BTW, nakabook ako ng return flight ko sa cebu pac ngayon 6,400 lang kasama na 20 kilos baggage. yong papunta ko 2,500 all-in na. sayted na ako ma-experience yong spring naman dahil sa floriade festival (canberra) & tesselaar tulip festival (melbourne)

Thank you for your inputs. Unfortunately wala akong nakuhang dollars. Haha. I tried calling Sanrys yesterday kaso wala sumasagot sakin so I just went there this lunchtime. Kailangan nga ng 1 day reservation so wala na. I just might exchange everything sa airport. Sabi kase ng sister ko wala na daw ako mapapalitan once I get there. Sobrang last minute kase ako mag asikaso.

Hi sises, will be traveling this Saturday with my sister Manila-Sydney via Cebu Pacific then connecting flight Sydney-Auckland on the same day via Jetstar. Since it's a connecting flight and we won't be leaving the airport anyway, we don't need to possess an Australian visa anymore, right? Also, how's Sydney (Kingsford Smith) International Airport Terminal? We'll be staying there from 10:05am-5:00pm so we plan to shop for a bit so as to kill some time. When shopping at the airport, what currency are we going to need? Is it Australian dollars?

hindi maganda airport nila hehe don't expect much. pag kino-compare ko rin yong price mas mahal pa rin kahit sa duty free unless naka-sale yon ng 50% off

Sydney Airport is a dump compared to Singapore Airport. Food is also expensive. I'm not sure kung tapos na ang renovations nila.

Notes:
If passengers are required to pass through Immigration clearance and check-in to their onward flight, including managing their luggage, they will require a visa to enter Australia. An appropriate visa for this purpose will need to be applied for and granted before travelling to Australia. -How will I know if I'm require to pass through Immigration clearance?
There are limited transit facilities available at the Gold Coast airport (OLD).
Overnight stays are not permitted at Cairns (CNS) and Sydney (SYD) airports. Passengers transiting overnight will need an appropriate visa for Australia to leave the airport to access overnight accommodation.
Transit facilities at Adelaide airport (ADL) are only available for passengers arriving and departing on the same aircraft. However the transit lounge will be made available for other transit passengers if the airline provides advance notice.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of this. Does this mean I would be needing a Transit Visa? OMG. If I apply today, would I be able to make it? I'm so scared already.

If you have check-in luggage. You get your luggage after Immigration clearance.

I Pm'ed sis megumii kasi baka ma-off topic. Anyway dito ko na ipost reply ko.

Sis yan din pinagbatayan ko pero the airlines explained that i have two tickets and not one itinerary. We don't classify under that but we do classify if ISANG TICKET to connecting flight. Example: emirates flight manila-sydney-auckland.

You have Cebu Pacific and Jetstar. Kame nun hindi pa nag-check in as in bitbit namen hand carry lang but we were not allowed. We need a Visa.

Sorry, im telling you the honest truth. Nito lang kame nagtravel. April-May. Single entry lang Aussie Visa namen at as in nasa airplane na kame nung narealize ko na "waaah need namen another visa to go back from Auckland" pero yan na yan ang pinagbatayan ko, yang info na yan pero not applicable.

Kasi you won't be able to check in for the next flight kung nasa Arrival area ka. Oo nga naman, kahit i-online check in pa natin yan. As in sumakit ulo namen, mama ko nalang nagsalba samin na calm down na, lesson learned and magingat kayo pauwi. Ending nagstay pa kame for another night and booked another tickets straight to Manila.

^sa transit lang kame pero we don't need to pass by the immigration officers kasi isang itinerary lang kame. Qantas flight Auckland to Sydney then Emirates flight Sydney to Manila.

Totoo sis nagiiyak ako sa check in counter nun kasi ganun ako kapag galit na, naiiyak ako saka ok na sige mali na kame.

Gamit na yung single entry namen kaya di na kame in-allow. Nakakainis dun in-allow kame lumabas ng Gold Coast to Auckland, which is sana from there sinabe na samen na need namen ng visa pabalik. Pero either way we've wasted a LOT of money na. Iniisip nalang namen na happy naman kame sa NZ trip. Aausin na lang namen next time at hindi na uulitin.

Sis d talaga applicable transit kasi I don't think pwede mo gamitin uli yun once you pass by kasi papunta and pauwi dadaan kayo eh. Tourst visa talaga.

Ito panget sa PH passport natin. Sad truth.
