aussie based gt sissies, those who invited their parents to come over for a visit, which stream did you used for subclass 600? tourist or family sponsored? need answers asap. thanks heaps!!!

^vodafone pay as you go yong sim ko sis, kahit after a year hehe gumagana pa din. pure data load AUD15 lang sa airport

thanks rocky! im checking vodaphone website now and $30 yung cheapest pay as you go niya. sa physical store/booth lang ba nila makikita yung $12 na pure data?

^di ko na tanda kung magkano bili ko sa mismong sim pero based on experience mas mura sa airport, may discount don compare sa store nila sa labas. yong AUD15 na reload umabot almost 2 weeks, kaso need ko ng FB kaya nagload uli ako ng AUD10 bago ako umalis

question about applying tourist visa. ano mas ok at mas malaki chances na maapprove?

yung tourist visa? or yung sponsored tourist visa?

processing time between the said visa's depends kung anong stream. although both visitor visa sya.

isip ko lang baka mas ok yung sponsored visa since aside from my money resources, hindi masyado big deal sya dahil my relative will sponsor me? correct me if i'm wrong.

sponsored tourist visa - your sponsor may be asked for a security bond of 5k to 15k. If you or your sponsor can cover this, why not go for it.

For my mum, I've only ever applied for the normal tourist visa and we just give them copies of our (mine, my husband's, my kuya's and my sister in law's) payslips, letters from HR saying we are permanent full time employees, copies of our mortgage statements, bank statements, etc. Talagang apat kami nagbibigay ng ganyang requirements para makita na we really can afford her stay. She's never been denied.

then i will attach na lang din all her docs together with my docs..

Yes, we're all citizens too but we still give them those requirements for their peace of mind. Para no doubt in their part na my mum, who is already a senior citizen, will not be a burden to the Australian government.

As to where you mention that you have a relative in Australia... sorry I have no idea kasi we usually do paper application. Dun naman, I submit a statutory declaration, stating I'm a resident of blah blah (our home address), citizen of Australia (photocopy of my certificate attached) inviting my mum to visit (state the reason why... last time I said I'm giving birth and I'd like her spend time with her apo so I also provided a letter from my OB), and we'll cover all her needs whilst she was here. Also living arrangements, etc... mga ganyan.

I just remembered... sa paper based application form, may tanong dun for the applicant kung sino sino relatives nya ang nakatira sa Australia.

under Visa Applicants tab, then How to Apply

you'll be the one submitting everything but if your aunt has documentations to help your application, sayo nya ibibigay and ikaw magiinclude nun sa ipapasa mo.

Sis honeybunny, i think we are after the same info. Subclass 600 Tourist stream. I will start next year for my parent's visa application.

i don't have much money sa bank but my sibling told me they will sponsor my expenses and accommodation for the trip. i'm a bit hesitant sa pag apply ng visa baka madis approve kami ng mga anak ko. because of the financial status. do i need ba at least 5 digits para mareflect sa bank statement?TY
