@ikaela, last I checked you can opt for Option B.
No front end sales load but you'll pay a hefty fee if you
redeem before 5 years(More than if you simply just
paid the front end sales load in the first place)

Option A is when you pay the front end sales load.

^^Well, JFC is about P250/share so you can buy 2 shares with P500+ (plus fees, commission, and taxes), but yeah, ano ba naman yung dalawang shares lang. I agree with you -- if you only have a small amount of money, it's better to put it into managed funds than investing in stocks directly. For that small amount in a managed fund, you are already exposed to the stock market while also being diversified vs. having only a measly 2 shares in one single company.

My own preference before getting into stock trading is 100k minimum. That for me is the amount where you start feeling the movement of your money, and having the time you spend trading be worth it.

Mga traders nag rereklamo hahaha... Anyway! Ano pong sinasabi nila na you can invest any amount you want eh ang mahal mahal po ng stocks... What if i want to buy jollibee pero 500 pesos lang pera ko eh diba kalokohan naman yun at imposibleng 500 pesos lang ang share ng jollibee hahaah.... Namimislead ang mga tao sa nagsasabing " you can out any amount you want"  pakilinaw po pleaseeee salamat

Hi Sis! JFC is mahal kaya pag iipunan mo talaga siya before ka bumili. JFC's boarlot is 10. so you have to buy 10 shares - which is 2500 php. So maybe, instead of eyeing for JFC, dun ka muna start sa mababa. Merong MEG, VLL, etc. nasa 5 pesos per share sila. ;) But you should also remember na bago ka magstart, magpapasok ka ng 5,000 php to "pondo" your account.  :)
Sis I suggest, while you are trying to learn about stocks, tama si sis ikaela, maybe you can invest first sa Mutual fund where a Fund manager is handling your money. Lowest top up nila is 1,000 php. then at the same time, inaaral mo naman si COL, eh kumikita ka na MF mo.  :) Just a cent ha.  :-*

And yes I learned that the hard way , sana naklaro lang kasi namimislead mga tao like pasok ka ng pasok ng pondo pero mashoshock ka hala ang mahal pala ng stock ganun.. Haha.. Thanks sa mga replies btw . Much appreciated! :)

Anyone here familiar kung paano ang queuing ng buy and sell orders sa COL?

Example: You are buying a stock at 1.00 and there are 40 traders when put in the order are you #41?

TIA!

mas mabilis pala ang activation ng account kung pupunta ka mismo sa COL Financial. pag through courier daw, matagal tapos may interview pa through Skype. Haha! mabilis din silang magcredit, no? bukas palang ako makakasubok magtrade. hehe good luck sa atin!

Interested in COL Financials. Tama ba? Sila bahala magmanage ng portfolio ko? Naku nalilito na ako. Haha
