Hi sis! Im planning to invest next year or on 2017 since I i have 2 insurances (manulife and sunlife VUL) and personal savings..I have a question:

I opened an account in COL financial but I havent funded it yet, and I still checking on what stocks I will buy thinking of PLDT, ALI, AYALA CORP, BDO, JFC etc as a start. If I saved already 50k to get started how will I know the minimum shares of stocks that I can buy? Pwede ba na PLDT 10 shares of stocks muna, then ALI 10 din and so on?

^sis graezieyliciousm --Dun sa quick links portion, upper left part ng screen meron dun Stock, click mo lang yun then search mo lang yung stock code. Dun sa right most portion dun may table, andun yung Boardlot. Dun mo makikita yung minimum number of shares na pwede mo bilhin.

Sample for ALI, 100 yung boardlot nya so yung minimum number of shares you can buy.

kung pang long term ba, kahit mataas or mababa ang price, ok lang bumili?

paano mo ba malalaman kung anong right price to buy? ganun rin sa pag benta, paano mo malalaman kung dapat mo na ibenta?

^ sis kung pang long term, pwede mag cost averaging, meaning, you will buy shares at whatever cost basta regular and consistent ka. When we say regular, pwedeng monthly, every 2 months, ikaw bahala basta consistent ka. Kasi in any case after several years tataas naman value nila especially kung blue chips company bibilhin mo.

Or, kung gusto mo combi ng long term and short term, check mo recommendation ni COL as to what is the best price to buy your desired stocks: Research>Fundamentals>Investment Guide

Explore explore lang sis ng tabs :)

^ EIP is depende sayo.. ikaw magseset ng amount and company to buy shares from.
about MF, minimum will depend siguro sa partner MF company such as ALFM or Sunlife pero yung top up as far as I know will depend na sayo

^ sis anong 8% yan? If you're referring to gains, hindi yun fixed. Will depend sa current market value, whether it be stocks, uitf or mutual fund. Parang business din yan, you'll never know kung loss or gain, and how much. :)

Hello sissies.. sana may mabait na may magexplain nito sa akin. ang hirap kasi intindihin sa website nila. hindi ako familiar sa mga words. I am very willing to sign up for this kahit yung minimum 5k muna to start up. tapos pag nagamay ko na every month mag add ako funds. TIA.

I am also interested in opening an account and investing with stocks through COL EIP paano ba? I know the initial investment is 5k, pano siya monthly? Do I need to add/deposit money every month para tumaas siya? or is it up to me if dadagdagan ko yung 5k? Then yung 5k ba ang ipapambibili ko ng stocks?

^ Yes, the initial investment is 5,000

Monthly, hindi naman po compulsory na 5,000 lagi. You work on a budget as long as above 500 ang deposit. I heard may charge na kapag lower than 500 ang deposit.

With your initial 5,000 you can buy stocks na. You can buy 2-3 companies. Kahit po 1 lang okay na.

Dun sa tanong na ano ang bibilhing stocks, kayo po ang dapat sumasagot niyan depende sa inyong pag-aaral :)

To schedule EIP, do the following

1) Login COL
2) Click Trade tab
3) Under Trade, click EIP Scheduler (located far right)
4) Enter Stock Code, Cash Value (Ano budget mo per month), Period, Start Date, Duration, Order Mode (Manual or Automatic)
5) Submit your setup t

Kapag Automatic, as long as merong enough fund sa iyong account, then automatic na pipila ang iyong orders and makakabili kayo ng shares

If Manual, you have to login then execute the transaction

Meron kayong ma rereceive na email reminder before the date na naka setup yung EIP Scheduler

If you want to know more, go to the FAQs ng colfinancial.com

Nandun po lahat :)

Mga sis, I find it hard connecting to COL website. Even after I login my account # and pass ayaw pa rin. I bought shares kasi kahapon nag tataka ako bakit wala ako na receive na email that's why I want to check my account. May maintainance announcement ba or something? I know the market is closed pero have you tried logging in today?

I saw from their website that they have 2 offices? One is in pasig and the other is in makati (col investor center). Can you open an acct doon sa makati? Or doon lang talaga sa pasig pwede magopen ng acct? also, do i have to bring all the original IDs  when i go to their office to open an acct (i am applying online. if may time gusto ko dumaan to open personally kase but if gahol sa schedule i might send it through LBC na lang).
