Colegio de Sta Rosa Makati, any feedback?

My daughter is incoming grade 4 and we are interested in transferring her sonce we're also moving to Makati next month. She's currently enrolled in a montessori somewhere in the south. Okay ba sa Sta Rosa? Not to mention the tuition, halos hindi din nagkakalayo sa ibang catholic schools in the area. Except St. Paul Makati, we already went there pero for some reason hindi nagustuhan yung school. Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks mga sis!

I'd really like to know too. I'm going there tomorrow to inquire for my daughter who is incoming grade 2. She said she wants to study in a school with no boys that's why I'm considering this school. So far ang napuntahan ko palang are Assumption and CSA. I'd like to know any feedback regarding CSR din, please.

Hopefully may makapagbigay ng feedback. CSA is our 2nd option pero mas malapit kasi samin ang CSR. Assumption naman I think walang elementary in Makati parang nasa Antipolo ata.

Hi LGV, i've been to those 3 schools that you've mentioned. I can give you feedback based on my observation lang kasi nag inquire pa lang naman ako sa kanila.

1. Assumption, Makati - they have gradeschool in Makati. The campus seems okay although hindi na ako nakaikot sa loob. The people there were friendly and very accommodating. I asked them the number of students per class and the teacher/admin officer told me that they have at least 40 in class. Napansin ko lang sa assumption parang walang parking pero hindi naman ako sure kasi hindi ko nga sya naikot. Concern ko yung parking kasi ako lang sumusundo sa anak ko e. i dont have a driver. Annual tuition fee for grade 2 is 99k+ annual (but they told me hindi pa updated for next yr so baka tumaas pa.

2. CSA (San Agustin) - i liked this school, it's nearer kasi to our place so mas konting traffic ang madadaanan namin. There is ample parking pero nung naginquire ako inabutan ako ng uwian, napuno din ng kotse and hindi gumagalaw for a while pero mukhang okay lang naman. Hindi ko naitanong yung number of students per class kasi i was talking to them behind the glass and parang busy sila with their computers kaya kinuha ko na lang requirements and tuition fee. Annual tuition fee for grade 2 is 93k +.

3. CSR (Sta. Rosa) - to tell you honestly, hindi na sana ako pupunta dito to inquire kasi i like csa already, pero namamahalan ako and my daughter would like to transfer to an all-girls school so pinuntahan ko csr just to see. When i saw the campus, i felt at home. I was able to go inside kasi nasa loob ang guidance and i saw some of the classrooms. The girls are well behaved kahit walang teacher. I saw some dancing, nagkukuwentuhan pero tahimik sila hindi kagaya sa coed school na kahit may teacher, ang ingay pa rin (gaya ng school ng daughter ko now). I asked how many students are there in a class and they said maximum of 30 (which is a good sign na for me). Annual tuition fee for grade 2 is 72k+.

Sa tuition palang, naconvince na ako sa csr hehe... Pero syempre, daughter ko pa rin magdedecide kaya mage-entrance exam kami so she can choose between csa or csr.

Btw, may nagsabi din sa akin na walang elem sa assumption pero meron e when i went there. Meron din sa website nila and sa history parang matagal na elementary nila dun. Hmm...

Sis, I really appreciate all the details!

Just to share, I am giving birth in 2 weeks kaya medjo hindi ako makadecide if pupunta na ba kame personally or sa summer nalang. Well mukhang okay naman nga based sa sinabi mo and sa mga narinig ko lang din from other people. One thing, at first ayaw ni hubby ng all girls but since CSA nga is medjo malayo na kasi sa place namin tapos papasok pa ng village parang medjo hassle lang. Rbe garding sa tuition I also called and asked. Ang sabi sa incoming gr4 daw is around 77k BUT there will be 10% increase this coming school year. So it will be around 85k din. Meaning hindi sila nagkakalayo layo ng presyo haha! Oh well kung okay naman why not, sobrang konting difference lang. And naging interesado ako nung sinabi mo na behaved ang mga girls, magulo naman talaga sa coed. I am still hoping that I can go personally the soonest I can. i went to CSR from nursery until sixth grade.  then in Assumption from first year high school until second year high school.

things may have changed since my time, but the CSR grounds were beautiful and expansive.  lots of greens, open spaces, and fields.  Assumption was smaller, i recall.  i guess they have no room to expand inside San Lorenzo.

class size was about the same.  but i do recall that my Assumption teachers were a notch higher credibility-wise.  i love all my CSR teachers but in Assumption, i had to up my game a little to keep getting those O (outstanding) grades.  I had a more relaxed time in CSR and still managed to get high marks.

Any more feedback on thi school? I'm considering this for my daughter. She will be in Grade 1. How much is the tuition? How is the school compared to St Paul Makati?
