^medyo luma na PB & hindi ko gusto yong pool lagoon nila kasi parang ang daming lumot nong sahig. sa movenpick kami nag-stay ni hubby habang hinihintay yong marriage license, so parang pre-honeymoon na rin. hehe! may free shuttle din sila pa-SM & ayala kaya mas ok don kumain para mas maraming choice. gusto ko yong pool nila, maganda din yong bar nasa dulo ng parang port lalo na sa gabi sa ilalim non daming isda pwede kang magpakain & maganda rin beachfront. yong room namin maganda ang view

Aqua18, I stayed overnight sa Movenpick last August, and sad to tell you na hindi ko nagustuhan ang Movenpick. Bottled water mahal; food and drinks sa Ibiza mahal and sobrang tamis for me; hot water shower hindi gumagana; bathroom sink barado; wifi only works at midnight, etc. Medyo okay ang coffee shop sa lobby. I even went to one yoga session in the morning with a masungit na instructor. Akala ko malaki ang resort because of the photos sa website nila but I was disappointed. I never liked the beachfront and the pool was just okay. Friendly service from stressed staff, mukhang konti lang kasi sila sa dami ng guests.

I also stayed at Radisson Blu near SM; near to perfection.  If I'm coming back to Cebu, I will stay again in Radisson with a day trip to Mactan or sa Shangrila na lang nang masubukan.

aqua18, hi sis! Since it's a honeymoon trip, might as well go for the best and well, Movenpick is not that bad naman, it's just that I was so surprised reading from ataypool's sharing.. Grabe naman ang nangyari sa kanila. Anyway, Plantation Bay, not a fan, too. Pretty much the same reasons as those cited by sis rocky. Why don't you consider, Shangri-la? Since it's a honeymoon trip. Another place to look into, check out Crimson also, I like Crimson Food choices during breakfast in Crimson is not as much, so I'd go back to Shang pa rin. Again, depends on what you're after and what your budget also looks like! Movenpick pricing though is quite steep, so whenever we're there, we only do breakfast sa Sails. Other than that, all other meals, we take outside the resort because it's just a tad too much. For the Ibiza bar, very nice and relaxing to hang out there at night, but once you see that a Mojito (which is just average in taste) is at 500 or so per serving, makes me miss Boracay's rates. Good luck and keep looking!

^^sis ataypool, buti hindi namin naexperience sa movenpick considering na sinulog yon so dami talagang guest plus mga celebrity. yong sa brekky lang ako naumay kasi 4 nights namin don araw2x ganon hehe hindi nagbabago menu. agree with radisson blu, sobrang saya mag-stay don pati service ang ganda. masarap food sa buffet & ang daming choices. pag business class room mas sulit dahil ang dami ding food & drinks sa lounge pag cocktail

Insanelypurpleprincess, you are right about the Mojito sa Ibiza. I paid more than a 100 pesos for a bottled water from the lounge, which was only 30 pesos, even less, from CNT lechon near SM. Next time when I'm in Cebu, Shangrila na talaga if I go to Mactan.

Rocky, I liked the breakfast buffet selection at Radissons maski I only ate the danggit with fried rice and fried egg. Madami kasi sila selection ng western food na hindi ko kinakain when I travel, gusto ko local food. Tikim din ng Cebuano longganisa okay din kaya lang natamisan ako masyado.

Good thing nabasa ko about Plantation Bay, we were planning to go there. Hindi na siguro.

Pwedeng diretso na kayo ng Oslob upon arrival, dating kayo dun around lunchtime, tapos pasyal kayo sa Tumalog Falls and Cuartel sa bayan after lunch (Tingko Beach pwede niyo ring puntahan though medyo malayo na ito nang konti), then rise at 6AM the next day para mauna kayo sa whaleshark watching. Balik na kayo sa city after the encounter.

