Passed our visa applications today at Discovery T. Hopefully mabigyan kami, 6 kami who will go to JP the 4 members went to Japan na lots of times before 1990 but my nephew (6 yrs old) and I are the only ones who havent gone there. Hindi naman ba sila mahigpit sa pag approve ng visa nowadays?

Sis beachpatrol, maraming branches ang abc mart. We bought shoes in shibuya and harajuku. 

^sis, i know they are more lenient now. Basta complete ang requirements niyo. And most of the time if you were given japan visa before, multiple entry na ang bibigay.

^hhmmm... Ako kasi sis yung mga nashop ko lang yung shoes sa abc mart, uniqlo jeans that were on sale, some stuffs for my kids, a few cosmetics then the rest were puro goodies na for pasalubong.

We're planning a trip to Japan and have already chosen the spots we will visit. Will appreciate if you could help me determine how many days are needed so we can cover the selected spots per area. That will also help me in finalizing our flight sched / how many days to book for our air tickets (probably a MNL-NRT, KIX-MNL route). We're travelling with kids (ages 10 and 9) so we want a relaxed itinerary. Hoping for your help, guys!

Tuloy na yung Hotel Asia Center of Japan namin, hindi na kami nakapag-check ng ibang hotels for Tokyo. But we'll be staying via airbnb sa Osaka part ng trip namin.

Btw, any of you have tried withdrawing sa Japan using our local ATM/Debit bank cards like BDO?
Gagana ba yung Mastercard and from your experience, malaki ba charges?

Gusto ko sana para may option ako if wala akong cash on hand (or kung konti na lang). Medyo hirap humanap ng Yen ngayon. Wasn't able to prepare for money change dito sa Pinas eh this coming week na ang trip.

@cezy, my friends were able to use their ATM cards (BPI and BDO) in Japan without any problems. Nag-withdraw lang sila sa 7/11. Wasn't able to ask the charges though. When I used mine sa Seoul, very minimal lang ang charges ng BPI and BDO.

Nag hoard din kami ng Nike shoes nung April haha. Yung pinaka mura na Roshe na nakita namin is around JPY 7,000. Yung Air Max naman nasa JPY 8,000 to 10,000. Maganda mamili sa ABC mart at Atmos. Sa official Nike stores, mahal.

@ beachpatrol: ABC Mart is everywhere! As in one store is literally just a stone's throw away from another store, lalo na sa Namba area! I forgot what the sneaker's alley in Harajuku is called but if you follow the crowd, makakarating ka 'ron for sure.

@ projectgora: YES! It was my first Nike purchase. I would've bought  a few had I known they're so comfy! Sana sale pa rin come July. AT true, mahal nga sa Nike stores.

Best bet will be at Puroland. We bought my daughter's HK fix though sa Diver City.

I made some revisions on our itinerary. I will appreciate if you could comment on it. Please let me know if doable ba or masyadong cramped na. I am okay to add more days to accommodate the sites that we planned to see than to squeeze them all in a day or two. May kasama kasi kaming kids so dapat relaxed pace lang ang gala.

Hello sisters. Medyo out of topic yung aask ko. I booked kasi our flight for Mnl-Nrt June1. Sa pauwi lang ako nagbuy ng baggage wc is 20kgs. Ive read somewhere kasi na we get to bring 7kgs baggage each? 6 kami to travel. Please clarify.

Another noob question, can I bring powerbanks and clip lenses? I have 4powerbanks, 1 dun is from CD RKING.
