sis ask ulit ako question nagvisit ako sa application ko kanina online and napansin ko wala yung employment certificate ko i forgot. ngayon ko lang na attached. then nakalagay sa account ko application received. processing na ba yun sis? habol pa kaya yung employment certificate ko? please advise thank you

yes pwede kang mag-attached ng supporting docs anytime as long as processing pa rin status nya

^ sis kakabili lang ni husband ko sa akin ng ugg boots $150 yung ankle length.yung mas mahaba $200 naman. Not sure sa ibang shop kung magkano.

sa online account mo sis, click mo yong "my application" then may column don ng "status". after mong maka-received ng email na nareceived na nila yong application mo magiging status na non "processing" then pag may decision na "finalised"

^^^Nakapasok ako ng coffee , Nescafe 3-in-1, pagbalik ko galing Pilipinas on April this year. My sister naman had the kape barako. Many years ago nakadala din ako ng civet coffee. I did not declare them. Isip ko kasi maganda packaging and processed and if ever they decide to discard them hindi naman kamahalan okay lang. Besides tiyempuhan na rin some customs officer could not be bothered by them, iba naman higpit talaga. Sis-in-law kasi gusto 3 in 1, iba naman gifts. Last trips ko my belongings weren't checked, lucky maybe?

And why bring coffee when masarap instant coffee dito even the cheapest supermarket brand. Milk is good too. The smallest cafe and takeaway shops sell delicious coffee too. Kaya nga konti na lang Starbucks dito people did not like the taste.

Pan nakadala kami noon, rice cooker never attempted mura rin naman dito. Bili ka na lang sa mga asian take-away ng rice.

^berrycherry, di kasi ako nagririsk, better to declare than be fined... Mura naman ang food, kaya kahit di ka na magdala. Marami din asian supermarket sa city kung di mo type yung nasa coles or woolies. Melbourne is known for really good coffee kaya suggest ko na try nyo din.

3weeks in melbourne then 8 days in sydney..

^I see... I suggest i-declare mo para sure just in case ma-random check ka. They'll let you bring in naman yan basta naka-pack ng maayos. Kaysa ma-random check ka tapos baka pa ma-fine ka pa if you don't declare. It's your choice naman. Kasi kami nag-dadala ng dried mango. Tatanungin lang kung ano, pagsinabi dried mango, ok na. Di na nila buksan yung luggage bag ko. Depende talaga.

Yung coffee na sinasabi ko sa mga coffee shops, like seven seeds, sensory lab, etc. Yung coffee na we buy either moccona coffee or the 3 in 1 na old town coffee that we buy sa asian shops hehe! 😀

^My sister always bring back wooden home decorations which she declares. Diyan sila talaga mahigpit, they will open the luggage. Treated naman siguro iyang rosary mo they will allow it.

Understandable naman talaga you're looking for cheap ways to eat tagal niyo rin pala and mahal dito. Sa Chinatown in Sydney, punta kayo sa food courts in Market City, Dixon Street, Sussex, Goulburn, mura ang Asian food with big servings. This Japanese shop sa Eating World in Goulburn Street gives free extra rice if you order a meal from them. Some take away shops near Town Hall station or sa food court under Myer sell reduced prices from 3pm onwards. May mga sushi, sandwiches, pasta, salads, fish and chips benta na lang nila for $2 around that time or pag pasara na at 4pm. Buy your water sa Coles or Woolies kasi sobrang mahal na sa labas.

true sis, kaya yong mga nagpapabili sa kin ng SB mug as pasalubong sinasabi ko sa kanila na hindi sikat SB sa AU kasi mas ok yong mga local coffee shop nila. fave ko hot choco sa zarraffa's, don ko yon natikman sa gold coast

Hello, for those who applied for tourist visa online, how did you pay for the visa fee? From what I've read, the mode of payment is by Manager's check but that was thru vfs (and not an online application).

I applied online and paid using my credit card. They accept mastercard, visa, amex

^^credit card lang sis. after mong mag-fill out ng form required kang magbayad then saka ka lang pwedeng mag-attach ng docs

Finally nandito na kame sa melbourne! First day namin... Kagabi kame dumating... Gutom ang inabot ko dahil wala ng mabilan ng food. Yung hungry jacks ayaw na magbenta kapag walk in lang, pangdrive thru na lang daw..almost 12mn na kasi nun..

Anyway, i like the weather here..
