Who are your Wedding Suppliers? Part 7

Next to look for are Musicians: Band/Strings. Anong mas ok for a wedding? Any recommendations? Not sure if its a bit early to book this, pero mas ok na mauna ko para makapili pa ko ng magaling at sulit.. Help sisses?

It depends on the mood you're after and the guests that you're having. I have attended weddings where there were bands but were not sulit because guests couldn't care less about them. The couples were better off having a playlist instead. BUT I guess it all depends on the crowd that you'll be having.

Personally though, I prefer strings. It's also more sulit to have strings for both ceremony and reception. What we did was get strings for both and then I simply prepared a playlist for the after party. But that was our crowd, so it all depends on yours

lyr3hs, I'm not a huge fan of bands unless they're really good. That's just me though -- I really prefer hearing the originals of pop/dance/EDM songs when I'm dancing kasi. We decided on a string quartet for the prelude (they'll be playing when guests arrive)/ceremony/cocktail hour, a playlist for dinner, and a club DJ for after dinner.

sparklingjewel, my fiance's still putting it together (he's much more musically literate than I am) but happy to share when he's done! I'm bad at it too so I can relate. I don't know if this helps but we're basically starting with easy, relaxed, mildly head-boppy songs, and then mixing in some more upbeat, dance-y pop music towards the end of dinner to get the energy up as people get more intoxicated hehe

We plan to get married October 2016. Plan namen sa hometown ni h2b ang wedding. 300k budget. But we think mas makakamura kame pg dito na lang sa manila, kahit 200k ang budget.

Congrats on your engagement sis San hometown ng bf mo? Will you be including transpo budget dun sa 300k? Kami kasi sa hometown ko naman magpapakasal. We didn't include ang transpo ng family ni fiance, only accommodation (6-7 hrs land travel from his to my place). Hehe. Siguro pwede nyo din iconsider yun to cut costs, na kanya kanya na kayong transpo cost

^Sis we are doing a playlist din. Planning to put in a DVD burn it so the L&S' job will be lesser as i put them into one DVD nalang heheh. then i will write the song and when to play it.

Hi sis, I was to try White Label Bridal last May lang. I honestly like their gowns. Simple and elegant. They are also very accommodating and hindi rin hassle ang parking and the location. They also encourages me to try different styles, 4 different styles din yung na fit ko. Medyo pricey nga lang siya for me. Kasi for that price range, I can have a decent couturier na and I can customize pa.

I have tried White Label and I msut say they are super accommodating and nice and the gowns were elegant. I tried quite a lot of gowns when I was there and they were more than happy to help me fit Pero, tama si khalee, the price is quite expensive for RTWs kahit galing pa sya sa ibang bansa. Di ko alam if on going pa promo nila na if you book on the spot they'll slash 10k off your price, pero try to ask nadin Ask ko lang, have you tried white label  near ADMU? RTW din sila and mas mura ng kaunti dresses nila. Try mo nadin si Teena, I think she can work with your time frame pag simple gown lang naman ang peg mo

Onga sis eh advice pa naman samen ng church dapat by August complete na docs namin.. November din kami sis, wedding will be in my hometown sa Batangas. Some suppliers namin are Manila based since andito kami parehas ni partner. Hehe. Actually hindi nga ako masyado napepressure, sabi ng sister ko ako lang yata ang b2b na hindi nasestress haha! Kayang kaya pa naman!! Yung gown and rings lang talaga ang kelangan namin unahin for now.

Thank you sisses khalee and fluffyfluff for your feedback. Si Gaile ang kausap ko sa White Label and she's very accommodating naman lalo na at 3x ako nagpapalit ng appointment lol. Regarding fitting, what if hindi ko size yung RTW nila? Haha kasi i was searching some online and usually yung mga RTWs eh corset type.

Sis fluffy, is that Ivory and White ba yun? Yun malapit sa Ateneo? Di ko pa natry sila pero nababasa ko nga about them. Will try to schedule an appointment with them din.. Thanks sa suggestions.

Hi sis simang  lapit na pala wedding mo..ako almost a year pa hehe. Sa iloilo ang hometown ni bf. sa 300k, kasama na dun  full coordination ng coordinator in iloilo. Full package yung balak nameng kunin since we are based here in manila. sa 300k, include na dun yung transpo ng immediate family ko and accommodation ng mga bisita sa hotel. Ako dito na lang ako magpapatahi ng gown.

Sayang din yung matitipid na 100k if dito na lang kame magpapakasal sa manila. Kaya we are considering na baka dito na lang yung wedding. Dame ko pa ibback read regarding sa wedding suppliers ng mga sisses naten. Hanap pa ko reviews ng BELLA CREATIVE EVENTS.

Hi sis simang, yes Ivory and White yung sinasabi ko near ateneo regarding RTW and sizes sis, yung mga asa shop naman nila are samples lang, they'll still take your measurements into account tapos mag order sila ng right size for you. For example, White Label gowns are from HK tapos if you need adjustments pag dating ng gown mo dahil hindi sya ganun ka fit, they have local mananahi to adjust it for you Kaya you can also request from them additional cover ups na peg mo incase gusto mo pero locally made na yun

And dami mong choices ng simbahan (if church wedding). pero baka ma offset yung transpo cost but depending na rin how many people will need plane/boat/roro tickets going there. Accommodation is cheap though and even transpo in the city. If sa city area kayo everything seems like 15 mins away. If you decide na dun nga kayo let me know if you need any local suppliers.

Are you familiar with eXpressions Events Management Event Planning? They are based in Jaro Iloilo. Bf and Ms. Gem of Expressions Events already chatted via facebook and exchanged texts. I can't speak nor understand ilonggo so sila talaga nag uusap. And based on their facebook, magaganda naman feedback sa kanila. Ok kaya sila sis? Familiar ka ba? 180k full coordination. We would like our wedding to be held at St Joseph the Worker Parish and either Diversion 21 or Hotel del Rio.

sis me and h2b are both from Jaro din. St Joseph is probably around 5 mins away from our place. It's one of the relatively new churches and maliwanag  sa loob. Not so sure yet with eXpressions Events. The wedding I attended there were handled by Not Just a Box Events and they're batchmates with my sister. Ano yung inclusions ng 180k? Kasama ba yung reception and church cost dun and other essentials like styling, hotel, bridal car etc?  I would suggest Diversion 21 over Hotel Del Rio since their ballroom is bigger, newer, have a separate cocktail area and more parking space. My barkada's reception was there and ang dami ng food! I think it was about 5-6 dishes plus lechon and roast beef carvery pa. I think it was around 600-650 per head pero sobra sobra na yun. Del Rio though is right beside the river and across the Iloilo Esplanade so maganda mag pictorial dun. But I'm not sure about food since it's been a long time since I attended a wedding there. Usually we just eat steak in one of their restaurants.

Sis fionaapple is right sis rightback. 180k is wedding package with full coordination. Church fee is not yet included sis. 180 inclusions are p/v, reception, bridal car,flowers etc.  But they said na 7-8k lang yung fee ng St Joseph. I prefer Diversion21 hotel nga sis kasi my bf's grand parents held their 50th wedding anniversary there. But our chosen date is not available anymore. Actually marami pang hotel na nirefer yung coord and yung natatandaan ko, hotel del rio at sarabia manor yung choices namin ni bf. E parang tingin namin mas maganda hotel del rio kaya ayun yung balak naming piliin. I will check Not Just a Box Events na lang din