7AM din ang arrival ko nun sa Cebu and went straight to the south terminal, a little over noon ako nakarating sa Oslob, so kung didiretso kayo doon upon arrival mukhang malabo na kayo umabot sa butanding, unless you'll hire a private car to take you there para mas mabilis ang byahe.

Help po please... Need iti for our trip on May28-31. Arrival May28 Thursday at 7:00am tapos balik ng Manila is May 31 Sunday 8:00am so may 3 whole days kami for tours and activities.

Plan namin CebuCity-Bohol/Panglao-Moalboal/Oslob
Ano kaya magandang unahin mga sis???  6-8 pax kami.

Thank you mga sis sa reply niyo Actually eto napaisip nanaman kami ni hubby if sa City na lang kami or mag bandang south or north kami.. Gusto kasi namin relax lang yung trip since we'll be having our part 2 ng honeymoon sa Japan   Kinoconsider din namin yung travel time.
Any suggestions mga sis?

ataypool, agree with the Shangri-La option when in Cebu. And I am glad na may naka relate naman sa complaint ko about Ibiza and their price point. Crazy kasi eh. I mean, I will not blink for a Php500 Mojito, basta super sulit naman and yummy the mix, but it was mediocre. We also tried ordering fries & sandwich while swimming, it was like over 400 pesos naman per seving and it was just so so. Movenpick is okay for rooms & swimming, but when it comes to food & drinks, not so!

jelliebean28, naisip ko tuloy, na since kasama naman pala Bohol sa itinerary niyo, you could have opted to go to Bohol first then head to Cebu or go to Cebu first then just fly out of Bohol after. But again, if booked na.. Then, you probably can do this.
28 May (THU) - Arrival at 7.00am
7.00am to 8.30am - Travel to South Bus Terminal
8.30am to 10.30am - Cebu to Oslob (Are you going to do the Whale Shark Encounter? You can do that provided you reach Oslob by 11am at the latest)
Travel to Moalboal thereafter - Stay Overnight there.

29 May (FRI) - Spend the day in Moalboal
Mid-day, head back to Cebu
Perhaps take the Fast Craft to Bohol in the PM
Travel to Bohol - Stay overnight.

30 May (SAT) - Travel back to Cebu in the late PM after a full day in Bohol.
Explore the rest of Cebu City at night.

31 May (SUN) - Flight back to Manila

aqua18, there's a lot of very nice hotels within the city center and I'd recommend you stay there. IF the whole point is just to relax, staycation in Cebu is totally awesome. You head out only to try out all the superb dining options in Cebu.

quick question sisses, how's the food in quest pala? my daughter and i will be staying there for 2 days. ok naman ba yung breakfast nila? how about yung ibang meals? my 500 peso credit kasi kami and i'm thinking of using it to pay for dinner or lunch. thanks!

purple_girl, food is Quest is good! I am always happy with their offering for breakfast. Since it's just 2 days, I don't think you'll reach a point that you don't want their food na. Breakfast is something we like to go to at Puso whenever we have the time. As for the other meals, it would be a good idea to use your food credits towards one of the lunches or dinner even.. depending on when you'd like. I realized that lunch is too close to breakfast... baka busog pa kayo.. Unless you dine real early!

Hi sis insanelypurpleprincess, thanks for your inputs super i appreciate it. Yeah tamang staycation nga lang next time na siguro yung mga activities madami pwede balikan sa cebu. Hehe. Right now baka Movenpick or Crimson or plan namin hatiin yung nights dun sa dalawang hotel para lang ma experience.

So possible naman kami mag lunch and dinner sa labas ng hotel dba malapit lang siya sa city? Para hindi rin masyado magastos.

Hi sisses, malayo pa ba ang travel from oslob to liloan port. Saka Ceres bus lang ba transportation papunta dun. Balak kasi namin na ITI e Manila-CEB-Dumaguete-Tagbilaran-Manila.  Kelangan lang  namin mapa-experience sa mga pamangkin ko ang whaleshark encounter.☺️ TIA.
