^ Hi sis! Hindi naman masyadong malala ang traffic around Cebu City.  Yung matraffic is sa Mandaue areas.  If you will be in uptown or downtown Cebu may rerouting ng public transpo  kasi close yung daan around Sto. Niño church and part of Colon during night market. 
Pahirapan makakuha ng taxi at makasakay ng jeepneys around downtown & uptown kasi nga maraming tao sa daan na galing sa Sto. Niño church.

Hello! We are planning to go to Cebu on Feb 7-9. Bale 3 lang kami. Me, hubby, and our 8 month old daughter. Papatulong po sana ako gumawa ng itinerary and ano ano yung mga places na pwede namin puntahan considering na may kasama kaming baby. Thanks!!

We'll be in cebu this first week of feb, 4days, 3nyts. Want to go to camotes island, osmena peak, mactan and city tour. I read about Mang Danny na tour guide sa city, puede pa-post naman ng contact no. nya or pm sa mga nakakaalam. May alam ba kayong nagtotour sa camotes and osmena peak? I know that we have to go to danao port to get to camotes but what transpo do we take and anong accommodation ang ok doon? We also want to go to buho rock in camotes. Sa osmena peak naman, i know that we have to take a bus to dalaguete but we need a guide and accommodation or kung kaya naman bumalik sa city then doon na lang. How long is the trip to/from dalaguete from city? Eto sana [textspeak!] iniisip kong iti namin.

Day 1 - ETA 10am
Camotes island
Day 2 - osmena peak
Day 3 - mactan
Day 4 - city tour
ETD 6pm

Ok ba to mga sis, sorry ang daming tanong. Dont wanna go sa mga adventure sights kase may fear of heights and I cant swim. Any comment/suggestion will be much appreciated.

Masyadong cramped iti niyo. Camotes is in north Cebu and Osmeña Peak is in the south. Either skip Camotes and do Osmeña-Kawasan-city tour instead, or do Camotes and Osmeña Peak but skip Mactan island and city tour (or kung maaga kayo makabalik from Badian, tapos quick tour lang before heading to the airport). Yung day 1 niyo kasi puro byahe lang ang gagawin niyo kung didiretso kayo ng Camotes. Kung Camotes-Badian or vice versa ang byahe niyo, maghapon 'yan.

Kung 10 AM ETA niyo, diretso kayo sa SM Cebu and ride the UV Express to Danao port. Around 1 hr ang travel time. Pagbaba sa terminal, sakay ng padyak papunta sa port. 20 ang fare, if I remember correctly. From Danao port to Camotes, 3 hrs ang ferry ride. Pakicheck check the ferry schedules but when I went there Feb. last year, hindi ko inabutan 'yung 1 PM ferry so 4 PM pa 'yung nasakyan ko. So kung manggaling kayo sa airport, medyo magmadali para umabot sa 1 PM ferry kung hindi pa rin hourly ang alis ng mga barko.

I stayed in Bellavista Camotes along Santiago Bay. Sa kanila na rin ako nakakuha ng habal-habal driver. Rate for the island tour was 600 yata + gasoline. Maiikutan niyo na lahat ng tourist spots including Buho Rock.

Suggested mala-Amazing Race iti:

Day 1 - travel to Camotes
Day 2 - tour Camotes, ride the last ferry back to the City
Day 3 - leave super early for Osmeña Peak, hike
Day 4 - leave early to head back to Cebu, mga noon dapat nasa city na kayo, then city tour after lunch

Or

Day 1 - travel to Badian
Day 2 - hike Osmeña Peak
Day 3 - Kawasan
Day 4 - leave early to head back to Cebu, mga noon dapat nasa city na kayo, then city tour after lunch

Or

Day 1 - travel to Camotes
Day 2 - tour Camotes
Day 3 - head back to Cebu in the morning, check in Mactan resort
Day 4 - check out noon, city tour after

Thank you for the reply sis.  I don't know which to pick, Osmena peak or Mactan.  It will be my first time in Cebu kase kaya I want to make the most out of my trip.  Camotes and Mactan are both beach so I know I should choose Osmena peak but I wanna go to Mactan din.  What do you think ladies?

