Sis bzbee, my coord advised me na wag muna magorder ng crew meal in advance. Usually caterers have 10% buffers and since we had guests na hindi dumating, sa suppliers na lang pinakain. In case daw di kasya buffet for suppliers dapat si coord na magestimate ilan ang iorder for the suppliers meal during reception. However, Im not sure if pwede to sa well known caterers like KbyC, Hizon's, etc.

Ms. Darlene has tips sa wedding tip sheet sa FB on how to control and manage the guest list and RSVP. Be sure to ask na lang din if your guests will attend either/both the ceremony and reception.

Thank you so much for the tip sis! Will try to do this when we do the RSVP. Not bad na rin ang 136 actual turnout vs 148 confirmation vs 150 pax reservation. So yey looks like we can still trim our current head count! Hahaha.

RE RSVP, bilang mas madami nga invited si fiancé, sya din ang mas makulit sa friends nya.  As in magtetext blast yata sya everyday until magreply lahat.  So far, within days of launching our website, we already have substantive headcount.   Sana lang, SANA, the turn out will be good too. Otherwise, galit galit. hahaha

Question sa mga deadma na guests, yun mga wala naman valid reason for not attending, i-FO (friendship over) niyo ba? Hahaha..

blackgreen, for me it depends on the guest lol. I made the decision to have a destination wedding, so I can't really hold it against anyone if they decide not to come. I think sasama lang loob ko if some of our very close married friends decide to skip it, since we travelled naman for all of their weddings.

We have guests too that we travelled also to their weddings. So parang baka sasama din loob namin, siyempre we will consider then the financial state nila, pero ayun nga. Destination din kami pero local lang naman. And the guestlist that we have super pinagpilian yun so kung di sila makakapunta ang konti naman, mas intimate Hahahha

^the reason why I love my 3 HS friends. wala silang car. nag commute para lang makapunta sa wedding ko. yung church ko kasi inside ng exclusive village. yung officemates ko gumawa din ng paraan para makapunta sa wedding ko kahit nung una nagrereklamo sila hahaha. kung importante ka sa kanila gagawa sila ng paraan

Not necessarily naman friendship over sa amin. Syempre we have to consider their reasons. If mag yes tapos di dumating, I'll demand an explanation. If gagawin kong basis ng friendship ang attendance sa wedding, that's super mababaw for me.

Not necessarily friendship over, but super magtatampo talaga ako especially if that friend is one of those whom I consider really dear to me. Iniisip ko na lang, they'll understand me once they prepare for their own weddings. Haha!

I'd really hate it if they confirm and then no show.  it would take time siguro before i get over that. Mga 3years. Hehe

Anyhoo, here is a quick guestlist guide I read http://www.theoverwhelmedbride.com/the-blog/guest-list-in-30-seconds. Simple YES or NO, BUT, sooo hard to follow especially for those whose parents have their own guestlist. Lol!

Yun pag RSVP talaga ang feeling ko super struggle natin sa planning. Especially pag di natin malaman kung ilan ba talaga dadating.

Paano sis yun gagawin niyo dun sa ayaw sumunod sa dress code? Hahaha.. My soon-to-be SIL sabi yun dress na above the knee gagamitin niya. Eh gusto nga namin mahaba damit.

^ siiiiiis, natatawa ko kasi opposite ang concern natin. si SIL naman wants to wear red floor length gown when we wanted sana na summer dresses lang!  NAKAKALOKA

Well, I let her.  Ayoko na mastress pa. If gusto eh di go. di naman ako ang ma-OP sa karamihan at maiinitan. Hehe.

^super opposite talaga sis ng concern natin. hahaha.. Siyempre una kong reaction ang pasaway naman.  Sabi ko na lang sige bahala siya kung kayanin niya lamig at mag above the knee siya na dress.

May mga guest kami nagYes, pero hindi nakapunta, meron at meron talaga yatang ganon. Naintindihan naman namin, di naman tipong friendship over. lol. meron mga nagtext on the day na di makakapunta, family reasons. di naman ako nainis, medyo sad, pero naintindihan ko naman.   syempre uber saya lang kung lahat ng nagYES nakarating talaga. fairy tale? haha

naalala ko, makulit ako regarding RSVP. haha. yung mga friends ko minemessage ko talaga kung nagRSVP na ba sila hahaha. si hubby lagi ko din nireremind non na iremind friends nya, kasi may point na puro guests nya yung wala pa replies, kitang kita ko sa excel sheet ko puro blank haha! may OTD coord kami, kasama RSVP sa service nila kaso medyo control freak ata talaga ko bet ko mangulit sa RSVP. One time nabanggit ni coord namin na sa mga clients nila, samin yung pinakamarami nagrespond. wahaha kulit ko kasi
