Personal Financial Planner

Hello guys,

Have you heard about personal financial planner? It's like a doctor about financial aspect. Mostly they are from RFP, RFC etc.

Sa states kasi, they normally hire their own financial planner. Dito satin di pa uso.

Just want to ask, are Filipinos already open for this kind of set up? You pay a financial planner para maging ok yung finances mo?

Sa mga mayayaman po ata uso yan. sila kasi tong maraming kailangang i-plan lol
gusto ko nga maging RFP. Kaso para magin RFP kailangan may experience ka na in financial planning eh paao ao magkaka-experience kung di pa ako RFP? hehe labo lang.

Yeah. Baka sa mga filthy rich. Now, RFP, etc. na din naman mga insurance agents so one would normally get free advice from them. Plus andami ng companies nagbibigay ng free seminar or financial planning which is nakakatuwa.

dapat naman kasi ini-incorporate sa school ang pagtuturo kung pano ihandle ang iyong personal finances... ayan tuloy maraming tumatanda na di nila alam ang mga options available para sila yumaman at unfortunately, nababaon pa sa utang.

masyado kasing traditional ang tinuturo sa school: magaral lang, maghanap ng trabaho, magsumikap hanggang mapromote, magipon sa bangko... ganun ka-simple lang.

pero right now andaming available info sa internet... yun lang how to get these info across para madaling maintindihan ng mga taong litung-lito pagdating sa pera

and in truth, takot ang mga tao sa financial planner... tingin kasi mga ahente bebentahan sila insurance, pre-need at kung [textspeak!]-anong plans

Kahit hindi ka business/finance/econ major puede pero bago ka kasi makakuha ng RFP title dapat mag-accumulate ng experience as a financial planner.

Baka may gustong mag-try nitong program (gusto ko rin kasi hehe) or baka may naka-try na. Share your experiences naman

Hello mga sis, personally I'm RFP. But I'm also affiliated with an insurance & investment company. What's important is when someone is interested to become my client availing of financial planning, I tell him the fees beforehand. Like it can be commission basis or fee basis, so that he knows beforehand. If during the financial planning process he feels inclined sa company that I'm not affiliated with, I refer him sa friend from that company naman

Yun Prulife UK agent ko, nag aral dyan sa RFP, may case study defense din.Now wait na lang nya yun certificate nya na RFP na sya.

Marami sa net na free consultation to test the water tapos yung iba naman may company sila. Syempre kung ano product ng company nila iyon yung sinasuggest nila. For me lang i suggest basa ka muna ng book like you Till Debt do us Part ni Chinkee Tan tsaka yung I wish they thought Money in Highschool so I'm not dependent on my Pay Check Magsisimula ka talaga muna sa simpleng budgeting sabi nga nila. SAVE.PROTECT and INVEST.

May nakita ako na walang produktong sinasuggest -- education lang talaga.