^ Hindi kasi enough ang 4 days niyo to do everything. You can just go to Osmeña Peak then beach bum in Mactan. Next Cebu trip na lang 'yung Camotes hehe. Uubos ka kasi ng around 4-5 hrs dun one-way.

Kung mag Osmeña Peak and Camotes ka naman, super pagod byahe 'yun, baka 'di niyo lang din ma-enjoy.

Hi sis sweetslover! Agree with sis ohcmon's suggestion na dapat you should pick either Camotes or Osmeña Peak.  If pupunta ka ng Osmeña Peak, sabihin mo lang sa konduktor ng bus na ihinto kaya para sa Osmeña Peak, maraming habal habal drivers doon offering a ride until sa paanan ng bundok.  100/person (one way) ang pamasahe from highway to paanan ng bundok.  Travel time from city to Dalaguete is around 3 hours, pag may traffic aabot yun sa 4 hours.  Then from the highway to the peak, almost an hour din. 

Ito suggestion ko sis.

Day 1- City tour
Day 2- off to Osmeña Peak, what I can suggest is better leave early like 3AM para makakarating kayo ng Dalaguete around 6AM.  By noon, uwi na kayo sa city. 
Day 3- Mactan resort
Day 4- Check out

@ sis charmed30: Ano ba ang trip mo sis? Since hindi naman ganoon kahaba ang pagstay ninyo sa Cebu at may kasama pa kayong baby, here's my suggestion.

Day 1- City tour
Day 2- Stay at any beach resorts in Mactan
Day 3- Check out

^Medyo delikado yung papunta sa osmena peak. Bangin yung gilid plus yung bandang taas rough road steep pa. Kung may kasama baby i suggest mag camotes nlng kayo or malapascua tapos kalanggam island maganda rin.

^^ booked na kami feb 6-9 with my hubby and 8 month old baby. hotel namin is Best Western Plus Lex. Plan namin same sa recommendation mo, city tour lang and one day tour sa isa sa mga beach resort. magtry din kami mag mall and punta dun sa mga lechon shops. any recommendations kung sang resort kami pwede mag day tour?

sis charmed30: sis try Pacific Cebu Resort I've been there last week.  The place is so quiet and the staff are so accommodating.  May 2 swimming pools sila at may beach front.  Then yung lunch buffet ay included na sa kanilang day tour.  Day tour rate is 750/person if weekends and 650 (yata) if weekdays.

Hi mga sis, planning a family trip to cebu this coming holy week. 3 lang kami. First time to go to cenu if ever matuloy. Gusto ko sana relaxing tour lang tipong beach tapos city tour/foodtrip lang hehe. Siguro 3days 2nights lang kami. Nag backread ako very helpful ang mga posts dito, kaso medyo pricey ang mga nabanggit na hotels sa beach. Budget ko sana is 2-3k a night, may ganon bang price range sa mactan? Or any white beach na 30-45min away from the city? Hindi naman kami looking for watersports, tipong relax at swimming lang pede na hehe.

^ Sis medyo high-end hotels in Mactan. Around 5-6k minimum siguro esp. peak season ang punta niyo. Pwede naman check in na lang kayo sa city then day tour na lang sa resort.

@ sis rocky: Matagal na ang Pacific Cebu Resort sis.  Under new management na sila ngayon.  Yung address niya is around Suba Basbas, yung malapit papuntang Plantation Bay.  I find the place relaxing.  At if ever maraming tao sa resort, hindi siya crowded kasi wide yung property nila.  As far as I know sis, yung canyoneering rate is 1K per person, wala nga lang akong contact person. Lol

@khaleesiCersei: sis Mactan lang ang pinakamalapit na beach sa Cebu City. Most of the magagandang beaches talaga dito sa Cebu ay nasa provincial areas na.

sulit yong nakuha kong 50% off sa bayfront hotel nong pasko. hindi ko ini-expect na ganon kaganda room nila kasi 1500 lang binayaran ko tapos sobrang bilis ng wifi kasi solo nyo lang per room. kung may pool pa perfect na sana kasi maganda din location nya tabi lang ng SM
