Yes, me too! No matter how early you started your preps and how much research you've done, problems will arise despite all the precautions you've made to avoid them. Part of the wedding experience I guess. Hehe.

^who did you get as your caterer? I remember sabay [textspeak!] nagFT sa Osio's a? hehe December bride ka ba sis? Medyo2 complete na din sis, mostly souvenirs na lang saka hotel for wedding preps ang kulang.

May bride ako sis.  hindi na ko kumuha ng caterer, naka kita kami ng place sa may Rizal, cozy siya then you just have to pay for the food then free to use the place. I'll pm you

Our chapel of choice is still not final It's still available on our wedding date and preferred time pero we're still waiting for the decision of the parish priest if papayag syang dun ang ceremony. Hopefully we can finalize this in the next two weeks.

Next on our agenda is my dress -- have talked to several designers and may shortlist na ko. Still can't decide though kase one of them is my friend and sadly, sya yung may pinaka mataas na quote sa peg ko na dress. Haha, i understand naman why. So I'm still contemplating on this.

Wedding rings -- asked for a quote sa La Real, sent them a photo of our peg rings and okay naman, swak s budget.. Although di pa ko convinced. Haha!

We will be DIYing our invites and souvenirs. Iniisip ko pa kung isasama ko dito ang flowers for my entourage.

Hi sis wala pa kaming schedule ng food tasting with them. Balitaan kita once final na May basic styling sila, and may 'advanced' din. Haha. May ka tie up din kasi silang stylist. I'd say cheap na yung upgraded styling nila and maganda. Di pa namin sure though if mag upgrade kami.

ALSO MGA SIS quick question lang. First time namin makipag-meet sa supplier tomorrow. Super tight I know but nakalimutan ko kasing factor ito. Are we required to feed or buy something to drink (if coffee shop) the potential supplier we're meeting with? Naisip ko lang kasi ngayon as I was about to sleep. Kung ime-meet ko lahat ng shortlisted suppliers ko and pakakainin or paiinumin ko sila until mahanap ko si "this is it" malaki din pala magagastos? Kasama pa sa wedding budget. Haha. Dahil if that's the case daw, ayaw na ni H2B na makipag-meet pa sa supplier. Book na lang agad. Ayaw ko naman nun.

^ sa case namin ni hubby sis during preps abroad kami nun so lahat skype or viber lang heheh nung officially booked na namin sila and meet ups na personally when we got back sa pinas puro coffee shops din meet up namin at kami na lang din nag shoulder ng expenses. I agree malaki laki rin especially with wedding coordinators na 3 to 4 times meetup and di lang naman isang tao yung imeet mo. Since di ako sure that time and di rin ako nagtanong, kami na lang nagbayad. Lol.

^ sis in our case, never pa kami bumili ng food/drink for a supplier pag meet up. usually they buy their own naman. ang importante is you're on time and ready with your questions para hindi sayang oras niyo pare-pareho.

Hi sis unicahija. We normally meet suppliers in their office especially during the time when we were still looking around. However, during the very few times that we meet them outside, we offer to buy them drinks. What I did to save time and effort was to research, reach out to suppliers and ask initial questions and quotations, make a shortlist and only meet those who made the first cut. It was a time and cost efficient way to weed out those who do not meet your standards or budget requirements. Hope that helps.

I met a supplier yesterday, we had coffee. The supplier insists on paying the bills, ang nakakahiya, kasama pa namin si MIL. I insists on paying the bill din, kasi nga may kasama kami. Kaso sabi nya guests daw kami kaya siya na.  Dapat ba ako nagbayad?

IMHO, in sales perspective, it should be on suppliers' pocket pero safer side buy your own na lang especially if wala pa talagang deal then maybe ask them if they want something but don't presume na it is your obligation. it is their business you don't need to impress them they should. they need to get your trust and attention.

usually may ilang meetings naman talaga na alloted yung suppliers pero kung konting tanong tapos malimit na change of mind tapos gusto ng client ng meeting halos linggo linggo be considerate din sa side nila.
