Hi zaji, that wedding was May 2013. Pero tumatak sakin yun, hindi ko malimutan kaya cross na sila sa list namin. Naawa ako dun sa friend ko kase madami nag reklamo sa kanila na kinulang yung food

Yes that was two years ago and the wedding has 600 guests. The food was bland  and worst naubusan, yun talaga yung pinaka-off for me. During the waiter parade of foods, one waiter slipped and muntik pa matapunan yung isang ninong, good thing sa paa lang banda tumapon, sapatos lang yung nadumihan. Kaya since then tinandaan ko talaga kbyc, pero since it was two years ago naman na baka nag improved na sila ngayon.

^Thanks sis  for clarifying. Basing from the reviews of KbyC, there has been about 85% raves about them.  But like in the recent reviews there are some isolated cases.  I am a KbyC bride as well, and my wedding will be next year. If there is one thing na I know they have a problem with, its communication.  But once I raised it with my AE, she makes sure that my queries are answered if not during that day, within a week.

^ sis missus o, have you attended an actual wedding of kbyc? I suggest try to attend one kase di ba minsan sa food tasting or sa bridal fairs kung ano yung best food and look nila yun ang ipapakita. Pinaka-important sis kausapin mo yung AE mo na wag kayo kulangin sa food. Since, you're paying premium for kbyc they should deliver well talaga. Pero sa styling nila magaling talaga sila

Ms lavenderblossom, Is that sitdown or buffet you're talking about? KbyC doesn't have parade of food/waiters if buffet. And I guess they just started having sit down last year. Please clarify. Thank you.

^ msdianne meron sila sis, buffet yung sa friend ko. Baka ngayon tinanggal na nila yung parade of waiters or maybe upon request of couple. Pero dun sa friend ko meron. Parade of waiters is for vip only since hindi naman na pinapila yung vips.

^Thanks sis. I haven't attended a KbyC wedding, but my mum and my best friend had. And they were all raves especially sa food ☺.

Sis missus o, that's good to hear baka isolated case lang yung dun sa friend ko since it's a big event madami kase sila guests nun and maybe isa yung table namin sa pinakahuling tinawag para kumain kaya siguro nakulangan.

Thank you Ms Lavenderblooms. I personally forward everything to my AE and she was surprised about what happened there's no such case like that if there is may we asked where was the wedding venue?

Kasi like what my AE told me before...
If a couple booked for say 300 it's only good for 300 if may extra guest count the "buffer" food is not for the extra guests.... Having said that, taste is also subjective. We respect your POV but yes I guess we need facts also.

^Missus O don't fret. KbyC is one of the Top 3 in the catering business now (with Bizu and Juan Carlo) as for the Ultimate Test Taste of all caterers for 3 years now. You can look sa mga reviews ni Anton sa Our awesome planet.

Always, talk to your AE about any concerns. So funny I even told her about this thread para aware sila. And just now the bad reviews are haters and bashers according to them. hahaha! 

We're in good hands just always address your concern to them.

msdianne I can pm you the couples name then inquire about it with your AE's I'm not making story here, it's a first-hand experience. But of course they will deny it na kinulang sa food. Like what I've said, it maybe an isolated case. Baka iba na ngayon. Even iced teas nun would you believe naubos na rin daw nung humihingi kami, kaya naloka talaga ako sa wedding na yun.

I'm not a basher and definitely not a hater of kbyc, it's constructive criticism you have to be open with it para hindi rin mangyari sa wedding mo because you are paying premium for kbyc

That statement was according to KbyC I'm just saying their side too. Because most of the brides here are getting them for their wedding and you don't want to hear series of bad rants about their preferred supplier especially the food. Who would want that right?

So for all the brides here don't fret. Just talk to your AE and raise all the concern.

The negative review prior my wedding was about 2 years ago as well. I had a couple of years to plan with only 1 bad review from a bride.

It's ok naman to share watch out's but if it's not recent, less worry meaning they got better already if the incident was true.

^ siguro to be fair na lang, let's be transparent with our suppliers review and share when the incident happened. Medyo iba kasi din ang impact when we consider the timing. If it was something that happened only recently, I'd be worried. Pero if it was two years ago, I can deal with it.
