But if you have time to attend much better. Para dagdag knowledge ba.

^yes pwede naman kaso that was 6-7 years ago pa, di ko lang sure now. pwede din naman tawag ka muna sa kanila so they can give you someone who can assist you (nakalimutan ko na yung term) pero sya yung mag-guide sayo through the process. very approachable mga tao sa COL.

yung sakin kasi, a friend referred me dun sa "agent" nya sa COL. sya na nagprocess ng application ko. Referred my mom din to that same "agent". Deposit sa bank then may email confirmation naman na OK na yung account mo sa COL. Then 1 day nagpunta kami don mismo sa COL to meet her (the agent) din kasi may free seminar yung COL that time

stormweaver ako sa mismong office nag-open.mabilis lang..basta make sure complete requirements mo then pwedeng dun ka na magbigay ng initial deposit of at least 5k.ako sabi ko magoonline transfer nalang ako. Yung account number na ibibigay nila which is your reference number when making deposits is yung username mo sa website. Pag nakapagdeposit ka na and naconfirm na nila then dadating na password mo. Madali lang ang process

Share ko lang, I was overseas when I contacted COL through their helpdesk and to my surprise, I received all answers to my inquiries through email. I filled out the forms needed, scanned the supporting documents and then sent back to the Customer Relations Officer so she can check completeness before I mailed the actual documents.

So to cut it short, no seminars, no appearance- as long as verified yung details and complete requirements, it will be a breeze. Online bank transfer din ginawa ko and if I remember correctly, in a matter of two or three days, my account was active. 

But I agree na aral muna before investing.

Pili ka nung kakasya sa 1k o kaya ipon na lang hanggang makaya mo na yung minimum nung mga mahal.

I attended their IEP seminar and sa wakas nakapag-open na rin ako ng account. Gusto ko tuloy lahat attenand ng seminar nila hahaha! Kasi nakaka motivate and it will inspire you more to invest. So ayun, naka-sched na ko this month for online trading seminar muna, the FA and TA kasi alanganin pa sa oras ko but I will sched na rin.

Mga sis di ko gets yung mag invest sa stocks , what if gusto ko mginvest1k per month pero hindi naman [textspeak!] yun pwede? Kasi yung ibang stocks mahal? At pa iba iba price helpppppp

Hi there sis! You can use your 1k, / month. actually ok na merong 1k / month kesa totally wala.
Madami ka pwde mabili sa 1k. VLL for example is 6 pesos per share. bumili ka man ng 100 shares, that's only 600pesos ++. 

To be more inspired, you can read yung book ni Bro. Bo how his maid made (900k) in the stock market.

^weekly sis meron. Check mo na lang sa website nila nakapost yun schedule. Weekdays nga lang.

mga sis, if i will avail mutual funds sa COL, mas mataas ba charges(fees) nila kesa sa mismong institution ako pupunta to avail their MF account. Like if i want sunlife MF, lower ba charges kesa mag agent ako sa sunlife to open? I have stock na sa COL, kaya lang 3 yrs na ko inactive sa trading dahil busy sa work. TIA

^No fees sa mf via COL vs direct na may charges.

^mameejhy, are you referring to Sun Life? So Sun Life mutual funds still charge front-end sale loads (if investing directly)?
