Caterer Review : K by Cunanan PART 3

Hi sissies! Newbie here! I think ako [textspeak!] September bride na tinutukoy ni sis chocnat! Haha I have the 850 rate dn for their promo and I'm strongly considering it.. Right now I'm searching for the recommended dishes by our other sissies to double check if it's on the promo and so far andun nmana un iba.. The ones I've read n recommended and are on the menu are Hoisin Chicken Wrap, Squash soup, Barbecue chicken salad, Baked Fish in cream, Barbecued Back Ribs..

For chicken wala [textspeak!] supreme of chicken then for beef merong mga slow cooked pero iba ata cya sa recommended na w/ Mashed potatoes.. For pasta naman, 6 choices lang pro so far un [textspeak!] mga reco dn ng ibang b2bs like mixed seafood pasta, vongole pasta, spicy tuyo angel hair pasta, baked tomato and creamy persto penne penne..

Gaya ng isang sissy natin plan ko dn stick to 4main dishes dn since may possibility naman na may lechon dn kami so no need for  pork dish..

IMHO, the menu's not that bad.. May bread pa din cyang kasama pro you'd have to choose between salad and soup nga lang.. i think I'll ask Jam din kung pwede iconvert [textspeak!] 1 dish ng dessert to additional cocktail.. I think 1-1.5hr na gap between wedding is acceptable na (5mins away lang kasi reception venue sa church haha!).. May na-attendan nga akong wedding na 1PM natapos [textspeak!] ceremony pro 5PM na kami ngstart ng reception program! Haha and wala pang cocktails un pero may waffle time cla sa venue and SB (limited number)..

Elars with an S yung with a Z kasi fake daw 

Lechon Baka from Bulacan daw. So i said no and will get Ellie's roasted calf instead.

Well, taste is subjective. Iba iba talaga. Different wants, different needs. No wedding is the same. As long as happy and contented with your choice you'll get by.

I'm thinking of getting our lechon from them para wala na masyado kausap pa na iba. But the prob is, ang aarte namin mga visayan pagdating sa lechon lol.

But wala naman extra fee aside from the 600 carvers fee if we get another supplier for lechon? didn't know meron palang fake "elars(Z)" haha

Fave ng family namin Elar's kaya super happy kami yun supplier nila for lechon. It won't disappoint. They have a store in Quezon Avenue beside Metrobank. If you want have a taste first.

But we'll be getting lechon from K by C yes with 600 carvers fee para less hassle sila na bahala. We'll serve it cocktails palang. Peg kasi namin mabusog ng OA guests. After all yung food talaga maalala sa wedding.

looks like we'll troop all the way to qc just to give it a try. i want to screen the lechon first before matikman ng ultimate food critic--my mom haha. ako naman yung goal ko lasingin yung guests ko cocktails pa lang. but i also considered choices of cocktail food to be served. feeling ko kasi our guests would have their lunch early so baka gutom na nga ang mga yan.

Yes it differs naman talaga your guest's profile, taste and your preference too. Basta important we made a good choice sa caterer! Value for money I must say ang KbyC...

^true sis. good food and styling rolled into one. i think i was able to save around 150-200k on styling costs by getting them as our caterer

How much pala ang fee pag magpapaset up ka ng food tasting after ng initial food tasting? Parang gusto ko kasi magpaset ng FT with them ulit para matikman namin iba nilang food, ang malaman namin ano pwede namin piliin para sa menu namin. Dun na lang kami magdedate ni h2b. Haha. Saka based from experience, di ka talaga makakakain sa wedding day kaya gusto ko sulitin sa mga FT! Haha

 sis chocnats you'll have your final food tasting also with the mock set up. 2 heads lang daw pwede so yun na magiging date namin ni h2b. i requested for another FT na 1k per head just to try the other dishes. it includes 3 appetizers, soup, salad, pasta, chicken, fish, pork, beef and i was given 5 desserts.

Just want to clarify, so it's best to really book them during bridal fairs pala for the freebies. So let's say i think nov pa ang next bridal fair nila right? Will they allow kaya pencil booking ng ganyan katagal or just wait nalang to see them during the bridal fair?   Or is it possible to deposit na the booking fee and see them again during the bridal fair to get the freebies? Sorry na lost ako sayang kasi freebies e

ok siya na date sis. esp KbyC AEs give you the right space when eating.

My AE is Betina and she is really nice. I told her na hindi ko masyado type the dished that were served to us and she said okay lang daw. She said we could schedule another food tasting na kami na ang mamimili ng dishes pero may bayad lang na 1k per head.

Medyo na sad ako kasi gusto ko yung styling nila. Betina showed me the basic set up na near sa motif ko and bongga na siya. I could just upgrade sa VIP tables na lang daw if I like.

I only need to finish 3 FT with different caterers (Passion Cooks, Bizu and Richgold). If wala pa ko magystuhan sa kanila saka na lang ako magpapasched ng second FT with KbyC.

It's been over a month, pero wala pa ding reply sakin si Nina nakaka 3 followup na ako
