^Yup, we went with sitdown and that was a good decision as well! Our guests are more the type na di nakakaexperience kasi ng buffet weddings.. so even if it was an outdoor dinner they still felt the formality because everyone was served sitdown Good enough job i think for a caterer considering di kami hotel food.

Hmm on food, i believe the salmon was a bit undercooked. The rest, from appetizers, soup, salad, main course (tenderloin), sorbet and desserts, everyone was raving about. Guests said the salmon was good also pero i just noticed it could have been cooked more. Servings were huge, i think a vast majority of the guests didnt finish it haha. We also had a whole lot of food to take home! I think the cost was around 1,900 per head.

Upgrades are yung salmon with seafood pasta namin as well as the tenderloin with ponzu, onion rings and potato cakes. My hors d' oeuvres were also 6 kinds, on top of a pica pica bar (pistachios, cashews, peanuts, nachos with salsa and cheese dips, caramel popcorn) so medyo overwhelmed sila sa food, sobrang dami daw.

I'm also thinking of adding more hors d'oeuvres and pica pica but at the same time ayoko naman na mabusog ang guests to the point that they won't be able to finish the dinner. How was the wait staff's service pala? Were they able to live up to your expectations? Sabay sabay ba na-serve kung mga courses? Thanks again!

Okay lang kaya na for 50-75 pax lang? Plan kasi namin na very private wedding lang.

^originally ganun ang plan namin, max of 80 guests lang pero sabi ng AE namin, min number of pax is 100 talaga. If you want daw, you pay the price for 100 pax then use the money for the extra heads for upgrades etc.

Nagpareserve nga kami sa kanila pero we had to let them go kasi gusto namin ng intimate wedding talaga eh medyo mahal sila.

^^ Yes - I think there's a minimum. 150 pax if buffet I think or if you chose the higher package with cake. Their buffet rate starts at P990+VAT+10% SC. But this was the 2015 rate.

yes i think the minimum is 150 pax. although if you can opt to have the extras as upgrades why not. although if sit down is min 100 (not sure), and you use the 20 pax as upgrade it will have that nice intimate and formal vibe.

did any of you get your venue layout? we're a week away and still haven't received it.

Hi girls, for those na si Nina ang stylist. Just want to ask your reviews with her styling skills, she's doing flowers/bouquet arrangement and ceremony set up na din kasi. Its a beach wedding so same place for ceremony and reception so i'm thinking of getting Nina as the same stylist na din for the ceremony and for my bouquet. I'm thinking if that's the set up mas bigyan nya ng pansin styling ko pati reception by KbyC. any thoughts? thanks

^hi querubin, i just told my friend about that last weekend if she wanted to consider nina to do her entourage flowers. she has impressive styling skills, seen her twice during our initial and final ft while she's organising another client's table detailing. i think magiging uniform ang styling since iisa lang ang gumawa.

^Sis - yes I can vouch for this! Nina is superb with flowers! I had a last minute change in backdrop (4 days before the wedding) and she delivered well. I just sent her a couple of pegs and I told her sya na bahala. My theme was Spring so it was very Nina. Get her especially if you want consistency with your entourage and reception flowers.

^10K as well with ours. I also booked at the Getting Married bridal fair last year. BUT what I did was I paid in December 2014 for our December 2015 wedding because I want to reserve and be sure about the date but I told them that I will "officially book" at the bridal fair for the freebies. Ok naman nangyari and they agreed to it. Rann was the one assigned to us and partnered with Nina. Not sure ha pero pag bridal fair yata they distribute equally the AEs and Stylists. They also make sure na hindi sabay sabay yung AEs and Stylists assignment on your wedding day. They only accept 4 weddings a day (I think).
