^Sis, they should have replied to you anytime now..  ;)

COL Mutual Funds have managers. Tama ka, hindi mo na kailangang bantayan ang stock prices kasi the manager will do it for you.  ;)

If you want to invest directly, it"s not under Mutual funds anymore.  :)

^ sis okay na! The account officer already update me so here's what happened.

I emailed the help desk and it replied the next day about the status of the application giving the contact details of the account officer.
I emailed the account officer and she replied the next day. She asked for another government-issued ID to verify my information. Then she also asked for a schedule for a Skype interview.
I was interviewed yesterday morning thru Skype. Very fast interview lang. I confirmed my birthday, occupation and the company I'm working to. The interviewer also requested me to show my ID that I used in the application thru the webcam.
After the interview she said na I can expect my account information details yesterday or today.

So today I'm hoping to receive an email from them for my account information.

Yes you can open 2 separate accounts. I have 2 accounts din. One for me, one is ITF for my baby's education.
Just fill out the forms and attach the requirements. Are you based in Pinas ba sis? I am an OFW kasi. Yung process sakin ang easy lang. Pagka fill ko ng forms sinubmit ko lang sa isa sa mga iremit branches and then after 3 days naka receive na ko ng email confirmation.

Hi! I am planning to open a COL EIP account for my kids' education. Can I open two separate accounts and then ITF sa bawat isa sa mga kids ko? How do I go about doing that? Sorry, newbie lang ako sa investing

^i tried both and personally, mas gusto ko ang COL seminar than TRC. TRC kasi medyo hardselling pagdating sa membership nila and I really didnt like that. Although naging member ako for a year.

I attended the COL Financia EIP Seminar few hours ago and I've really learned a lot from it. In fact, I've also signed up with another seminar about investing in the stock market this March to learn more because I'm really eager to understand the stock market and increase my financial literacy in the long run.

^Hi Sis. Actually hindi naman "required" na umattend ka. You can also watch videos sa Youtube, like for example, yung kay Aya Laraya. He explains MF very well and how it works. You can also attend seminars sa Ortigas if you find online tools not enough. You can also join groups sa facebook which gives you informations, and be active here in GT as well. Madami tayong Sis dyan who can guide us.  ;) I have MF & Stocks since 2012 and I admit, i am still learning.  :D

I think so. At least that what they said when I emailed their Customer Service. Napapunta tuloy personally kasi I wasn't really comfortable doing that.

I registered with COL just last week. Initial plan ko magtrade (excited feeling kasi haha) but now I realized parang not possible pa with my time kasi I have to work sa family business plus help out sa house pag after office hours. So I decided to avail of their mutual fund service. But I still left around 10k for stocks just in case.

Ako personally, I prefer attending seminar kasi you can ask your q's afterwards. I tried youtube din, ok siya for beginners. Para at least magka-idea ka. Pero kapag tulad niyo ako na super slow talaga pagdating sa ganyan, youtube + seminar.

I just did my Skype verification and they have already verified that they received the funding.

I just have to wait for three days for my login credentials.

Can't wait! Mag mutual fund lang ako as I'm not really knowledgeable in this field and I don't have the time to check on stocks prices.  :D

Wala sis. Download their forms sa website, print, affix signature and the requirements, then mail sa address. Im an OFw too btw. After a week of sending the requirements, they will email you to let you know na nareceive nila ang requirements mo.. further instructions will be given too.  ;)

Hi sis! High risk equates to high possible kita din po. Medium risk means medium possible kita. Low risk means low kita.  ;)
