All about Philhealth III

@evemetamorphose no sis. actually samin, ang nag ayos is yung philhealth department ng hospital para mabawas ang newborn package din kasi i need to add baby as dependent e kakapanganak lang nya so sila nag process. walang hiningi na marriage certificate. basta ikaw nanay ok na yon. e paano kung single mom ka pala, diba?

what i did was i changed my status sa Philhealth ko to married and changed my last name to my husband's prior to giving birth. then nung nanganak ako, hospital na nag ayos. basta ang sa kanila lang, my philhealth name would match all the documents na issubmit ko sa hospital. so i used my married name na during admission para hindi magkaproblem with birth cert ni baby. so dito dapat iisa name na magrereflect sa lahat ng documents.

hindi daw pwede cruz apelyido ko sa philhealth at single status tapos hospital records e santos tapos married. issubmit kasi ng hospital sa philhealth yun for reimbursement naman nila so dapat iisa.

Hello mga sis,

4years ago kasi nung nanganak ako with kuya, wala pa akong work so dependent ako ni hubby. tapos hindi naman ata siya nagupdate ng status or tinanggal niya ako as dependent. paano kaya yun, now na manganganak na ako and may sariling philhealth na, pwede ko ba gamitin yung kanya kung nakadeclare na dependent pa rin niya ako dun? or do we need to update pa ng status?

^ sis if you have your own philhealth na, use yours and declare your newborn as your dependent para ma-avail nya yung newborn care package ng philhealth. 1750 din yun.

wala kasing kwenta HR namin ako pa maglalakad ng mga documents hehe thanks sis! yung akin na lang gamitin ko sayang rin pala yung 1750.

hello mga sis, ask ko lang sana kung paano yung sa philhealth. OFW ako and nagbayad naman ako ng Philhealth. Mother ko sa Pinas yung nagbayad for this whole year 2015.
Sa Pinas ako manganganak, tapos by 7 months pa kasi ako uuwi sa Pinas. tapos ask ko lang kung may mga i-aapply pa ba ako na anything like few months before ng due ko? Or during panganak sa hospital, saka nalang aasikasuhin or after na manganak saka na aasikasuhin yung maternity benefit ko. as in clueless talaga ko.

^jm23- sis basta naman may resibo yung hulog mo ok na yun. aasikasuhin niyo yung paperworks sa hospital na mismo so bale yung companion mo maglalakad nun. yung hospital na pinanganakan ko (Chinese Gen) may philhealth office sila sa loob humingi ako ng checklist ng requirements, patulong ka mag ask ng requirements nila to avail philhealth benefits. i'm not sure kung pare pareho requirements ng mga hospital pero aasikasuhin yun dapat bago kayo madischarge sa hospital once nakapanganak ka na.. ipapasa yung mga requirements bago kayo magrequest ng billing  sa accounting para naless na yung philhealth... sample nung saken:
-2 copies ng cf1 (filled up with same information on both forms)
-2 copies ng cf2- may pirma ng doctor (isang form for me isang form for baby para madagdag siya as my dependent)
-receipt ng contribution (voluntary ako)
-member data record (MDR- nakukuha to sa philhealth office)
-temporary birth certificate (may separate requirements ito at sa hospital iniissue)
-can't remember kung required din pero nagprovide ako ng photocopy ng philhealth ID ko.

Ang alam ko, pag CS is Php 19,000 ang iko-cover ng Philhealth

@jha_10 yes sis for as long as she pays 3 out of 6 months prior to date of delivery, whether as employed or voluntary member, eligible sya to claim maternity. Pero confirm mo din sa hospital dahil some require 6 months payment.

Hay, salamat talga sa thread na ito mga sis. Dami kong natututunan. I just submitted din sa HR namin yung change ng Marital Status na form. Paano yung ID sis need ba ulit natin kumuha sa Office ng philhealth bearing our husband's surname na?

Hi sisses. Share ko lang recent experience namin with philhealth. Hubby was confined 3 weeks ago, he underwent endoscopy pero sa ibang hospital ginawa dahil hindi available yung procedure na yun kung saan sya naka admit. Ininform naman kami na sasagutin ng hmo namin, pero nagulat kami na hindi pala sasagutin ng philhealth yung procedure. Hati kasi sila dapat ng hmo so kami anh nagbayad ng portion ng philhealth. Ang saklap lang kasi ang mahal din ng inabot, more than 10k sinagot namin. Ang policy daw kasi ng philhealth, kung saan lang naka admit yung patient, dun lan magagamit yung coverage so dun sa isang ospital, hindi raw pwede gamitin. Sana baguhin nila to, kasi hindi naman kasalanan ng patient kung hindi kumpleto facilities nung ospital, malay ba nila dun. Tapos pag weekend din pala na admit, ang hirap din. Kasi paano kung saturday na admit, sunday nadischarge, eh pag employed yung patient dapat galing sa hr yung philhealth forms isusubmit sa hospital. Eh hindi naman open ang hr ng weekends din. So ganun nalang, sorry nalang pag naospital ng weekend.
