiintindihan ng iba siguro.

para akong patay na buhay doing routinary things kahit na ayaw kase kailangan... pero at the end of the day wala parin. malungkot parin.

^i feel you sis, ako din pag nanjan 1-2 weeks lang ako excited. then after that boring na hehe! iba kasi talaga environment jan. lalo ako nasanay sa city na magulo. kaya maximum of 1 month lang talaga ako. then balik na lang ulet. feeling ko mababaliw ako jan tumira, kaya si hubby kino-convince ko na sa cebu kami tumira

maganda ang lugar pero may kulang..maybe dahil wala ang family ko dito kaya ganyan nararamdaman ko. ang hirap ng di ka masaya sa ginagawa mo, di ka masaya. wala ako kausap kase busy lahat. for me iba dito. sa mga sissies naten na andito ng matagal e nakapagadjust na sila. pero ako nahihirapan ako. din talaga ako masaya. naiiyak nanaman ako.

^hi sis naiintindihan kita how i wish madala ko pamilya ko dito para kumpleto. .. Pasalamat  na lang ako mabait ang asawa ko kaya kahit  papano  nababawasan ang lungkot sa pamilya.

^pansin ko din yan sa previous visa applications ko. my first visa (business short stay-subclass 456 pa sya noon) it took 1 month din. pero my working visa gosh it only took 3 days yata via online application (i'm here na that time). then yung permanent resident visa namin is exactly 1 month din bago nagrant kahit nandito na kami ng family ko.

Hi mga sis, just sharing. Family visa granted exactly 1 month after online submission. Just received the email today. Multiple entry for 1 year. Thank you for all your help and answering my queries.

^rocky, regional VIC kami. dito kase yung employer ko who sponsored our working visa and PR. Praying next year, maka move na kami sa Melbourne once our house is finished.

^Maganda sa Canberra. Sabi namin ni hubby, parang sinukat lahat. kulang na lang pati grass pantay pantay ang pagtubo.

^hehe maganda nga pagkakaplano ng canberra sis. pati yong embassy nasa isang area lang. kaso kakalurkey din ang weather don mas malamig. sa place ng dad-in-law ko sa bairnsdale mas gusto ko, malapit lang sa beach & lake. yun lang mas tahimik, probinsyang probinsya ang peg
