^for guest tables it starts at 400 per table, 800 for the VIP table and i think 800 din if you want topiaries. would still depend on your requirements sis. hope this helps

We had a mixed review during our initial food tasting early this year, but I've collated some that has also been raved about by other GTalkers. 

We highly recommend (based on our initial food tasting)

Raspberry Iced tea
Tomato grilled cheese soup shots
Vongole Pasta
Slow cooked beef in cranberry jus boursin,potato puree

I am looking forward to taste the ff.  (based on the raves of other GTalkers)

BBQ baby back ribs
Honey nut Prawn
Mixed seafood chicken and chorizo paella
Baked fish in cream
Chocolate and hazelnut cannolli
Eggs benedict
Flambed mangoes in crea
Chicken on crisp arugula
White choco cake

Hi sis, I believe that's just for the desserts, because as I remember, KbyC outsources their wedding cakes.  Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if you can choose the food for the initial food tasting.  When I asked Rann kasi she said that there was a prepared menu already. Same kasi ang siniserve for everybody sa initial food tasting. What she did tell me was that I can get to choose our food for the final food tasting.

yup! you can't choose nga sa initial (yung ibang items upgraded but indicated naman sa menu na ibibigay for the day). i requested for a second food tasting so i can try the rest. in this one i was able to choose food items but it was 1k per head. then we'll have the final food tasting in oct.

Nag food tasting kami last week with my guy and parents. Nagstandout samin yung pork belly, parang lechon kasi. The sosyal na pang cocktails na salmon in truffle oil, nagustuhan ko din (although nag iisip kami to not include this kasi baka yung iba ayaw ng raw) - ayaw ko din ng raw foods, pero sa ngalan ng food tasting I tried it, and yeah super nagustuhan ko sya

For beef, parang hindi ko gusto yung naserve, maybe because hindi ako nalambutan sa beef (in cranberry sauce yung naserve and yung isa with kamote muffin) Sa mga meat kasi, nauuna sakin  lambot, then next yung lasa.

For pasta, nagustuhan namin yung baked penne over the spicy tuyo.

For chicken, they served the rosemary chix - baka mag taste pa kami ng iba. But nanunuot sa laman ang lasa, kaya pwede na sakin

For seafood, they served tuna with mashed potato. Di ko nagustuhan yung mashed potato kasi may halong wasabi hehe, di ako kumakain ng wasabi kasi

For cake, 2 weeks ago daw may Joy San Gabriel cakes na sila! How was that mga sis?! Na tuwa ako hehe! They served 3 kinds, all in chiffon - filling in strawberry, custard (ata) and coffee caramel. Nagustuhan ko yung coffee caramel, parang estrells sabi ni mother!

For desserts, panalo yung picatostes, calamansi curd in vanilla ice cream saka Bread Pudding.

msdianne, food tasting is good for 4 pax. If you are adding more than that i guess you have to pay 1k per head.

We'll have our Food Tasting next month. Super helpful all the inputs here. We have 3 choices sa caterers (Bizu, Juan Carlo and KByC) but based sa reviews KByC by far has good reviews and affordable than Bizu

Hello everyone! 2016 bride here. We booked K by Cunanan but I haven't gone to any of the food tastings yet.. Does anyone have any experience with their plated dinner service? Planning to amend our contract once my contact receives K by Cunanan's 2016 menu price/rate. And how about their cake? I am just in love with the delightful Ms. Joyce's creations but the practical side of me tells me to just stick with the free cake that will be provided with our package. Thoughts anyone?

MsGlobalista if I had the budget we may have gone with Bizu--sarap talaga. But I'm happy so far to get KbyC and they have been very helpful and accommodating to my requests. For buffet and sitdown, you mean sitdown for the VIP? Standard set up nila yan I think. Although for the VIP they do Russian service where they serve 1 big plate for each guest and then you can get as much as you want. Not sure lang if there will be an extra charge if you want a 5 course sit down menu for the VIP.

lourd3ss not sure how their plated dinner goes. i remember it was slightly more expensive than buffet for the extra labor. they did a plated service na based on the instagram of one of their AEs but i'm not sure how it went. the free cake is from cake concepts. you can check their fb page. it looks promising but we're still waiting for the cake tasting.

I will compromise taste of food and budget. I guess it's value for money ang KByC. Next month would be hard because it's venue and catering to decide. I hope to get a good deal. Since there are a lot to canvass after that too.

rightback thanks for that! I don't mind paying extra for the plated dinner. I just feel that buffet service is too informal for my taste (to each their own right?). I checked out Cake Concepts' FB page and they're actually not bad. Will stick with them na lang. Thank you!
