Hi!! Any sisters here who had or will held an event here?? Any feedbacks/review? Did you avail of their wedding package or venue only? Ano po ang mas sulit? I'm targetting the Silk Pavillion for our 2016 wedding but couldn't find any thread about them here in GT..

hi sis! our 2016 wedding will be held at Banyan Pavilion. we initially wanted Silk also pero we realized we wanted a bigger space. we really liked that Banyan has a receiving area that we can use for registration, photobooth and other food carts. mas malaki pa yung garden outside which we can use as well. we also got a 12k discount sa bridal fair last January so d na rin nakakahinayang

we got the venue only package. at that time, hizon's pa lang ang meron sila na wedding package for 2016. when i compared the rates with the caterer that i got, tipid talaga. ang dami ko pang nakuhang freebies and upgrades sa caterer because we booked them at the bridal fair also. even if mag-add ako ng drapes and electricity mas mura pa rin.

Ilang guests ka sis? May I know kung sino ang caterer mo and anong upgrades nakuha mo? We booked K By C sa fair and got freebies as well pero konti lang Concern ko rin yang electricity, do we really have to upgrade? Hindi ba talaga enough ang 20amperes?

^ we got Josiah's sis. we got an instant 10k discount sa package and price locked in, upgrade of menu, upgrade to cocktail bar, pasta bar and desert bar. binigay din nila all the welcome treats plus free flowing coffee and tea station, refillable din softdrinks and iced tea. free lechon chopper, free 20 crew meals. im not sure if ganito talaga sila ka-generous sa lahat. ang saya lang kasi everything we ask binibigay nila.

sabi ni Mikee (our AE sa BL), usually enough na yung 20 amps if you won't use too much lights and sounds. example, if you'll get a full band, you might need to add more. unlike if acoustics lang baka pwede na ang 20. may nakuha ka na bang lights and sounds supplier sis? usually sila daw ang makakapagsabi kung kailangan mong mag upgrade.

Wala pa sis e, reception venue at caterer pa lang ang nabook namin kayo ba? When is your wedding sis? May I know kung saan ang church nyo? We are eyeing for SSJ kasi pero concern ako sa distance.

Kailangan pa ba natin ng stylist for blue leaf? Mga how much kaya ang kailangan para dito?

sis January 2016 wedding kami, SSA ang church namin. medyo malayo nga ang SSJ pero manageable naman siguro kung iwas sa rush hour. we're still waiting for feedback from Darlene regarding sa current sound system ni blue leaf, dati kasi maraming complains dun sa in house nila pero noon pa yun at baka inayos na raw. if ever kailangan pa rin, si rejectkrew ang recommended niya.

Hello!

I am fixing my best friend's wedding and we're having the reception in Blue Leaf, Silk Hall on September 19, 2015. We initially reserved the Jade hall, pero after the MOB visited, she told us she wants us to book the Silk Hall instead and she will just pay for the difference! Anyway, our AE is Mikee, and so far nababaitan kami sa kanya. Anyway, we got the package with BL and The Red Chef since I heard that they serve delicious food. Wala pa kaming mga details, but looking forward to arrange it by April and May.

Also, for the lights and sounds, my OTD, Jody, suggested we upgrade, what do you think? We will have a quartet for the reception, so iniisip namin that we have to really have good l/s.

We have Silk for our June wedding this year.  We went there nung umuwi kami last december kase nagbook kami without seeing the venue personally...lahat lang based sa pictures.  What I like about it kase separate siya sa banyan and jade so masyadong maririnig yung mga nangyayari sa kabilang hall...and ok yung layout for me and tama lang sa # of guests na plan namin.  Ilan ba sis ang plan ng guests niyo? kase kung more than 250...banyan ang mas ok.

We got venue only pala..then separate booking for Hizon's.  As to L/S, nag-upgrade kami as per our coordinator's suggetion kase dati ata nagkakaproblema sa in-house l/s nila BUT nabasa ko naman the other day from Ms Darlene na ok naman daw yung in-house l/s nila ngayon...so I guess inayos na nila....hindi na rin namin macacancel yung nakuha namin pero ok lang din.

Does anyone plan on having fireworks on their wedding? We have hired Dragon Fireworks, but it shocked us of the permit acquisition fee, is it really 4.5K? ang mahal! and for those in Silk san yung fireworks makikita? sa harap, or sa gilid?

hi mga sis! makikisali dito - i'm helping my sister plan her wedding kasi and for now gusto niya talaga blue leaf. we are eyeing banyan dahil we're anticipating around 250 guests.

sis ilynaloira, mas nakamura ka ba by booking separately (venue and caterer)? we won't be hiring stylists since the main reason we are leaning towards blue leaf is maganda talaga yung place. we haven't decided on caterers yet, although ang mga kino-consider namin (based on the packages) are k by cunanan, josiah's, hizon's, center table. dahil hindi din kami kukuha ng stylists, i'm checking out the fbs and instagrams of the caterers para macheck out yung styling nila.

sis bzbee, that is indeed very generous of josiah's! do you usually avail of the freebies/upgrades through bridal fairs? i was wondering kung makukuha din kaya namin through the phone..

Hi mga sis!:) Blue Leaf bride here:) Ours is Banyan for June this year. Initially, package with kbyc dapat kunin namin but our coord suggested that if we have preferred suppliers like l/s etc., better to book separately na lang. Kaya di na namin inavail yung package nila..for church naman, Christ the King, Greenmeadows kami, mejo malayo sya, pero if c5 yung daan, madali na lang naman sya (sana lang di masyado traffic ) our AE is Iris:)

^ sis so far ive only booked 3 suppliers sa bridal fair and we got really good deals. i think if you can negotiate well pwede mo rin mahingi yung freebies kahit over the phone lang.

regarding sa caterers, i suggest you attend their scheduled food tasting events so you can try their food for yourself. i was able to attend josiah's, hizon's and center table food tasting. mas nagustuhan namin talaga josiah's, although others might say otherwise. kanya kanya lang talaga sa styling naman popular si kbyc, you can read a lot about them here.

Sis BPStar same tayo medyo malayo ang church sa reception. Im an SSJ bride what time ang start ng cocktail nyo sa blue leaf?

mga sisses, did you avail of the full draping with crystals? Enough na ba yun or mas ok na magdagdag pa? Parang it looks simple to me kasi, wala na bang ibang colors nun other than white/black?

sis lyr3hs 6pm-11pm yung time namin pero according to kbyc mag start daw cocktail ng 4:30pm..i'm not sure kung yun na ba talaga yun kasi di pa kami nakapag finalize ng details with kbyc. regarding draping naman, our AE send us samples ng full drapes nila, meron sila ivory, light yellow and black, madadala naman sya sa lights niyo. Yung samin black para tugma sa theme namin then nag pa add on kami ng fairy lights:)
