yup, those color names/shades are official. anoter thing you can do is just google the shade of red and google images will show you pictures of the color

Grabe. Ang creative ng minds ninyo. Super. Gusto ko sana humingi ng advice. Ours is a beach wedding. [textspeak!] kayang magandang theme? Ang gusto ko yung clean, romantic, light. Gusto ko sana maaliwalas. Yung hindi masyadong ma-clutter [textspeak!] designs/ centerpiece pero at the same time classy naman sya. Gusto ko din sana [textspeak!] inclined din sa music yung theme, yung may mga linya ng favorite love songs namin yung mga centerpiece. I was also thinking to ask our guests to wear plain white.

Advice naman please. We are a very fun, light, child-like sa energy na couple. If ihahalintulad sa prenup, kami yung pang "roadtrip" theme lang na naka maong shorts & white shirt.

Sana makapagbigay kayo ng style inspiration and advices.

hi mlgj, i just saw your post. this thread got buried.

you should definitely go for bright and modern. how about having a pattern motif? a more modern pattern like chevron or stripes and use it in all the decorations. pick a bright and bold color palette like fuschia and tangerine or turquoise and lemon yellow and the guests in white will definitely pop out.

for example, if you go for the fuschia and tangerine color palette. you can use oranges in clear glass vases and use them to decorate the tables. have a chevron patterned table runner in fuschia. then add your favorite love song lyrics by putting them in white frames so they really stand out. it's simple, bright, and clutter-free.

if you're having a couple's table then you hang panels of cloth in the chevron pattern with fuschia and tangerine.

your photobooth backdrop can also be in the chevron pattern or go bold with just a wall of tangerine and fuschia stripes. with your guests wearing white, it will balance out the photos.

you can also hang fuschia and tangerine colored lanterns in plain and chevron patterns to bring it all together.

Share lang, I was also confused between wedding theme and motif kasi motif lang ang meron kami dati. Though I really like Rustic weddings (i noticed that when I saw most of the wedding pictures I have from pinterest are all rustic inspired) so yun yung napili ko. Eventually i realized I also need to ask Hubby to be what he likes yun pala gusto niya ng School Themed Wedding kasi parehas kaming teacher and we were college classmates. Ayun so binago namin ang theme into Rustic School Theme (not sure kung paano namin yun gagawin basta yun na yun haha) tapos pati color palette namin nabago.

I guess it's still best to consult our partner kung ano gusto nila and best if the theme itself would reflect your personality as a couple or at least your love story. I read an article about it which helped us realize what we really want I forgot lang the name of the article and I can't find it anymore. Anyway, Happy Preps!

^sis you can try White Space Manila. Its literally a blank canvas so you can work on whatever theme you'd like.

zaji731, sis, sadly that's out of budget. If possible to find a place na medyo ganon na yung feel (bricks and high ceiling, warehouse look) or has the elements na para less na sa gastos ang styling. Is what I'm looking for even exist here in the Phils? Parang I see venues lang na ganon sa US eh. (Im blaming this dream on pinterest!)

you could go rebellious bride style and look for restaurants that have the same feels/look that you want. I'm just not sure how much they'll cost...

Le Parc (40K, no corkage fee on anything at all) - is affordable given its price/size, and it has high ceilings too. But it's hardly a venue for a minimalist theme.

Thanks for the ideas zaji731, spraklingjewel. I love how classy the interiors of Le parc is. Yun nga lang not the industrial look. Im open to changing my theme though. Hands down to the beauty of Enderun Atrium. Can pull off an industrial chic look as well. Problem is I have 200 guests. I'm liking Industriya Marikina's biggest hall. Considering it now.

That minor heart attack you get when a blog does an editorial of your "unique" theme. Buti nalang it turned out way different from what we want to achieve. I want an elegant yet simple blue & white Chinoiserie theme. Amante Fleurs executed it na before (Chinoiserie Chic Album) but nakukulangan ako with their outcome. But atleast meron ng stylist who has the props for it. Hope it will turn out the way I envisioned it :)

hi tiffany24 i think you can incorporate a classroom theme to your rustic setup by using chalkboard instead of the usual wood then add chalk art and some witty lines from subjects you are both teaching.

Funny idea of my hubby to be is yung guest table assignment math problems tapos need i solve ng guest to get their table assignment haha. sabi ko baka ma badtrip lang yung mga guests so instead, yung mga table names will be math equations or math terms. Math teachers kasi kami pareho

^our is just rustic with elements of our "interests". We're injecting a few football elements like greens and player names on the table numbers, our save the date is in front of a goal. this is the only thing we have in common kasi and its how we both met. The pub quiz part is mainly because of me since me and my friends like to go on quiz night. so one category is math for h2b and there will be 2 more. ayaw namin kasi na puro about us yung questions. i think in etsy madami blackboard stuff. i also saw blackboard stickers at national bookstore before.

Sis rightback Yes I saw a lot of nice printables for ETSY nga and other sites. balak ko na i DIY yung invitation namin pati yung pop quiz din and other printables. Maganda talaga feel ng rustic kaya ni combine namin yung school and rustic theme kasi magkaiba kami ng gusto ni H2B. When wedding mo sis?
