^last september yong sydney ticket ko 8,500 sis via cebu pacific. yong papunta 2,500 lang medyo mahal yong pabalik ko, hindi sya promo

within 6 months sis pag single entry then pag multiple 1 year

I got 2.5k one way 3.5k return so 6k roundtrip. Bought that last May 2014 and we traveled July for my son's birthday. 18k with 20kg luggage for 2pax and 1 infant with seat.

I'm working and earning around P30k a month.
I have three credit cards with P80k credit limit each.
May mutual funds din ako and stocks worth P120k pag pinag-sama-sama.

Pero right now wala sa 6-digit ang laman ng bank account ko

Around makano kaya dapat laman ng bank account ko para ma-approve?

^Hindi lang naman laman ng bank account per se ang basis for the visa approval. You have a stable job plus some investments. Malaking factor din na you will be using your sister's travel benefits. I'm assuming you have traveled na to other places using your FOC? You can mention that in the application. Basta kumpletuhin mo lang yung requirements for the visa application.

Small world by the way my hubby flies for CebPac too. I also use my FOC and sumasama ako sa kanya every time he has two-nights layover.

^ Yes sis, been to two other countries pa lang tho : Singapore (3x) & Hong Kong (2x).

Concerned lang ako kasi may nababasa ako sa ibang forum and blogs na denied application kahit they have around P100-150k sa bank account.

Ang mahal pa naman ng visa fee. LOL

^sis usually naman when you request for certificate of employment nakalagay dun yung approved VL dates, position in the company, joining date and salary. Well, for my former company anyway automatic nakalagay lahat yan details na yan.

^affordable hotels in Sydney? Capitol, Aarons, Metro Hotel, Ibis, Breakfree - mas mura yata if you book direct otherwise go to Agoda and the like. Kung maayos na hostels, check the YHA website. Also check Adara in Parramatta Road Camperdown, I've seen it from the outside and it looks new compared to the ones I've mentioned. Just a bus ride away and the entrance is only a few metres from the bus stop. Those buses go to the Sydney CBD. You can do Airbnb too, madami na rin gumagamit.

re Sydney to Melbourne, there are buses that travel overnight, may trains din, of course by air is the quickest. Check mo na lang jetstar, tiger, virgin and qantas for deals.

visa granted a month ago, hindi din kasama si hubby sponsored ng sibling ko then I don't have 6 digit fund sa acct ko. I have work here sa pinas plus kasama ko pa little one ko sa travel. as long my mag sponsor ng travel mo I think okie na ma-approve un.

is there a better chance of getting your visa granted if you've been to another OECD country, like Korea?

Applied for a Korean visa recently, and I learned that one of the perks of having a visa from another OECD country is that your application gets processed faster. I assume mas likely ka din ma-approve.
