Problems you encounter while preparing for your wedding (Part 6)

Tama! Ikaw dapat ang boss sis.. it's your wedding. Basta sinabi ng bride wala naman magagawa sila but to obey. And I hope maging considerate din ang mga members ng ento. I got a good feedback from my coordinator re: bridesmaids.. she told me walang "pa-star" sa ento ko.. (buti naman kase hate ko yung mga ganun) lahat mababait at masunurin sa call time.. yung iba super early pa. sino ba naman ang bride na gugustuhing mas maarte pa sa kanya ang ento diba? Sorry affected ako haha!!

I agree sis belle, kahit gano ka pa kaganda sa wedding ng friend mo, basta hindi ikaw yung couple, walang majorly papansin sayo i noticed that too on the weddings I've attended. Nagreply na lang ako ng maayos sa OK nya and told her I want to stand out on my own wedding and sana maintindihan nya.

...plus I just messaged their designer and had their sketches re-designed. Hahaha!

i hope hindi ko din maging problema ang bridesmaids and ss ko. since everyone of them are close to me. hindi ako pumayag na may manggaling ke h2b na side. hahaha.

ako naman, nastress yesterday dahil may family gathering kina h2b. malaki family ni h2b, and all of them gusto kasali sa entourage. be it ninang, ninong, abay, bearers at flower girls! si h2b, known na mabait sa kanila. pag kaming dalawa naguusap, agree sya sa terms ko, pero pag kaharap si family, yes sya ng yes, kahit at the back of his mind, he has no plans of including them.

There was this one tita nya na ipinipilit ang 2 y.o. nilang apo, pero dahil next year pa naman daw, 3 y.o. na daw un. I told them na ayaw namin na inaakay ang "little ento", itetrain na lang daw! itatahi na daw nila ng damit, isama daw kahit sa photo ops!

ako nga, wala pang gown eh! huhubels talaga!

Thanks sisses sparklingjewel and reese, actually nagtaka din yung designer why may ganung styles sa bridesmaids ko when serpentine na yung gown ko. My mom, fiance and SIL insisted na I have their sketches changed asap! Nasabi ko na dun sa isang bridesmaid friend ko, medyo pinilit nya nung una na sana may masikip pa rin na part sa baba ng gown nya.

^Ay grabe nakakaloka sila sis. sabi nga ng isang sis natin dto, mag inarte sila sa sarili nilang wedding. kahit ilang change gown sila pwde. hehe. Antayin nila yung kasal nila 

tama si sis belle_v2g, baka nagpunta sila to inspect, to okray or mangilatis lang at maghanap ng pangit. minsan nakikipagtalbugan pa sa ibang guests nakakatawa nalang

Sis, try mo pakita yung church requirements...4 years old and above talaga. May papel naman binibigay ang church, baka kamo hingiin ang birth certificate

juwie, sorry to hear you had that issue. I think this can be one of the pitfalls of asking bridesmaids to help pay for their dresses -- maybe she feels like she can push for what she wants since her money's involved? Anyway, it sounds like she's acquiesced so hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from now on.

Hayyy.. Mag vent out lang ako konti. Nasstress na naman kami kahapon, yun mga nag self invite sa baguio wedding namin expected pa nila kami sasagot ng transpo and accommodation nila dun. Haller!! Hay naku. Nasstress talaga ako sa kanila. Bakit di na lang nila i-respect gusto ng couple?

juwie: nako meron talaga maarte na bridesmaids na super dami requirements!! Di ko nalang pinapansin. Basta ikaw pa din ang masusunod. In my 1st wedding  dami comments about the gown. I even had one secondary sponsor na pinaiba several times yung gown style niya, and even ordered an extra coverup but paid for the additional coverup. She's medyo overweight kasi so medyo conscious siya. Then take this... RIGHT AFTER the wedding, even before the eating began she changed her gown and wore her usual all black gown.

I also had a flower girl... as in 5 year old maarte flower girl na she had her gown changed to a tube gown because the little girl was inisisting! All the other flower girls had a different sleeveless style.

Madami lang maarte talaga, or madami issues sa buhay hehe BTW I fully paid for all the gowns and yet meron mga may issue lang talaga sa buhay. I had 2 overweight entourage members, the other one changed her gown, the other one stuck to the designer's specs. Needless to say malayo maganda yung gown nung sumunod sa designer because she was in an off shoulder gown na made her look slimmer. The other one, medyo ang pangit kasi pinilit niya mag long sleeves na ewan, so she looked bigger and matronic in her gown.

I had the same encounter sis chili! 2 BMs from hubby's side, nagreklamo after their initial fitting to the point na halos mabadtrip nako sa mananahi. (Nasa abroad pako non kaya i was praning) I thought everything failed. Eto yung output..   https://instagram.com/p/3p5Rg9nsQ5/

Now I just feel grateful for how chill my friends are, haha. Although I didn't care din that much about their dresses... I wanted them to feel pretty, so I just asked them to choose any shade within my colour scheme, and please nothing short or shiny. lol. Hopefully it comes together naman.

Sevenstars, I was surprised lang din why only 2 are complaining and the rest are happy. Oh well importante they behaved well during the preps. at walang nag aartista sa kanila hehe

sis belle ganda ng gowns ng ento mo! is this from the same mananahi you sent last time? gusto ko din kasi same lahat ng style ng gowns ng ento ko. sinabi ko sa kanilang lahat and so far wala naman silang palag. lol

I did not give my entourage any choice in their gowns hehe. I just shared the color tapos na kwento ko yung design and that's it.

All of them liked it naman. That or they just know me so well that I won't take any drama or arte!
I wouldn't put them at risk naman all of them were coincidentally slim and the dresses complimented their figures.

Sana nga eh hindi ko na lang sila binigyan ng choice. pero I don't know what kind of style ang bigay sa kanila and I wanted them to have some freedom to choose. All the while I thought they knew na kapag BM gowns dapat bagsak lang yung skirt. I should have been more specific.

aww so sorry sis juwie. pati yan problem mo pa tuloy. instead of them helping you, they are causing additional stress pa. i guess some girls just dont understand at hindi susunod kahit ano pa sabihin natin. dati naman nung bridesmaid ako, the brides allowed me to choose my own design pero i always ask them first if the design i want is okay with them. syempre even if i pay for the gown or not, its still her wedding.

Thanks girls. Sis bzbee buti pa yung isang BM ko she easily agreed na ibahin gown type nya. Dito sa isa... close college friend ko pa to, but from her replies, she's obviously not happy that she's not getting her desired gown type. Then she sent me another gown design at yun daw ang ipagawa ko. Nakakasama lang ng loob.

^Sorry to hear that sis juwie. Over naman yung isang BM mo supposedly dapat isa sila sa tutulong sa'yo para gumaan yung things to do mo. Kung ako iyan naku tatanggalin ko na yan sa list ko (I will tell her in a nice way LOL). Ngayon lang yata ako naka-encounter ng ganyang klase ng ento. Buti na lang yung ento ko hindi pasaway. I let them choose the design that they wanted then i-consult pa nila sa akin kung OK yung design na yun. Fortunately, wala ni isa mang naging pasaway sa kanila so medyo na-less ang stress ko.
