Robotic Sweeper & Vacuum Cleaners

Starting a new topic specifically for robot sweeper & vacs.

Recently purchased one as my toddler hates the noise of the traditional vacuum cleaners. Brand is Aerogaz. It's one of the cheapest brands available here but I'm amazed of its output. The robot gathered so much dust after I left it running on its own in the living room and dining room (I turned it on after I manually swept the floor). It's very easy to operate and noise is tolerable. So convenient for me, I can do other chores in the bedroom while watching over my daughter. Power is only 7 watts. Happy with its performance but thinking to upgrade to robotic vac if there's a better one that has stronger suctioning power and has a price that would not hurt my wallet  much ... lol.

I'm eyeing Neato but hoping to hear more feedback from other users here and pls share what brand you use.

ours naman is I-robot roomba. bought in sg last 2013. really convenient and it gets the job done. nakakatawa lang when it tried to vacuum the hairs of our sleeping dog. Our dog yelped! kaya this time our dog avoids it na. and we find it very adorable when it goes looking for its charger and tries to avoid the obstacles we purposely put in its path.

^yes definitely. but for a more thorough cleaning, we use the regular vacuum. well, the roomba cannot  sweep tight corners unlike that of the regular vacuum where the hose can siphon off the dirt in the tiny recesses of the house or room.

we also have iRobot Roomba

we find this super useful... especially after I've just given birth - no one has the time nor the energy to clean press a button and away it goes... one press again, and it'll go back to its base

we're thinking of buying iRobot Scooba too just before I give birth to our 2nd child. Most likely we'll have even less energy to clean then kasi looking after a toddler and a newborn na

^I live in Australia so I'm not sure if Roomba is available in Manila, but we bought our Roomba 780 for over $1000. Now it's less than a grand because there are newer models na.

I know LG and Samsung make robot vacuum cleaners too.

Stirling ang brand na gamit namin. From aldi sya. Nasa 170 aud lang yata yun. Linis na linis naman ang madadaanan unlike before na kawawalis mo lang maalikabok agad. Downside lang, i have long hair, pag may nadaanan na stray hair sa sahig, bumubuhol sa sweeper so ang ginagawa ko isang pasada ng walis, kahit pahapyaw lang tapos bahala  sumimot si vaccuum.defeats the purpose i know pero laking linis ng sahig namin mula ng gumamit kami nito.

Hi Girls!

Can you suggest a vacuum cleaner comparable to Rainbow that's available in the Philippines?  I need something that has excellent suction power for the mattresses, pillows and couches, and something that won't encourage spreading of the dusts while the maid cleans. 

There is ongoing construction in our area so it's quite dusty and my baby has allergic rhinitis.  I don't mind the cost, so long as it has great quality, excellent after sales support, reasonable warranty period, etc.

I had a bad experience with the sales agents of Rainbow Vacuum so even though I am already set on getting one, I would rather put my money somewhere else.  Very bad experience talaga, no consideration whatsoever to potential clients, it's all about money money money.   I wonder what service I will get when I have the vacuum already.  Please suggest girls.  I want to vacuum my baby's mattress weekly if possible.

^I have a Dyson double radial cyclone vacuum cleaner. I've had it for a year and I'm very happy with it.  We have to vacuum our house 2-3X a week because of our indoor cats.

Madali lang ba maglinis ng vacuum cleaner? Do u have to clean it after each use? If not, how often?

Looking for a vacuum cleaner that :

1) space saver
2) easy to use
3) effectively cleans (I don't need to sweep the floor na)
4) easy to clean

Any recommendations?
