Caterer Review : K by Cunanan PART 3

Hi sissies!  We're doing the list of dishes that we want to have on our final ft in less than 2 weeks.  Most likely we will exceed the allowed number of dishes.  My AE advised if we want more than 1 dish per category, it's 1500 per head.  Medyo nalito lang ako.  So we have to pay an additional 1500 per dish or that 1500 is per person and that extra person will have the same number of dishes pero ibang klaseng dish lang siya from what my h2b & I will be having?

not sure sis, in our case we gave all the dishes (i think i ordered 5 desserts, 2 chicken dishes, 3 salads pa nga) that we wanted to try and they did not charge us anything.

clarify mo sa kanila since they're the ones who can answer you.

Thanks sis zaji731!  I've already emailed my AE and I'm not expecting to receive a reply today.  lol!  H2b wants to finalize the dishes before our flight to Manila.  Eto daw yung kasama sa final ft with no additional charge:
3 starters
1 soup
1 salad
4 Mains (pasta, fish, chicken, beef/ pork)
5 desserts

But we want to try other dishes din kasi.  Hopefully they can clarify this kahit tomorrow.

Nung final FT namin nag list kami ng lahat ng gusto namin itry. Wala naman sinabi si Jam na may additional cost sya and I think naserve naman lahat.. also, among all that we've tried kulang pa rin kami ng isang dish kasi hindi namin nagustuhan yung iba and our coords Jets&Rhona (who were with us then) asked the waiter (or Jam, hindi ko na maalala) if they can also serve us one of their pork dishes para we can try that too. So sinerve din yun sa amin.

Sis rienny, you can request for addtional menu without the additional cost. That's what Jam did to us. Kase we had a hard time choosing tapos dami pa kulang. So 2 soups, 2 salads, 5 mains instead of 4, 5 desserts din.

Precisely sis belle_v2g.  It's so hard to choose.  I hope they'll allow us to try other dishes with no additional cost.  Yung spread for the bread, kasama ba sa cocktails nila?  I want to try that too pero hindi sinabi ng AE namin kung kasama siya or if that's on top pa.  I'm still waiting for her reply.

^rienny25 yes default kasama yung spread. we even had two.
for us we had an extra food tasting which i paid for for 1k/head. this is on top of the final food tasting since i wanted to try other items before deciding on my final menu.
for final food tasting they did not include the spreads for the bread though. maybe you can request that from your AE.

Hi mga sis! we inquired kay k na we will be waiving our styling from them kasi we have our own stylist/florist.  so maybe we can have a discount sa price ni k by cunanan. sabe nila they cannot give discounts daw kahit walang stylist/florist so coconvert daw nila to photowall na flowers. have anybody experience this? we want sana na maka discount kasi sa ibang caterer halos 20k to 30k ang natatangal sa total bill kasi walang florist/stylist parang sa kanila food na lang and tables chairs ang florist ko na bahala mag setup.

Just had our initial FT last week. Unfortunately, 2 dishes lang nagustuhan namin out of all dishes na sinerve nila. How can we choose dishes for our final FT without even tasting the rest? Any advise sisses?

Hi Sisses,  possible bang kumuha ng dishes dun sa original wedding package nila?

Kasi im having LOL + KBYC package and I noticed some of the food/menu are not in the LOL+KBYC package.  We already had our Initial FT with them and so far we enjoyed all the foods kaso parang mas masarap ( sa name ) yung ibang food sa original package nila.  Lalo na sa part ng dessert, iilan lang ang choices sa LOL+KBYC package eh we are going to have 5 kasi nagka freebies kami.

Hi sissies!  We just had our final ft & detailing last Feb 24 and we were told they can't waive off the VAT anymore kasi nag change ng management ang Fernbrook/Palazzo Verde.  Sayang din kasi yun.  Has anyone had the same experience?

Hi everyone,

We booked KbyC plated dinner packaged with Blue Leaf Pavilion. My AE Nicole (who has poor customer service btw) emailed me last month na plated dinner requires more prep space area and so they will be needing tents, which will be charged on us.

I told Nicole via email that according to my contract with Blue Leaf, caterer's area is included in the package with Blue Leaf. Bakit ko kailangan problemahin kung saan sila mag-prepare ng food just because I got plated dinner? I flat out told her I refuse to pay for the tent. And why the heck was she telling me this less that 3 months before the wedding?

When I raised this issue to my AE at Blue Leaf, she said that the caterer's area is part of the basic venue inclusions and they never had to ask any of our clients to settle extra charges for the tents where the caterers prepare.

Nicole never replied to my email after 2 weeks btw so I sent her another one last night. My MIL also called her office yesterday and spoke to somebody about the issue. She finally replied saying she's "still working on it" with Blue Leaf. I am clearly not impressed.

Ask ko lang if anyone has experienced anything like this with KbyC and/or Blue Leaf Pavilion?
Can I still request for a change of AE kaya?
