hi mga sis! first post - although andami ko na threads na nabasa super nakatulong talaga sakin! i'm helping my sister plan her may 2016 wedding kasi.

we haven't booked venues/suppliers yet, pero so far eto top choices ng sister ko and fiance nya:

Reception: Blue Leaf Pavilion - Banyan
Emcee/DJ: Francis Day

yun pa lang  for the church, we are googling closest ones sa venue na may a/c. caterer naman, nababasa ko na highly recommended dito ang k by cunanan, although yung mga packages na inemail ng blue leaf magaganda din, so dun medyo di pa kami sure. we're also thinking of getting the chocolate bar for the dessert bar.

Oh no. Me and future SIL were just talking about her wedding last night. two years since her wedding, she's still nababadtrip everytime her coordinator is mentioned. Events & Elements. Schoolmate nya kasi that's why she got them. Madami pinangako na service. Ayun ang bottomline sya halos din gumawa lahat. Plus madami nakalimutan sa wedding nya.

If in two years time di pa din sila nag iimprove...nako.

^ ah yes! beautiful church too! medyo matagal lang byahe to blue leaf especially pag traffic. pero if hindi naman rush hour, i think you'll be just fine.

oh my... two bad reviews for Events and Elements =( I was considering them pa naman, and their rate is by far the lowest/only half of the rates of coordinators I am  considering. Haaaaayyyy how sad!!! Booking them would have saved me 20k.

I dont think naman every event is as bad as my experience. Maybe its just one of those bad days we all experience nataon lang kami ang couple nila during that one bad day. Nag-text ako sa kanya about my concerns out of good intentions naman, it might help her diba if she knows her team's weaknesses and flaws para maimprove services nya. My husband kasi is doing corporate events too kaya napagusapan namen to tell her para maging better syang coordinator. But she took it negatively. Expected naman na yun pagtanggol nya ang team nya...up to the point she didn't own up sa kahit anong hassle na nangyari. yung 2 things na akala ko hindi nagawa, nagawa naman pala but hindi nya na-inform ang ibang teamates nya so everytime na tinatanong namen sila hindi nila alam ang isasagot. Sana nag-coordinate sila ng maayos para hindi sila clueless sa mga nangyayari. For our other concerns hindi nya inaddress, telling us na we were rude, disrespecful, etc. of her team. Wth?! Si husband oo umabot sya sa ganong point sa sobrang stress na nabigay sa kanya ng 2 shadows nya, but he called Bon after and apologized. pero ako not even once did I disrespect her or her teamates, everyone from p/v, hmua and others know that I was smiling the entire time and doing things on my own. Halos wala akong inutos sa shadow ko pinabuhat ko lang sya ng bags ko and ask her to get me a banana. Thats about it

Omg. You don't tell a client they were rude and disrespectful. You can think that, but you don't tell it to their face. Dahil ba nakapagbayad na? :| Fail.

Sis Chili1113 given the way you described yourself, i really suggest you just get a reputable and veteran coordinator (again). Ako rin, I just really will not be able to contain myself if coordinator pa ang pumalpak during the day itself. That's what i'm paying for na nga e, peace of mind and thousands of hours of experience on managing things that go wrong on the day, so no excuse talaga to miss out on things! Have you checked out Kutchie Z and Christine Ong-Te? Good experiences with them from several weddings of my friends, from a guest POV i would say these are among the most flawless weddings I've seen.

Sis macbride, that coordinator doesn't sound professional. You don't rant out on a client and tell disrespectful things unless ganun talaga yung client. She should have taken things constructively. Well, loss nya yun ngayon. May negative feedback sa kanya.

Sis dpoll, check out Tin Lucas. May FB page siya. Also, Val Villarin. Hindi siya Tagaytay based pero super good deal ang services niya. He'll be my HMUA.

While h2b and i were meeting his couturier, we were able to chat with this lady from christine-ong te events. I'm not sure if she's christine though.. She told me they joined the bridal caravan in sg, and their rate given that time for otd was 10k na lang..
