Girls, ano ba dapat and timeline for booking suppliers? April 2016 pa kasal namin and so far church and reception venue pa lang meron kami, though we plan to book our coordinator and p/v within the next few weeks. Akala ko data mabilis pa yung pace namin pero based sa mga ibang post dito parang and bagal pala namin!

So ano ba talaga dapat mga suppliers na binobook 1 year before? Ano naman mga pwede kahit 9 months before? 6 months? 3?

Sis BPstar , I availed Van Renolla's makeup services for my entou, my wedding last October 2014. 1k per head ang rate nya sakin. And I must say I love her work that's why I want to recommend to future brides.

Favors for Principal Sponsors sis mejo nagkulang kami sa oras so wine nalang then we add personalized touch by adding personalized bags..Ayun sis. Pero a friend of mine gave jewelry boxes for the ninangs and belts for ninongs which are all branded.

hello sis! makikisagot. i think it depends on how big your wedding will be. how many guests. kung sikat/ in demand ba yung suppliers/church/venue na kukuhanin mo.

because for a simple intimate wedding, i think kaya ng 6 months preps, for big weddings, i guess 1 year is sufficient. here's my timeline for reference. 85 pax simple wedding. first i booked the church 9 months before the wedding date. then scout for reception&caterer. booked it 7 months before. scout for P/V, booked 6 months before. scout for HMUA and florist, booked 4 mos before. Applied for cenomar, seminars, documents, precana, canonical, all other docs etc 3 mos before. 2 mos before, i looked for OTD, cake supplier, sounds & projector.. Then i sort of stopped. Pahinga. Kasi mejo nakakabaliw. Haha

Siguro start mo yung pinakapriority mo. Like kung bet na bet mo tong supplier na to, ibook mo na sya agad. Kasi baka may mauna sa date mo, lalo kung well-known. Wala namang mga right or wrong na timeline sa pagbook ng supplier IMO. If you have more time, much better sa tingin ko. If sure ka na na final na yung kukunin mo. Kasi malolock in mo yung previous year's rates nila. Usually kasi by january the next year, nagtataas sila. Tapos, syempre mabblock nila yung date for you. ^_^

Our chapel of choice is still not final It's still available on our wedding date and preferred time pero we're still waiting for the decision of the parish priest if papayag syang dun ang ceremony. Hopefully we can finalize this in the next two weeks.

Next on our agenda is my dress -- have talked to several designers and may shortlist na ko. Still can't decide though kase one of them is my friend and sadly, sya yung may pinaka mataas na quote sa peg ko na dress. Haha, i understand naman why. So I'm still contemplating on this.

Wedding rings -- asked for a quote sa La Real, sent them a photo of our peg rings and okay naman, swak s budget.. Although di pa ko convinced. Haha!

We will be DIYing our invites and souvenirs. Iniisip ko pa kung isasama ko dito ang flowers for my entourage.

Hi mga sis! Got married na last year (finally! yay!) at nakakamiss din pala ang stress ng planning haha! Nakakatuwa na mag back read sa thread, feeling ko ikakasal ako ulit. Hehe! To help our B2B's, here's a simple review ng mga suppliers na nakuha ko..


Caterer: KbyC- my dream caterer! I was so happy with the way everything turned out. All my guests said na ang sarap food namin. hehe they never disappoint talaga thank you Rann!

Coordinators: Bouquets and Tiaras- the dream team! highly recommended coordinators. Love the sisters, Chell and Audrey! Right from the very first time i met them, nafeel ko na talaga ang connection namin, although muka silang bata pero they get the job done. Nagcomment pa ang guests at suppliers ko na hindi daw sila kagaya ng ibang coords na nagmamataray at well coordinated ang lahat. Inasikaso nila lahat kaya bridechilla talaga ako. sad nga lang na hindi sila kilala masyado dito sa GT

Venue: Ayala Heights Pavilion- I mean, why spend a fortune sa venue when you can get the same result sa cheaper venue? Diba? I was at Blue Leaf Filipinas just last month for a friends wedding, nung nakita ko parang Ayala Heights lang, higher ceiling nga lang pero diba, hindi naman titingala the whole time ang guests mo? hahaha! Again, I was able to book Ayala Heights because of my coordinators. May kilala sila dun so nakapag sponsor sila take note, 25k lang ang venue ko compared sa 115k ng Blue Leaf Filipinas. Ang saya diba?

HMUA: Soleil Capulong: very professional! At infairness, super flawless ako until the end of the reception. Kung hindi lang masamang matulog ng naka makeup baka ginawa ko nga hahaha! J/k!

Florist: Ysabela Florist- one word-- WOW! Thank you Ka Weng!

Photo and Video: East Digital - sulit! we got the Premier B package. as in complete package na.  As for the shots, magaganda lahat even our SDE. We gave them detailed instructions kasi kung anong gusto namin, at nagawa nman nila kaya happy kami

Host: Nikki Veron Cruz- salamat kasi walang dead air! yun lang ang request ko hehe

Photobooth: Flipbooks- ang saya! enjoy ang guests!

Souvenirs: Fascino Perfumery- this one I discovered lang din dito sa GT at thank God I did! Ang bango talaga ng perfumes nila at nagllast ha. Hindi nakakahiyang ipamigay sa principal sponsors at guests

Bridal Gown: Edward Teng- Edward Teng. Enough said

Entourage Gowns- Deb c/o Bouquets and Tiaras- again, thank you B&T for introducing to me Deb. My initial budget sana for my entourage is around 5k/gown kasi syempre gusto ko naman maganda ang susuotin nila. Pero i was able to save 50% dahil nirecommend nila sakin si Deb. Magaling tumahi at very cheap!

Bridal Car- I opted for a simple car lang kasi di ko naman priority. A white vios ok na sakin



I was very happy talaga sa kanilang lahat. It wasnt a perfect wedding of course but I'm glad na hindi sakit sa ulo ang suppliers ko Hope this helps mga sis!

Chili1113 I just got Christine's rate sheet. Unfortunately she is waaaay over my budget at 65k for OTD =( I dunno why but finding an OTD and stylist has been my biggest headache hehe

Nakita ko din yan sis yang hillside estates na usually kiddie parties ang events based sa mga blogs. Sa foursquare ko hinanap yang ayala heights may nakita kong event pics, wala lang talagang contact info haha! Mukhang di pang non-member/non-resident lang, either dun nga sa otd wc mo sis or kakilala to request sponsorship.
